    Height:

    Weight: 76 lbs.
Instrument: Rika is proficient in the ocarina and the harp, and can also play the guitar to a certain extent.
Profession: When not exploring -or sometimes while exploring- Rika typically either acts as a bodyguard or mercenary for hire, alongside doing research for both himself and others. Though his research is more a personal interest than anything, Rika has been known to submit reports and provide information to officials and others of relevance for use as a way to obtain rupees when necessary.

    Equipment:

Weapons: Rika’s primary weapon of choice is a scythe, a long polearm weapon primarily picked for its strong dueling potential and ability to overcome Rika’s short height and reach. Its long, slender pole is constructed of light steel, and extends to about three and a half feet in length, just under Rika’s height. Fixated on one end of the blade is a thin, curved blade, suitable for slicing precisely and executing select targets. On the opposite end of the pole, the steel swirls to reach a sharp pointed edge, effective for stabbing and jabs. The entirety of the scythe is a deep black in color, though the blood of its victims often stands out on its tainted metallic flesh. Despite being made of steel, due to the scythe’s makeup it is rather lightweight, allowing Rika to swing, spin, and move it with great haste and flexibility. However, due to this, its durability has been comparatively reduced, and a powerful, direct blow could damage the scythe greatly, leaving it to be a great offensive weapon with less defensive capabilities. Due to its large size, especially when compared to Rika, it is typically noticeable on the Kokiri’s person when simply carried around. When in large cities or places people often occupy, a sheath is typically placed over the sharp blade to prevent possible accidents.

Along with his scythe, Rika carries a pair of daggers, strapped and sheathed to each side. Identical in most every way, the daggers are about eleven inches in length, roughly nine inches making up the blade. Slim and pointed, the steel blade is primarily suited for thrusting, though their lightweight make-up make them suitable for throwing if necessary. The guards are small yet sturdy, designed more for defensive fighting and counterattacking more than anything. Typically that is the only time Rika employs them, when he has lost a hand on his scythe and much resort to another weapon for defense, and they are generally not used to fight otherwise.

Rika’s other main weapon is his magic; instead of any ranged weaponry such as bows, the Kokiri relies on powerful, destructive offensive magic to get the job done.

Clothing and Armor: If Rika’s personality didn’t happen to stand out, his clothing certainly did. Decked out from head to toe in red, Rika screams for attention be given to him. On his head is Rika’s signature hat, a sharp red with a circular brim, curved upward on the left and right sides. Resting embedded on the sides are two white feathers, typically kept even through care. The hat is not normal, as sticking straight out of the sides of the hat are two long, floppy, yellow rabbit ears. They seem to be completely bonded to the hat, giving it an insane durability; the ears seem to be unable to be torn, and even severe damage to the hat will eventually recover if given enough time. The ears seem to have a will and mind of their own, as they bend and move on their own as they react to their environment. Acting as a Bunny Hood, they greatly supplement Rika’s abilities, though when worn by anyone else the ears become limp and powerless.

The rest of Rika’s clothing is not unlike his hat; He first wears a white, long sleeved shirt, covered mostly by a red jacket pulled over the shirt that splits at the bottom to reveal the lower edges of the shirt. His pants are similarly matched, a bright red. Protecting his feet are a pair of thick, sturdy durable brown boots, more than capable of weathering the struggles of travel and adventure. Underneath his red jacket, Rika wears a light leather vest, which is primarily worn to help absorb blows rather than act as an end to all assaults.

Physical Description: As a Kokiri, Rika eternally has the physical body of a small boy. He is rather small, at 4’02” in height, with a lithe and agile frame of 76 lbs. Due to this, the Kokiri’s slender and flexible body is well suited for agile or dexterous maneuvers, granting him incredible maneuverability even for his size, amplified even further by the Bunny Hood. Rika has dark green hair, which falls to just below his eyes and around his long, pointed ears in length. It is generally rather messy and unkempt, though that fact is often masked by the presence of his hat. In contrast to his dark hair, Rika’s eyes are a lighter, bright green, and can range from wide eyed with interest or curiosity to glaring scornfully. Due to spending a majority of his life secluded in a forest, Rika’s skin is naturally rather white and pale, amplified further throughout his life due to spending a majority of his time in either dungeons, ruins, or libraries. Due to finding himself in combat and other intense physical activities rather often, Rika’s body is in fairly good shape, the Kokiri possessing a comparatively decent amount of muscle. Despite this, it doesn’t change the fact that he is naturally a rather slim Kokiri, leaving him on the lower end of the scale in terms of physical prowess, instead putting him on the upper end of the scale in terms of agility and speed.

Personality: Nothing is more pleasing to Rika than the discovery of something new; whether it be a secret, untapped magical spell, a completely new species of creature, or hidden ruins that had been abandoned centuries ago, it brings Rika great joy to investigate and discover them. Indeed, the burden of knowledge is incredibly strong with Rika, and it is one of his primary driving forces to explore and investigate the world, not just with mysteries, but with people; in meeting strange or unique individuals, Rika is often driven greatly to explore facets of their life and personality and to learn more about them, almost to an annoying degree. Whether as a reaction to this or vice versa, Rika’s intelligence is incredibly high; he has an incredibly vast array of learned knowledge, and his ability to comprehend, understand, interpret, and formulate information is almost abnormally good, giving him the title of genius.

Rika is often rather off-putting to others on first encounters, as partially due to his high intelligence and skill, Rika can often be rather bossy and arrogant, believing himself to be better than others. He is highly opinionated and unafraid to let his –correct- thoughts be known, often blurting them out even when unnecessary or unwanted. Rika often belittles those in positions or statuses higher than him by not giving them the proper respect they might request or deserve of their position, as he is not one for social conventions and does not believe himself to be inferior in stature to them. Due to this, Rika tends to prefer to work by himself unless there is something to actively gain with working with another person.

Lacking any sort of charismatic silver tongue, Rika has no interest in holding up a facade to save face or the feelings of others. In some cases, this can often come off as harsh or unlikeable, but in others can come across as the words someone needs to hear that others are afraid to say. This is not to say Rika does not know how to speak properly- his dialogue is typically rather sophisticated-, but rather that he makes little attempt to present himself a certain way than who he actually is. Rika has nothing against deception, however, and typically derives enjoyment from tricking others whether in a serious situation or not. He can also tend to be rather bratty and obnoxious, though it is more severe to those who are harsh in turn to him. Those who are kind to him or are able to push past this exterior to grow to become his friend will find that while these facets do not necessarily disappear, they certainly become more subdued and tolerable in favor of other traits.

Due to his eternal age, the passage of time is not of particular consequence to Rika, causing him to treat things rather playfully even when circumstances may demand otherwise, typically showing itself through Rika toying with his enemies in battle. In general, he treats other serious matters in a more lax and playful manner, rarely matching something serious with the severity it demands. As a Kokiri, not only is Rika generally unconcerned with the passage of time, typically seeing it as rather trivial, but he has no sex drive. This is not to say he does not desire any sort of emotional connection, whether platonic or romantic, quite the opposite, but simply that he shows no desire for physical or sexual interaction with another being and seems rather indifferent to the physical aspects of others.

Due to his treatment before leaving Kokiri Forest, Rika holds a particularly strong resentment towards other Kokiri. He sees them as annoying, useless, and cruel, and typically wants nothing to do with them. His natural reaction is to treat other Kokiri harshly and to distance himself from them as quickly as possible. Despite this, he still cares for other Kokiri as if they were his siblings, and though he wants nothing to do with them, Rika still does not want them to see harm. Rika sees the Great Deku Tree as his own father, and though he held great guilt for a long time over abandoning the Kokiri Forest, he was able to come to terms with it after facing the Great Deku Tree once more after many years. As a result of this, Rika has slowly began to come to tolerate other Kokiri to a certain extent, though he would still rather not be around them. Rika also has a particular dislike for Fairies and Great Fairies, seeing them as bossy hypocrites who simply tell Kokiri what to do while contributing nothing themselves. Part of his resentment is also jealousy due to the fact that he never received a Fairy guardian of his own.

On the other side, Rika has a particular attachment to animals, and generally likes to avoid harming animals particularly because he has a natural bond with them. Due to this, Rika is generally rather kind towards animals, far more so than other humanoid species. Rika also tends to get along well with other plant-based species, such as Korok, Kikwi, and in particular Deku Scrubs. Rika is particularly protective of Wollo, and can get hostile toward any supposed threats towards the Octorok.

Despite being an adventurer who enjoys plunging into ruins, Rika is rather particular about the types of environments he enjoys being in. Aside from thick, forested areas, which Rika prefers the most, he prefers cities where a lot of different knowledge, references, and information are available to reference and find, or more temperate climates. Less temperate climates, such as fairly hot or cold temperatures, are extremely unpleasant to Rika, and tend to put him in a rather grumpy mood.

Rika is mostly aligned with good, though his personal desires and motives typically drive his feelings. Though Rika relishes the feeling of battle, finding great enjoyment in doing combat with a powerful enemy, he does not find any personal enjoyment in ending life, and he typically spares his foes if killing is unnecessary. Despite that, countless years of battle have left Rika completely numb to any feeling of remorse or regret over killing a creature, and the Kokiri is able to execute a living creature without batting an eye.

Rika is a fairly impulsive person, letting his initial thoughts drive most of his actions. Though he thinks quickly, Rika is not typically one to completely plan things through or set up many alternatives, instead instantly deciding which option may prove best or most successful and then doing it. This is not only true in battle, but in other facets of his life; Rika has been known to travel across Hyrule in search of a hidden treasure he heard about briefly on an impulse, leading to a series of conflicts and struggles that had not been thought through in the slightest.

For some seemingly unknown reason, Rika has a strong, deep-rooted fear of Skulltulas. It is severe enough that the presence of Skulltula can induce a powerful petrifying state within Rika, making it difficult for him to move. If the situation is severe enough, the Kokiri can manage to overcome his state and move, but his fighting capabilities are significantly hampered due to the presence of the large spiders. Other, smaller types of spiders cause Rika visible discomfort, but he is still able to fight in such cases, while much larger spiders tend to induce a strong sense of fear and panic in Rika, causing his mind to cloud and not think straight. In these cases, he generally acts rather rashly in an attempt to protect himself and get away, typically not making the best decisions to survive.

    Backstory:

    Show Spoiler
The story begins in Kokiri Village, which is deep in the mystical Kokiri Forest. Rika began with the Great Deku Tree, who created a body upon which he inhabits. For a majority of his life, Rika has lived in the Kokiri Forest, not leaving it's barriers. Most contact he had had before then was with other Kokiri, occasionally Dekus or Koroks, and the Great Deku Tree. However, Rika's life inside the forest wasn't a great one. There are two things that are fairly rare among Kokiri; Or rather, in general, that Rika possesses. One, is Rika's high level of intelligence. Two, is he lacks a fairy. Occasionally Kokiri would get their fairy late, but Rika never got one.

Rika was often teased by other Kokiri for his intelligence or lack of a fairy, or never made any friends because of it. As such, Rika would oftentimes spend his days by himself in the forest. The Great Deku Tree was one of the few that didn't tease or insult him, and essentially the only person that would talk to him longer then they would have to. Of course, considering he could not move, Rika would have to go visit the Great Deku Tree. So, most of the discussions Rika had were with the Great Deku Tree. Rika never showed that it got to him, and just appeared to shrug it off. However, Rika would hurt because of it. It would hurt him.

Rika was alive the instant the Hylian warriors had entered the Kokiri Village. Rika had never seen another creature outside of other Kokiri, Dekus, Koroks, and some wild animals. The Humans were rather amazed at the Kokiri, but it seems it was the same the other way around. At least, Rika was amazed; or rather, intrigued, with them. And perhaps. . . Somewhat terrified. What if they were hostile? Rika could not fight whatsoever, he could die quickly. Surely the Great Deku Tree's magic would protect them, but still. . . There were people that looked similar to them, the Kokiri, except they were taller, and more aged. They seemed to speak with the Great Deku Tree shortly after arriving. The other Kokiri didn't really give Rika a chance to speak to them, even if they had heard him. After all, why would they? The Hylians seemed to leave before Rika got a chance to speak to them. But where did they leave to, or come from? There was an entire world outside of the forest Rika didn't know about. Would there be different types of people, too?

Just in case someone did happen to attack, Rika practiced fighting, and was alright at it. He had somewhat poorly made a pair of daggers out of wood; He wasn't exactly the best at craftsmanship, considering he had never done it before. He would occasionally go out into the woods and practice, mostly against nothing, but if he found a wild bear, wolf, or other type of creature, he would try to convince it to battle with him for practice. Occasionally Rika would encounter a Deku. While perhaps not always, sometimes they would be willing to spar against him. At first, Rika lost unless the Deku wasn't very skilled at all. However, as fights continued Rika got somewhat better, although his fighting style was still rather rough and poor.

At one point, a couple Kokiri decided to follow Rika, noticing he had been wandering into the forest often. They witnessed him sparring against a Deku and winning, before running off before Rika noticed. Of course, they weren't exactly the stealthiest Kokiri, so of course he noticed them. They spread the word around, mostly to the Kokiri who averagely bullied and teased Rika, and for a couple weeks, Rika didn't get bothered. However, after a few brave Kokiri decided to insult him and Rika didn't do anything, the teasing continued. Rika knew the reason why was because they were afraid of them, but them not bothering him because they were afraid wasn't exactly better. Besides, no matter how much assholes they were, they were fairly innocent; The Great Deku Tree wouldn't want him to do something like that.

When Rika was about 50, he had met his first teacher, Muscar Amanita. He was a short Deku Scrub, who was once a skilled warrior but retired to a life of raising his adopted Deku child, who's parents had died. Muscar had a thin black leafy mustache, and was missing an eye as an old battle injury. Muscar was around 55 or so, and was certainly old. Rika had encountered Muscar in the forest, and as per normal, requested a sparring match.

"Oh, hey! Old man, you look strong. Do you wanna have a sparring match?" Rika asked the Deku. "Well, I don't know who you're calling old, but if you wish." Muscar somewhat slowly responded, taking a battle pose. "Alright! Let's- But wait, you don't have a weapon. I shouldn't use one either then." Rika said, dropping both of his daggers. "Commendable, but I'm a highly skilled fighter. You may use them if you wish."

"Nah, whether you're better then me or not, it still wouldn't be fair." Muscar laughed a little in his somewhat deep voice. "Very well. Shall we begin?" Muscar responded. The first part had a little bit of the non-serious laughter, but the latter was piercingly serious, if not so much that it threw Rika off a little. "Y-Yeah. You sure are confident in your abilities." Muscar just stood in one place at first, never taking his eye off Rika. Rika wasn't one to initially make the first move, so he too stood there. However, he was getting impatient, before he rushed towards Muscar in a burst of speed. In an instant, Muscar had completely unbalanced Rika, before knocking him towards the ground. "You were wise to wait with your size. However, impatience is not wise, and is something that has killed many of my comrades. You shouldn't just charge so carelessly into battle, either. You'd be dead if this was a real fight." Muscar said as Rika got up.

"W-Well, I suppose you were right, you're very skilled." Muscar gave Rika a bow, as Rika quickly noticed and bowed back. "If you could, could you. . . Could you teach me anything? Even if it's just simple basics of how to fight!" Rika asked Muscar the question some have been asked, and some haven't: Will you teach me?

Muscar ended up deciding to teach Rika the ways of combat. The first thing that had happened was Muscar created a new pair of daggers for Rika. Unlike the previous ones, the blade was made of iron, and they weren't so poorly made. However, along with this, Rika kept the wooden daggers, as until he was skilled enough, the iron blades were a little too dangerous for sparring. They were dangerous for him to use currently, even. Muscar taught Rika how to fight with numerous weapons; However, Rika was subpar in most of them, mostly due to his meek strength. He was quite effective in the quick and light style of the twin daggers, of course, he was adequate in fighting with a sword, and strangely excellent in fighting with a Scythe. While these weren't the only ones he could use, most weren't effective enough to actually be used in combat, and were mediocre at best.

However, what was strange about this was he was terrible with most other weapons that involved using a pole. Nonetheless, Rika was effective in using these, and Muscar even gave Rika a scythe. However, about seven years after Rika met Muscar, the man passed away in his sleep. Rika had actually had friends, him and his son, but not anymore. Muscar's son decided to leave the forest, to go where, Rika doesn't know.

Nothing much else happened. For a couple months or so, Rika seemed to stop fighting, as if either in respect for his deceased master, or in depression because of his deceased master. However, after a while, Rika went back to the fighting, although less frequently. A large amount of time passed, Rika going from around 60 years old, to around 140. For other species, this would be an entire lifetime, if not sometimes two. He would be a shriveled up old man if he was still alive, but instead he possessed the same child body he had long ago. Why was Rika in the forest anyway? None of the Kokiri seemed to even like him, and would probably be happy if he had left. With his master dead, the only person Rika even knew was the Deku Tree.

Then, he decided; Why not leave? Of course, Rika had no idea of the world beyond; But, he wouldn't if he didn't try, right? Rika went to visit the Great Deku Tree to tell him of his decision. The Great Deku Tree allowed him to leave, but warned Rika that it is dangerous outside of the forest. Rika knew he could take it, and whatever he didn't know, he was determined to go out there and find out. Rika got some supplies ready; His twin daggers, his scythe, food and fresh water. Of course, Rika didn't really know where he was going, but he was determined to find out.

As Rika left the forest, and the trees were suddenly behind him, he was amazed by what he saw. A vast, open field. It was amazing, he had suddenly entered a new world. Rika traveled north-east, walking until he got tired, then resting for a little bit, before continuing. He didn't encounter much trouble, until a problem occurred; Night was coming. Rika had no means of making a fire, or nothing to sleep in. He was all alone in the cold. Generally this was always how it was, but Rika didn't have a bed in his tree to sleep in. He wouldn't give up, and kept travelling overnight. However, eventually he collapsed, possibly from a combination of sleep deprivation and exhaustion.

Luckily for Rika, however, he was discovered by a group of travelers. Of course, they thought he was just a normal kid, and quickly took him to Kakariko Village. Rika quickly woke up, much to the thanks of the travelers. The travelers were actually surprised a little boy was wandering around on his own with such weapons, too. Upon seeing them, Rika screamed in shock. One was tall like the humans he saw, but it was blue, and fish-like! Rika didn't expect things like this, but what would he expect? After that, he started laughing, both in shock, and excitement. He had already learned something new.

Rika had told them he was a Kokiri, but they didn't know what a Kokiri was. He explained he came from the forest, but they still didn't get it. The travelers had explained what a Zora was, and they probably thought he was just an imaginative little boy. Rika managed to convince them, or perhaps they just went along with it anyway. Nonetheless, they brought Rika to Kasuto before leaving. From there, Rika proceeded to Death Mountain, where he met the Gorons! Rika was fairly shocked that there were rock creatures too, but considering a few days ago he had met a humanoid fish, it didn't shock him as much as that did. At first, Rika quickly tried travelling over Death Mountain; However, the task was not easy at all. So much so that Rika had to retreat back to Goron City.

He remained there for several days, with the kindness of (some) Gorons being a large change compared to the Kokiri Forest. However, Rika really had no idea where he was going. A few helpful Gorons helped Rika progress over the mountain, and travel towards Nabooru. There, Rika took his first steps towards becoming a Sorcerer, and figuring out what he's doing. While Rika was in town, he encountered a lady who was thirsty. While she didn't ask, Rika got her a cup of water. She was thankful, and rewarded his kind behavior by introducing him to her grandfather, and Rika's second teacher. Her grandfather actually never told Rika his name in particular, as Rika just referred to him as "Old Man", as he said everyone did. Perhaps that was really his name.

The old man told Rika he could teach him a spell. Rika, of course, wanted to learn. After all, that was what he was out to do. Rika trained with the old man for several days, before Rika finally learned how to harness his magic and learn a spell; Fire. The old man said Rika had an amazing talent for magic, and should seek out an old acquaintance of his if he'd like to learn another spell. The old man gave Rika a map of Hyrule, and along with that, information to find his friend. His friend used to live in Hyrule Castle Town. The old man didn't know if he was still there, and even if so, finding him would be no easy task. However, Rika was given his name; Meclius. It wasn't exactly a common name, so there probably weren't more then two or three people with the name. However, the old man also told Rika something somewhat bad; Between Nabooru and Hyrule Castle-Town was simply open field, it would take a couple days to travel on foot.

And so, Rika borrowed a horse, before riding off towards Hyrule Castle Town. Of course, it wouldn't be a smooth ride. Here, Rika would experience his first real battle. While Rika was travelling to Hyrule Castle Town, when he was about three-fourths the way there, he saw a couple guys on the side of the road. One was on the ground, clenching his foot tightly and in pain. The other seemed panicked. Rika asked the horse to stop, walking over.

"H-Hey, what's wrong?" Rika asked the two. "Oh, someone found us, thank the goddesses! My friend got attacked and broke his leg!" The panicked man said, as he paced back and forth. "The old man in Nabooru gave me a couple bandages, maybe they can help for now." Rika quickly ran towards the horse where his bag was to get out the bandages. Once he found them, Rika spun around, and was met with a fist to the face. The once panicked guy now seemed calm, as he sent Rika to the ground with a well aimed punch. Rika quickly reached to pull out his daggers, but there was a problem; They were in his bag.

Rika had to weapons to fight with, and without a weapon, couldn't use his Fire spell either. The other guy had gotten up, his leg perfectly fine. It was all a show, and they played it marvelously. Rika was outnumbered and had no way of fighting them hardly. They appeared to be unarmed, so they were probably good at hand-to-hand combat. With no way to fight, they got on Rika's horse and rode off towards Castle Town. Rika had to travel the rest of the way on foot. While luckily for him he wasn't attacked, he didn't reach Castle Town until nightfall. Upon entering, he didn't have any money for an inn. However, the innkeepers couldn't turn down a (supposed) child, and let Rika sleep in the inn one night for free.

The next morning, Rika wasn't sure what to do. In the end, however, he decided to wander around Castle Town to get a feel of the place. He found a random tree and got a decently sized stick off it; At least he could use his Fire spell. Looking around as he walked, he took in the place. It was so different compared to Kokiri Village. There were a bunch of people walking down the streets, and a bunch of shops. While Kokiri generally played outside, it was still different when people are walking to and from places like so. Hyrule truly was a vast place, and Rika hadn't even seen much.

As he walked, something very interesting caught his eye. He saw one of the guys that robbed him! "Hey you, give me back my stuff!" He shouted, running towards him. The guy quickly ran off, as Rika chased him. Rika was a bit faster, but the guy also knew the way much much better then Rika, it would be difficult to keep up. Rika quickly swung his stick vertically, a ball of fire swarming and appearing in the center of the swing. It quickly darted forward, slamming into the guy's leg and knocking him down. Rika quickly ran over to him. "I suppose maybe your leg's really broken now! Now tell me where my stuff is!" Rika shouted at the man, who was clenching his hurt and somewhat burnt leg.

"I-I don't know! It was the other guy's idea, I just went along with it!" He said rather quickly. "You know, you may've been a good actor earlier, but you're not a very good liar. Now, I can fire another fireball out of this stick if you'd like." Rika said, pointing the stick at the guy and waving it at him. "A-Alright! I was supposed to meet with the other guy somewhere, he has your stuff! Just don't tell him I told you. . ." And so, the guy told Rika where they were supposed to meet up. Rika went to the destination, and hit the guy with a fireball. Luckily, he had Rika's stuff on him, so Rika took his stuff back. He also informed the guards to arrest them and try to return any other stuff they've stolen.

With his stuff retrieved, Rika threw the stick to the side. It was already getting dark, however. Rika would have to search for Meclius in the morning. He returned to the inn, actually paying for a room this time. He would need to rest well for the morning. The next morning, Rika quickly got up and left the inn. He needed a plan, he wouldn't get anywhere just asking around randomly. Rika came up with an idea. He could walk around and ask some elderly people he saw. And so he did, but for a while, nothing came up.

However, he soon encountered a kind old lady. She had known of him, in fact, she was his wife! However, she informed Rika that her husband, Meclius, had passed away some months ago. Rika was saddened by the news, but nonetheless, had to continue on. Who knows what Meclius could have taught him. Rika remained in Castle Town for about a week before continuing. While he was there he studied the land a little, and got to know it more. It would certainly help with knowing where he was going. Rika decided to go to Lake Hylia, then later to the home of the Zora, Zora's Domain. However, along his travels to it in Hyrule Field, he came across a strange mansion. . .

Rika had been walking for a while, and wanted a break. Rika had already passed Lon Lon Ranch, and was about halfway there to Lake Hylia. Strangely, Rika came upon a mansion randomly placed in Hyrule Field. Hopefully they were generous. Knocking on the door, a skinny guy answered. "Yes?" He said, his voice showing as if all hope had been lost. "U-Um. . . Well, I was just wondering if I could rest here. I've been walking for a while and I'm a little exhausted." Rika said to the man. "I wouldn't recommend it. If you wish, however, you may." He let Rika in. "Don't regret anything." He said before walking off.

Rika looked around. The mansion was actually somewhat nice. Looking around, he saw an open room nearby. Rika figured why not walk in. Looking around, the room was somewhat empty. There was a closet on the side and someone sitting in a chair. In his arms was a spell book. There was a piece of paper sticking out of it that said "Take me." The book slid out of his arms easily, as Rika put it in his bag for later. He wouldn't steal, but it offered it. Opening the closet, there were multiple sets of clothes, but they were all eaten by maggots, except for one. It was a red set of clothes, with a red hat hanging off. It too read "Take me."

And so, Rika decided to take the clothes. Despite the condition of the others, these seemed to be in perfect condition, if not brand new. Rika quickly changed clothes, putting his old standard Kokiri clothing in his bag. Walking out at the door, he looked around. Didn't see anyone. Rika set his bag down at the entrance and walked through the main door beyond the entrance. There were four scrawny guys similar to the one that answered the door carrying trays. They walked back and forth carrying various things to and from a little girl.

She had somewhat long brown hair, and wore a light green dress. Her face seemed white, as she wore a lot of make up. She seemed to be around 11-13 or so, and by her side was a magnificent golden mallet. Clenched around her wrist was the golden Goron Bracelet, amplifying her power. She held the tip of the pole of the mallet in her hand, as she sat in a large golden throne-like chair.

"Wait, who are you? I didn't order any new slaves." She spoke towards Rika as he entered. "Oh. I'm Rika. I was traveling towards Lake Hylia. I got tired and one of the guys let me in to rest. I was just wondering where everyone was." Rika said, but she seemed rather bored of him. "Yeah yeah whatever. Listen here. . . Whatever your name was. Anyway, this is my mansion, Red, and these are my slaves. They shouldn't be letting anyone in, but they let you in. So, that means you should become one of my slaves, Red." She spoke, glaring deeply into him.

"I warned you." The guy who let Rika in said to him, before returning to his duties. "I'm sorry, but I don't wanna be anyone's slave wait did you just call me Red-" Rika was cut off. "Like I said whatever. Anyway Red, it wasn't a choice. Unless you wanna fight over it." She said, spinning her mallet around and letting the pole rest on her shoulder. "Well, if I have to, alright. Just let me get my weapo-" Rika was denied as she quickly jumped up, and ran towards him. She swung, Rika barely ducking under the mallet. He tackled her to the ground, pretty much immobilizing her.

"H-Hey, lemme go! Get off me, Red!" She shouted angrily. "If I do that, you'll hit me with the mallet!" Rika hastily responded, as they both moved as she struggled to get free while he laid on top of her holding her down. Then, it happened. Rika accidentally ended up grabbing one of her boobs with his hand, considering she was moving a lot. Granted, she was pretty much completely flat chested, but nonetheless. "U-Um- I-It was an accident!" Rika quickly shouted. He was a bit stunned by the fact, and she seemed rather angry. The entire situation was suggestive and awkward, really. Rika was on top of a girl and she was struggling, then he groped her. That's how it would appear to a bystander, at least. However, she took this chance to turn them around, making Rika on bottom and her on top. Still not very good, however.

Then, something weird happened. "You think you can just get a quick feel and that's it?! Yeah, well. . ." She said, before. . . Trying to grope Rika. "W-What are you doing stop I didn't mean to this is making me kind of uncomfortable this is really awkward what's wrong with you!" Rika shouted in one run on sentence as he squirmed, trying to get out. She finally managed to grab Rika's chest, and so she got off. . . Then she picked her mallet up and tried to squish him. "Why are you attacking me anyway?" Rika said, with a rather red face. "Why not? You entered my house, Red. And aww, look at your face. You really are Red." She said, somewhat taunting him.

She swung at Rika as he had no way to fight except to dodge, before eventually he managed to grab a fork. Swinging it, he launched out a fireball that hit the girl's mallet. It hit the mallet and knocked it away, but something even better happened. She seemed to become terrified, running off towards the entrance and outside. The slaves quickly thanked Rika. Rika walked back towards the entrance, grabbing his bag. The girl re-appeared, having run back inside. Rika quickly ran out of the mansion and got as far away as he could from that place. Nonetheless, with that ordeal out of the way, Rika continued to Lake Hylia. He took the spell book he had obtained, and took a closer look at it. The title was "Magic: The Ice Spell". He read it a little as he traveled, but reached Lake Hylia before he was even halfway through with the book.

Lake Hylia was really amazing. The sunlight reflecting off the water would be amazing- If it wasn't night time. Still, the moonlight and stars looked even better. With all his travelling and the crazy things that've happened that day, Rika was exhausted though. He found an inn or he didn't even know and passed out. The next few days weren't much in the ways of things. Rika finished reading the spell book and managed to learn the ice spell. He worked on mastering the spell, which was going somewhat smoothly thanks to the excellent explanation the book provided. Rika met some travelers who lent him a Zora Tunic to go to Zora's Domain with them. It was amazing to Rika how Zora could live both on land and underwater rather easily. A lot of Rika's time here was enjoying the bands. Rika could play a few instruments himself; The flute, lyre, and piano.

A couple Zora let him play, even. He was pretty decent, but it had been a while since he had played, so there were quite a few better then him at it. Nonetheless, a couple Zora taught him a little bit about the guitar, and he learned a little bit about playing it. Nothing much really, however. Overall, Rika's time at Lake Hylia was mostly for fun, with nothing serious happening. After his time was up there, Rika headed southeast and eventually reached the town of Mido. Here Rika met someone who shocked him more then anything he had encountered so far. Bird people!

Yes, when Rika arrived in Mido, he met one of the bird people, called Rito. The Rito Rika had met wore green clothes, somewhat similar to Rika's. He was also a Sorcerer, yet focused on Wind Magic, rather then just magic in general like Rika. The two traveled together for a short time. The Rito was headed towards Castle Town, and although Rika had been there some days ago, accompanied him.

While they travelled, the Rito displayed magic Rika wished he could learn. The Rito could teach a spell to him, but some were only for those who classified themselves towards wind abilities, that Rika could not learn. However, as they traveled, Rika did learn one thing; The Wind spell! Eventually, however they reached Castle Town, however, and split up. From there, Rika decided to head back to Death Mountain, then Kakariko. While he was in Kakariko, however, something strange happened. For some reason, a young Wizzrobe girl who kept slurring all her words angrily kicked him into a well and called him Kiwra. But anyway, let's timeskip about 10 years. Rika had just arrived in the desert-y town of Ruto.

"Oh man, that desert is rough! I mean, I've been through it a few times already, but that doesn't really make it any better." Rika sighed. He had started traveling to the town of Ruto early that morning. Luckily, he found some other travelers with a strange machine that drove itself. They were willing to give Rika a ride, cutting down his travel time immensely. Who knows what the strange thing they possessed was, but nonetheless, Rika was thankful they had it. The first thing he did, however, was get some more water. He really didn't get to drink much, as as payment for the traveling, the travelers actually drank most of his water on the way there.

Rika got in a couple gulps, but didn't have a lot of time, as something happened. There was a big BOOM somewhere else in Ruto. In fact, it was near where Rika was, too! He spit out the water he had in his mouth, choking a little in shock. Rika quickly ran out, and ran towards the source of the explosion. It wasn't necessarily hard to find, there were quite a few people there, as they had formed a crowd. Rika was small, so he managed to squeeze through the crowd to get to the front. There was another boom, as a guy came flying out, slamming into a portion of the crowd and knocking a bunch of people over. The guy was somewhat badly injured, and had somewhat black flames coming off parts of his body. This definitely wasn't normal.

Two guys strolled out of the building. They looked like normal looking Hylians, really. One held his hand in the air, and a dark, black ball formed in his hand, unleashing it into the air. It exploded. The crowd quickly went to panic, people trying to flee or otherwise. "Don't worry, civilians, I'll save you!" Something shouted near the front of the crowd. Right after that, a Deku seemed to leap out of the crowd, punching one of the guys in the face. Even though he was a Deku, the somewhat surprise of it still managed to knock him to the ground. Seems he forgot about the other guy.

"Hey, watch out! Damn it." Rika shouted towards the Deku, but it was kind of hard to hear Rika over the crowd. The other guy was about to hit the Deku with one of the dark balls. Holding his palm out, Wind circulated in front of it, before a ball of wind fired out of his palm. It hit the guy, knocking him back and slamming the guy into the wall. The guy had hit his head against the wall, seemingly knocking him unconscious. The other guy didn't like these odds, two versus one. Most of the crowd had run away, leaving a big opening. The other guy grabbed his ally, and a dark energy started forming around his feet. There was another boom, as he zoomed past Rika and the Deku rather quickly. He moved fairly quickly, there's no way they could keep up!

"Oh, well, er, thanks for helpin' me back there, kid. I'm Dante." The Deku said. "Well, no problem. And I'm not a kid, I'm a Kokiri. I'm Rika." Rika responded, if somewhat quickly. "Oh yeah, now I kind of see the resemblance. The red clothes make it kind of hard to tell." Dante said. "Yeah, I get that a lot. . . . W-Wait a minute, this isn't really a time to be talking about this, they're getting away!" Rika shouted. "Well, then again, it's not like we can catch up. . ." Rika sighed. If they were just left alone eventually they could cause some serious damage, but it's not like they could just find them. "Heh, no sweat! I can see 'em, easy." Dante ran off into the same direction they had, but then something cool happened.

A gust of wind unleashed below Dante, sending him flying into the air. "Ah, I see 'em! I'll go after them, try to keep up!" Dante jetted through the air, as Rika had no choice but to proceed on foot. Eventually, Dante landed in front of a cave. Rika eventually managed to catch up, but Dante had been waiting for a little bit. "You could've slowed down, I almost lost you!" Rika said, stopping to take a breath for a moment. "Yeah sorry, but they went in this cave. Let's hurry up and go in." Dante ran into the cave, Rika quickly running after him. He really charged into things.

As they went through the cave, it went underground. There wasn't much there, really. Until they reached some sort of cell. There was an old man shackled to the wall in chains. His eyes opened wide at the sight of Rika and Dante. "S-Someone else is here?!" He said, as if surprised. "W-Well, it's a. . . Nevermind. What are you doing here?" Rika asked. "Oh, well, I was chained here." He responded. "Well yes, that's obvious. That's not exactly what I meant though. Was it those two guys with the dark powers?" The man looked at Rika as he said that. "Yes. Well, kind of. They were just normal Hylian researchers at first. However, they started researching into dark magic. I warned them it was dangerous, but they didn't listen. They took the abilities to their own, however, the darkness possessed them." The old man responded, telling the story.

"That's their fault then. Know anyway to get rid of it, or will we just have to beat it out of 'em?" Dante asked. "That's the thing. Besides death, I don't know of any way to get rid of it." It was really odd. "Well, just sit tight, we're gonna go beat em up and then we'll come back to get you out. They did come through here, right?" The old man told them so.

Rika and Dante proceeded further into the cave, eventually reaching the end. Of course, at the end were the two guys. One was still unconscious, of course. He didn't speak at all, but was making a strange noise. "Hey, you know what's up with that?" Rika said to Dante. "No, it's kind of weird though. I'll stop it, though." Dante said, as if about to charge at him. "Wait Dante!" Rika didn't have enough time, however, as Dante pulled out his Falcata and leaped at the man, swinging as he got near.

A wave of energy unleashed from the man, sending Dante flying back several several feet, and even knocking Rika back somewhat. "Dante!" Rika shouted as the Deku flew back further out of the cave. When the explosion had finished, the man's body was destroyed. However, the unconscious man beside him was perfectly fine. Rika ran back down the cave to find Dante laying on the ground. "That didn't really do much. Pretty weak for dark magic, I suppose." Dante said, getting up. "Yeah, but look. It wrecked his body. I think most of the energy went towards the body itself, and the wave that was unleashed outside was rather weak. If all the energy was in the wave we'd all be dead by now, and the cave would be destroyed. That's probably what he tried, but he couldn't control his own powers."

And so, the two left the cave. Getting the Ruto Guards, the unconscious man was taken into custody, and the old man was freed. Rika and Dante retreated to an inn for now. "Well, not much of an adventure, I suppose. Still, it could've been pretty bad if he could actually use his powers." Rika said to Dante, wiping a bit of dirt off his hat. "Yeah. They weren't so tough though." Rika laughed a little. "You know you just got lucky. But still, their power is weird. Dark magic is pretty dangerous, isn't it?" Another adventure closed, even if it was short. Another five years passed, as something else happened that would effect the entire world. . .

Then, it happened. Ganon began his takeover of Southern Hyrule. Rika was in Northern Hyrule at the time, so it had been a little bit before he had learned of it, around the same time the rest of Northern Hyrule did. Rika didn't know if Kokiri Forest would be okay, but then realized; Of course it would. The Great Deku Tree wouldn't let anything happen. Of course, what could Rika do. Then, five years passed. Ganon had taken over Death Mountain, and Link had entered, but what happened since then no one knows. Rika couldn't help change or alter his events in any way. He was just. . . powerless.

Rika headed off towards the Lost Woods, and there he met someone who would become his best friend. He was met by a group of Deku. They were guarding a small part of the Lost Woods in case somehow Ganon managed to attack. They weren't very aggressive since Rika was a Kokiri, which just made Rika a little angry that he didn't seem like a threat. Nonetheless, Rika didn't have much more to do, so he stayed with the Deku for a few days. One of them was named Skylar. He was about 19 years old or so. Rika spent most of the time there with Skylar. He had made a friend. Rika was there longer then a few days, and eventually it had turned into a week. However, soon Rika had to head back to Castle Town, however. Skylar decided to go with Rika, as the two headed off.

Five years later, Rika and Skylar were still traveling together. Rika had a friend, his best friend. They were traveling around Hyrule Field, towards who knows where. That is, until they found a cave. They weren't one to pass up an adventure, so they entered. As soon as they entered, however, Rika heard a deep, echoing voice in his head. "So I've found you at last." Rika looked around for a second in confusion. "You say somethin', Skylar?" Rika asked confusedly. "Nope, nothing except I bet there's something cool down here." Skylar responded quickly. "Oh, alright. I coulda sworn I heard someone say something. . . " Rika said to himself, thinking. Nonetheless, they proceeded through the cave. It was rather empty, and they progressed down with little problem. However, about 10 minutes through the cave, Rika heard another voice in his head.

"Yes, come closer to me. I can feel you." The comment surprised Rika. "Hey Skylar, you didn't say anything now, did you?" Once again, Skylar said the same. "Nothing at all." Rika thought a little. "You sure? You're not just messing with me or somethin', are you?" Skylar just nodded no. Rika decided to shrug it off as the two continued, eventually reaching the bottom. At the bottom was a body, on the ground, probably dead. Except, it looked like they had just died. "Wait, that must mean someone was just down here. But it was a rather linear path, and we've been walking down here about 30 minutes. . . Someone else is still down here, Skylar." Rika said, causing somewhat of a shocked response from Skylar. "B-But, where would they be?"

"Very cleverly solved, Rika. However, I'm afraid that won't help you much." The voice spoke again in his head, but the voice spoke so loud it hurt Rika's head just to listen. Rika clenched his head in pain, trying to think, but the booming voice was overpowering his thoughts. Rika was starting to get angry. "Rgh. . . Just stop talking and show us where in the hell you are!" He shouted, but the pain in his head stopped. There was no response, as Rika just looked around. "Hey, are you okay, Rika? Should we head back to Castle Town?" Skylar asked. Rika didn't have a chance to respond, as out of the dead body a dark force appeared. It sucked all of the little light they had away, yet still glowed bright enough to light the entire cave up.

"So I'm guessing you're that voice. Just who are you?" Rika asked, as the dark force was silent for a moment. Rika took this chance to look at it. It just seemed like a mass of darkness, it had no real form. He was thinking it over a moment, until it responded. "Yes, that's true. I do not have a form." Rika was shocked at this. It could read his thoughts? "You know me, however, you may not recognize me without a form. Think back, when you met me it was a similar situation. You were with a Deku at the bottom of a cave, and encountered a dark force. The poor Hylian had no idea the power he was dealing with, and in the end he killed himself." The voice said, of which Skylar heard too. "Wait. . . In the desert, so long ago? So you're. . . The dark force that possessed those two Hylians, am I right?"

"Yes, that is correct. Of course, I am stronger now, but alas, I cannot do anything as I lack a physical form. This Hylian was weak minded, so he was easy to possess. However, his body was also weak. In the end, my force ended up destroying him. You, however. . . You're stronger." Rika was shocked at this. It wanted to possess him? It darted at him as Rika narrowly avoided head-on collision. "Damn it, how do you fight a mass of evil. . . Skylar, we have to get out of here! Maybe it can't leave the cave without a physical form!" The Deku nodded as the two ran in reverse, the darkness flying every which way. "You know, you're really inaccurate." Rika said to the darkness, as if trying to provoke it. Of course, it wouldn't work.

This continued momentarily, until the darkness darted towards Rika. He had no time to dodge, it was too fast. He was going to be hit. Skylar took the hit. He had jumped in the way, causing himself to be hit by the dark spirit rather then Rika. Skylar's body fell to the ground, as if lifeless for a few moments. "S-Skylar?" There was no response for a few moments, until the body got up. "Why hello." It spoke, in his normal voice. "Rika." Rika was said in the deep voice that was spoken by the shadow. "This isn't exactly my plans, but I suppose this body works too. I should dispose of you, however. No use letting you get in my way." A dark ball appeared in his hand, as he held his arm back, as if ready to throw it. His arm wouldn't move, however.

"Well, I suppose your old friend Skylar won't let me kill you. He's quite a fighter, you should be proud of him. In due time I'll wear him down, however. Well then, I'm off now, see you later, Rika." He spoke, saying most of the sentence in Skylar's voice, but the final part in the deep voice. Then, he rather swiftly left the cave. What had happened? "Well. . .I don't think coming in this cave was a good idea." Rika said. He couldn't believe it, he had lost his best friend- His only friend, essentially-, once again.

Four or so years later. Rika was still searching for Skylar, but he could be anywhere, really. He hadn't been back to Kokiri Forest in quite a while, as Southern Hyrule was tough to traverse. He headed off towards Moruge Swamp to see if he could find anything. While he was there, Rika saw an Octorock; One that would normally be in Hyrule Field on land, being attacked by river Octorock; The kind that normally live in Moruge Swamp. Rika beat up the river Octorock, saving the land Octorock from further bruises. The Octorock had a strange leaf mustache on his face. Rika talked with the Octorock somewhat, and apparently he had wandered into the swamp, then the other Octorock attacked him for being different. As Rika left, however, the Octorock wanted to go with him. And so, it followed him and they started traveling together.

Skip ahead about a year, if not somewhat less, to present day. Rika is still traveling with Wollo, looking for Skylar. Who knows what will happen, and if he gets caught up in the war. Only one way to find out.

    ------

    Name: Wollo
    Species: Land Octorock
    Age: ~1-2 Years
    Gender: Male
    Appearance:
    Art by Squishy.
His leaf moustache, if shaved, will grow back within a few days.

Personality Wollo isn't very intelligent, and even when speaking to Kokiri cannot talk in full sentences. He often doesn't understand big words, and has a hard time with proper grammar. He doesn't know how to fight, but knows how to fire rocks. Unlike a lot of Octoroks, he isn't very aggressive or mean. He's always out to meeting new friends, and can have his feelings hurt rather easily. He may not be the smartest guy, but he cares about his friends and can make a great buddy. He has the special ability ‘Friend to All’.

Backstory: Wollo was born in Northern Hyrule around the Lost Woods, and mostly spent his time hiding and eating any plants he found. He had a tendency to wander, and ended up wandering into Moruge Swamp. He was attacked by the other type of Octoroks, river Octoroks, because he was a different type. Wollo didn't have any means of fighting back as he was pelted by rocks. Then, he was saved by a boy in red, Rika. Wollo talked to him a little before Rika wandered off. Wollo followed his newly made friend and they'd been tagging together since then.

I have obtained two levels of Magic Power from. . . well nowhere, it's something Rika has had already. To link a specific thread, however, I 'obtained' it here in Lavaclaw, as shown by Rika's reduced spell cooldowns throughout the thread. This costs 60 rupees.

This brings me down to 45 Rupees.
