    Treacherous Tower
    - Arifa, the Great Fairy of Guidance (1/5/4 Great Fairy) [Blonde Panther] Reward: Fairy Fountain.
    - Terentia Fortuna, Gerudo Warrior (4/2/3 Gerudo) [Chaos James] Reward: Transform, Cheval Rope, Ignition Powder
    - Kalvar Darhun, Designated Sniper (3/1/4 Hylian) [Magnere] Reward: Blessed Boots, Summon Ammunition, Ingition Powder, +10 Rupees.

"Eeyah!" Arifa raised her fist above her head so that her arms shielded her face, trying desperately to hold her ground when the five Aeralfos flew by her, screeching at her and jabbing towards her with their javelins. Around her, a strong gale had picked up, strong enough to pick up a grown man and throw him clear across the room. However, despite the floor being littered with holes that would send them falling back all the way down to the bottom floor, Arifa did not fear the winds; she had conjured them up, herself, to protect herself from the incoming monsters.

As the winds died down and the reptilians dispersed, she lowered her arms and took a step back, taking a split second to ensure her robe was still in place. It was- her identity was safe. She looked at her companions, hoping to see if they were both alright. They had served each other well in their journey to the top of the tower, and she knew they were reliable in battle, which was why she felt safe stepping back a little. One of them, the blonde male Kalvar, had been using a bow all tower to keep flying enemies at bay, so he would be the most important in this battle- although the red-haired and tan-skinned Terentia was a force to be reckoned with, as well.

All Arifa had to do was stay calm, stay out of harm's way, and dispel the foul magic emanating from the tower at its source, which she senses just beyond this room. That had been the mission the three of them had agreed to share when they had met just outside the tower, and they were so close now...

They had been climbing the tower for quite a while, and they had just seemed to catch a break when the Aeralfos attacked. Surprised, Kalvar quickly attempted to shoot an arrow at one of the monsters. The flying beasts almost seemed to be laughing at him, as they easily dodged the hastily shot arrow. A scowl appeared on his face, this might be tougher than he thought.

Reaching around to grab another arrow, he realized that he was running low. Kalvar almost cursed, if he ran out of arrows, then he would have to rely on his sword, and he needed the bow to keep himself alive. Without his bow, he was almost useless. The sword was reliable in tight situations, but he felt more comfortable with his bow. He would not be a hinderance to his allies.

Pulling the bow back on his string, strong winds seemed to come from nowhere and attack the monsters. A quick glance had shown him that one of his new allies, Arifa had somehow conjured these winds. They seemed to repel the beasts as they attacked her. He had no idea how she was able to do what she could, but he was thankful for it. Without even waiting for the winds to die down, he let loose one of the arrows at the beast. Zooming through the air, arrow stuck itself in one of the beasts tail. The creature shrieked as Kalvar quickly prepared to shoot yet another.

Terentia stumbled back as one of the Aeralfos crashed into her with a diving shield bash, meeting her lifted shield to off-balance her. Moving her shield aside from the impact, she quickly swung her sword in a wide arc to catch the lunge of a second foe. The second Aeralfos parried her own defensive maneuver and twisted the blade away from her body to make an opening for a third reptile-beast to dive in. Swinging her shield across her body, she deflected the point of the blade as he plummeted towards her chest, but in doing so caught herself off-balance and tumbled to the ground, sliding into one of the many holes that dotted the battlefield.

Letting her sword slip from her hand and fall below into the dark, Terentia used her now free hand to grab onto the ledge and keep herself from following her blade. Pulling herself up and climbing to her feet, she took stock of the situation. Her sword was now goddess-knows how far down, and her quiver had barely any arrows left. Not wanting to risk her other sword, it came down to her shield as she charged forward towards another foe. Their darting about and constant dive attacks made it hard to gain any ground against these foes. Leaping across a hole, Terentia landed and braced her shield to deflect another dive attack, bashing the Aeralfos back and dazed the beast.

Before she could make her own attack though, she was forced to defend a second assault, leaving her first foe to flee to safety and recover. Swearing, the warrior recovered her defensive stance and glanced at her allies in hopes they were fairing better.

The others were struggling to inflict any significant damage on the creatures, and Arifa wished she could have done more with her own magic. The truth was, she was still inexperienced with any battle-suited magic and her Gale Aura was the only spell she could use remotely offensively. At least neither of them was injured for the moment...

One of the beasts came towards her, intelligent enough to see that she was the only unarmed person in the company of the humans and perhaps sensing she was more than just a human. It screamed in victory as at charged her, javelin ready to be thrown at her. "Terentia, Kalvar," Arifa said, her voice carrying over the din of battle although she didn't scream, "Mind your heads!" With that, she leapt forward, infusing her hidden wings with fairy magic to hang still in the air mere inches before crashing into her attacker, and cast the Gale Aura again. The sudden gusts of wind knocked the Aeralfos back, sending it hurtling through the air and colliding with the one that had just recovered from Terentia's diving strike. The two fell to the ground together, and Arifa landed, catching her controlled fall with one hand. She probably hadn't Hovered for too long... right?

She looked around, taking note of the lighting in the room. Like the rest of the tower, it was carved from what appeared to be bluish white marble, and it was lit by a number of torches around the perimeter. However, the constant winds -both from her magic and the Aeralfos' flapping wings- had extinguished several of them, and the lighting had grown dim. This wasn't good- while Terentia might have had the reflexes to respond to an attack at the last possible moment, Kalvar had to see his targets and Arifa had to be able to dodge incoming attacks.

Making herself small to dodge the javelin thrown at her, she put her hands together. Just as she started to chant, another torch went out behind her, strengthening the need for her magic. Finishing her chant, she raised her arm above her head and summoned a small ball of bright light, which she tossed towards the ceiling in the middle of the room. On its way, it terrified several of the Aeralfos, who screeched and interrupted their maneuvres in order to avoid the strange new light. The disruption wouldn't last for long, but WOULD provide an opportunity for the others to attack, and besides, sowing chaos had never been Arifa's plan.

The ball of light hung still in the middle of the room, and she adjusted the brightness so it wasn't as painful on her eyes. She then left the spell there to illuminate the room, just as the last torch went out.

Kalvar was a little surprised when she shot the strange ball of light into the air. In good timing to, all the torches had gone out due to the winds she constantly was blowing around the place. But he was more surprised when she seemingly levitated off the ground. This girl was more powerful than she looked. Making a mental note, he decided to never get on her bad side.

He was suddenly caught off guard as one of the Aeralfos swooped down towards him, holding its long javelin out in front of it. He quickly dropped to the ground as the beast flew right over its head. Running low on arrows was never good, so Instead of using his bow, as he would have liked, he unsheathed his sword and charged at the beast. Holding his sword in one hand, he slashed at the beasts legs. Kalvar felt the sword strike bone as the monster shrieked in pain. With a grim smile, he yanked the sword back out of the beasts wounded flesh. He was about to get another strike in when one of the other Aeralfos attacked.

The beast landed right behind him and pinned him to the ground. With its claws on his shoulders, it leaned down and roared into the Hylian's face. Dumbstruck on what to do, he decided to play dead. He was almost certain that it wouldn't work. Unless one of his allies could save him, he would suffer a brutal injury, or even death.

As suddenly as the beast latched its claws onto him, it released. Kalvar had suddenly disappeared from view, completely invisible. The monster roared in confusion, and looked around for its prey. Obviously angry, both the monsters charged at one of his other allies. Surprised that it worked, Kalvar sprung back to his feet and charged at the retreating beasts. The pain in his shoulders was immense, but that never stopped him from fighting before.

Glancing around to see her allies defending against their own enemies, the Gerudo became aware of the dimming light, but she could see that Arifa was already aware of the approaching problem. As the ball of light lifted into the air, giving them fresh light, Terentia moved to take advantage of the distracted Aeralfos and slid her shield off her arm. Holding it by the arm brace and edge, this afforded her a bit more maneuverability as one of the flying foes turned his attention back to her. The time she had to prepare a counter-attack paid off as her opponent dived towards her sword at the ready, not expecting Terentia to step to the side as she brought the shield across the beast's own shield.

As the Aeralfos fell to the side, stumbling to catch itself from crashing into the ground, the warrior noticed another Aeralfos flying towards her, perhaps to assist his dazed comrade. Seeing Kalvar charging after the beast though, Terentia made the decision to trust the Hylian's skill and hope he could catch it before it reached her as she dropped her shield to the ground and grabbed the shield of the foe she had smacked before. Pulling with a pivot in her step, she swung around and twisted the reptilian man in the air and slammed him into the ground.

Dropping her knee on his struggling chest, she pinned down his sword arm and punched him in the face with her other fist.
