    Name: Evelyn Bagu, or "Eve"

Age: Extremely old, but she's lying about her age, making things even more complicated.

    Gender: Female

    Race: Kokiri

Place of Origin: Kokiri Forest, and the deep abyssal underbrush. (uncharted thick woods to the north-west of Kokiri Forest)

    PWC: 5/1/3

    Treasures & Rupees:
    163 :roop:
Kinstone Pieces: (3) additional pieces Gold Rupee, Red Clover, Green Crown Used up: Green Feather, Red Rupee
    Perks (open)

    Eternal Youth
Eve has lived for such a long time and experienced many things. (often without growing) But many Kokiri are used to their overly consistent and long lifespans. The compounding effects of living long and seeing many terrible things has had irreversible effects on her mentality.

    Fairy Companion
Eve's guardian Tiny Fairy. Rumors say she went off to have adventures on her own. This fairy has been through terrible ups and downs, but her resilience and ability to bounce back is legendary.

    Language of Fauna
Evelyn can talk to animals! This isn't a gift. . . it's a tragedy in the making. Her conversations with monsters are notable, and have defined her adventures with Rika and Julius at times. It's especially important that animal-like monsters are much more likely to be able to speak with her, and most other types are not.

    Deku Nut Supply
Eve picked up this large supply of Deku Nuts on one of her many infamous adventures. She rarely uses them for important things. Not only will they never run out, but she doesn't remember where she picked them up in the first place.

    Treasure (open)

    Transform Ego
Eve "received" this ability from [NAME REDACTED] as a gift. After many toils with this entity, it seems things turned out less awkward for once. In hindsight, Eve owes everything to "that person."

    Hover
This medallion shattered when she wore it, as part of an (ancient?) "curse." Let's not fool ourselves, this was silly back then and is still silly now. She can float over terrain, especially the bad stuff. That is, unless outside forces insist she walks the rough terrain.

    Gilt Glower (untwisted)
Eve's "signature" ability. Her eyes were replaced by magical metallic orbs. She paints Irises on them but it gives her a disheveled cock-eyed appearance like she woke up from a bad night at the Milk Bar. Her stare is unnerving to anyone who doesn't already know her and know that she really isn't a threat or anyone important for that matter.
This Treasure was Twisted once, but it's been reverted to its less dangerous form. Rumors have it that the eyes have a mysterious third form. . . or not.

    Toxic Circulation
A side-effect of being comatose with magical venom in her system for an extended period of time. This is not her "signature" ability but many know her as the person it's least fun to cut open. It's so ridiculously inconvenient to be cut that she rarely has a use for this quirk.

    Power Bracelet
A demonic gift from a horrible cult in the woods. After having her arms Twisted and then Untwisted the golden bracelets have become loose around her skin instead of painfully grafted to her body. They have a curvy design on them but it's nothing descriptively impressive.

    Muscle Band
A treasure plundered from her destructive adventure with Rika Kokiri in the Dark Palace. It was a sort of tiara or diadem mixed up with a number of other valuable looking gold and gems ecclectica. The defining trait of this item is a deep purple circular gem on the middle of the forehead portion. It ebbs with some forgotten power.

Burning Pain Hands (twisted) / Flame Choke
((While her Flame Choke has been Untwisted by the incomprehensible Kaaldira, this is a precautionary note in case said thread does not finish.))

Eve uses her Flame Choke to pin down unruly enemies. Relentless as she is, the Kokiri also needs to prevent certain baddies from hitting her first. It's not a perfect solution but it also clearly illustrates her cruelty. The flames flicker an understated purple. She doesn't use this technique often because it reminds her of the cringe of pain her Twist used to give her.

    Ghastly Doll
Gifted to her at a cheery Harvest Festival, this Ghastly Doll is indispensible. This is Mini-Eve, a well-dressed doll with buttons for eyes. The stitchwork is notably shoddy and visible. It has brown yarn for hair and a neat green dress with a yellow sash around the middle. The doll performs mundane tasks for the Kokiri but often stays snug away inside her Adventure pouch.

    Book of Mudora
This was an unexpected gift Eve got, presumably for being well-behaved. She is horrible at reading, much less translating languages in text form. Its magical abilities to teach her are impeded by her own stupidity. She is likely to deface it with her crayons one of these days.

    Cheval Rope
The ultimate in rope-like utilities. Eve found herself a good amount of Cheval Rope so she could use it to make a lasso. What she plans to do with a big lasso is unknown however.

    Adventure Pouch
This is a big over-the-shoulder satchel which appears even bigger on her small body. It is a tasteful Kokiri-green with black frills on its heart-shaped button-down flap. This is where the magic comes from. All of her tasteless accessories pour out of this pretty much infinite bag.

The bag is well known by her friends as the place a large assortment of crayons come out of, as well as weirder things like blood-collecting equipment. She is not a Phlebotamist but if anyone needed their blood checked for magical ailments, she would be the supplier of those articles. It's extremely likely the medical assortment was stolen from the ruins of Kakariko.

    Harvest Ring(s)
This is an oddity among oddities. The Harvest Ring produces many fake pumpkins. As false and useless items, they are mysteriously helpful. When she opened her letter from the Holiday Moblin, Eve found a second ring which completes the pair as described on the treasure page. She has heretofore never experienced a difference in using them, however. Eve can place a Pumpkin on something that needs to be weighed down, or she can use the pumpkin as a target for magic. Eve is not smart, but with teamwork the Harvest Ring becomes invaluable.

    Magic Power (level 1)
Experiencing a mysterious change in power that resulted from a minor fall injury, Eve has gained Magic Power. She feels something unnatural inside her, and it just seems to erupt in certain effects when she uses magic. Although she does not consider herself a member of a magic class, she still plans to find a use for this.

    Fusion Dance
Thanks to one of the most unpleasant dreams ever, and a generosity unseen from the Holiday Moblin, Eve receives the Fusion Dance. What does it do? Hey let's not think too hard about it. Below will be updated with a detailed or otherwise disturbing description of what she becomes if she fuses with someone. Really hope I don't have to, though.

    Gasha Seed (1)

Splinter Crystal/Ice Gems/Vapor Cloth throwable chain dagger, "Kingfisher"
Eve's current main weapon, a throwing dagger crafted by Hyrule's own Julius Surgate. It has a unique engraving, near the base of the blade on the flat center reads "SMITHSMITHSMITH" in an ancient Hylian alphabet. The blade comes with the name Kingfisher, a reference to a creature that fishes on its own. It compliments the blade's ability to be hung down from its chain and retrieved quickly, a trick that can lure opponents with bait. Its soldier's-knife appearance is also a subtle nod to covert operations that only Julius and Evelyn witnessed.

Desenium (x2) great hammer, "Shooting Star"

This large hammer, taller than the girl as a counterbalance to its head, is made of two large blocks of Desenium. It was skillfully crafted by Guy Denzrita and had much of its design streamlined by Julius Surgate on a blueprint loosely based on an original concept drawn up by Eve herself. It is designed with the purpose of being evolved by further forging, and has some bizarre imagery on its surface. The magical properties of its material allow it to rise and fall in quick strikes, something that greatly improves the utility of such a large weapon. While its intended purpose is unknown, this hammer is treated as a replacement to a below described non-magical hammer that she typically commissions copies for.

    Height: 5'2"

    Weight: 90 lbs.

    Equipment:

    hammer (open)
An otherwise nondescript squared hammer, yet it nearly rivals her own height and has a disheartening head girth. Made of a special alloy, it gives the illusion of gold while being quite sturdy. There's an unsettling engraving on the side. While this hammer was made by an artisan, its design is very familiar to Eve. Although she dropped it into flowing lava in Dodongo's cavern, she will likely make duplicates with her dungeon spoils as collateral. Her speed as a lightweight individual does not lend well to such a cumbersome weapon, and her magical accessories did almost nothing to make a big hammer effective in a duel.

    Dress and Armor (open)

Eve has worn a large number of outfits, and claimed several as her go-to. However, out of necessity in many of her recent battles she has had to settle on one outfit to use and repair as needed. Older adventures would go on to describe a variety of other wearables, the following is what she will continue to have going forward.

Eve has fashioned(with help of course) a long tapestry worth of Gratitude Crystals-woven Golden Armor into a dress. This length was originally a sort of shoddy raiment made out of countless long strips, the tough material already not great for absorbing damage by itself. The Golden Armor drapes over a small metal hoop-skirt and the abdomen is slightly reinforced with a type of subtle brigandine, making the dress puff over her body. Its design incorporates a type of black mesh near the shoulders and neck for mild protection from sharp attacks using long edges. Its only other notable feature is a set of black frills near the hem, a silly poke at gothic designs added onto the blueprint by Eve herself. Above the main material of the dress proper is a purple sash, or "obi" which is solid purple with no additional designs but includes a fold-over and is fully tied behind her in a way that took ages to learn how to do.

Covering other parts of her is a set of translucent gloves and stockings. The black finery is a distancing from the brown gloves she used to wear which were a hallmark of rough activity and an apathetic attitude toward getting her clothes dirty. The design of her gloves allows some unsightly and poorly healed scars to almost be visible. In addition, her Power Bracelets now fit snugly over her gloves. The stockings are also mostly covered by an outrageous pair of boots. This girl rocks overwhelmingly puffed out wool interior ashen brown boots complemented by metal reinforced midsections so that they will outlast long travel. These highly sought-out boots go all the way up to her knees and offer ample protection from the elements.
She used to wear a green dress with a dark-green cowl, accompanied by a goldenrod sash. Her accessories were all much cheaper and of poor quality as they were given to her in her life in Kokiri Forest. Another item of interest is a frilly headdress she sometimes wears, although recently her hair has grown wild and unkempt, and she has little care for affixing accessories to it. Her adventure pouch has several hair accessories in case she changes her mind though.

    Appearance:
    picture (open)
    [IMG][IMG]

Eve has the body of a girl of around 11-12 13 years old. After a long amount of "adventure" and mischief, she now looks slightly older than an average Kokiri. Without the ability to age, that isn't saying much though. Eve's shape is mostly covered up by whatever gown she's wearing, though she knows she is a little out of shape, her musculature was conditoned by many lonely nights in the wilderness hiking and fighting and looking for food. She once had an intense training regimen as well, but those days are mostly over. Her skin has such a ghostly pallor, she looks plain and sickly without makeup. Applying makeup is a daily process when she isn't stuck on the battlefield. In public or even alone she will cake on unsightly amounts of blush and eyeshadow. When she runs out she will use her adventure funds to purchase as much product as possible, to ensure her every day starts with goofy blushed cheeks. A feeble attempt at trying to look like a normal person.

Above a body riddled with unseen blemishes and close-calls, rests her round head. A swirling mess of ominous brown hair flows off her head in a really unpredictable pattern. The hair manages to become a tangled and filthy mess during major excursions, while in a non-hostile environment she can manage to keep it straight for a while. It is typically kept down by her Muscle Band diadem, unless she has a hair accessory on. These days her hair usually clumps up on the side in a wavy pattern. She's excited to try the "princess cut" one day but she knows she will never keep it that way for more than five minutes, braids and all. Below her forehead are her thin, black eyebrows. They reach enough to be expressive but not very far underneath her band.

Eve's face is instantly recognizable. It has gotten her in trouble more than once, because she's usually "responsible" for something. While her features are not too finely tuned to be anything more beautiful than a common girl, she does come off as cute to some. Eve's nose is recognizably round and gives her a hometown appearance. Her mouth is rather ordinary, while her lips are often the only part of her face without make-up. When she grins, the corners of her mouth tend to stretch a bit further than expected. It is in a grin that one can observe a wide gap in the center of her upper teeth. Though she never explains the gap, she once had an encounter in which she irritated a corsair to the point of kicking her straight in the teeth. One front incisor fell from her bleeding mouth to the floor, yet she learned nothing from the experience. Eve has a rather upsetting pair of eyes. A habitual recourse to her metallic eyes is to paint on some unsightly purple irises, mentioned before. While the sclera, the ordinarily white part of the eye, appear to be made of a semi-metallic golden material. It was likely her eyes were a sort of blue or purple before the incident. All of this is surrounded by an unnecessary amount of mascara on the lashes, accentuated by thick and shiny eyeshadow. The rest of her face is caked with the previously mentioned layer of powder, all the way down to her rounded chin. The combination of her pulled-back smile and thick makeup give her an 'unhinged grandma' vibe to her appearance. Her ears remain hidden behind her hair but when it flies back they appear to be small and pointed.

Personality: Eve is like a pot of water, her boiling point is fairly ordinary but her temper can leave serious injury. Once, ages prior, she was a girl with decades worth of patience. Somewhere along the line, all of it ran out. This is especially evident after trying to normalize her life with Julius of the guard. A month of terrible missions and poor living conditions made her run away before she could make tenure. An AWOL notice was probably the least of the crimes she was evading arrest for.

Evelyn has poor judgement skills, she's amused but also apathetic to some of the wrong things. Someone slipping on their doorstep and breaking their hip might make her laugh. A charitable effort to give away her old clothes to the needy will seem too boring for her to partake. She's worked on her attitude over the last ten years, but her attitude toward people has not improved by much. Those unbeholden to societal norms, like Wollo the Octorok, make her show a side of kindness she rarely would with others. With Julius, she even likes to open up and talk about her troubles and find ways to help him. While her condescending nature seems simplistic, her thoughts can sometimes defend inner feelings by making her say things that make her sound less vulnerable. She will spit callous lines at people she likes, masking her inner turmoil.

Evelyn has a habit of being haphazard with her allies as well. Her broad attacks with weapons often get too close for comfort when someone she cares about is near. She lacks compassion, but can really show through in times of need. Someone she wasn't helping for an entire journey may find that she has a change of heart and does them a favor in the end. Her berserk rage comes out when someone hurts her or ruins something she was enjoying. She rages through bad events, and she tries to solve problems with anger when it may not be the correct solution. Her anger doesn't define her though, even though she was once a shambling vagrant with little purpose.

With her closer allies, she will nickname them as to not have to use their actual name or any honorary titles. Some are exceptions to true nicknames, simply getting shortened versions of their name. In fact, some acquaintances she considers less useful may not even get a nickname at all. While those slightly more useful or impressive looking may get a name like "Dishrag." If she thinks someone has accomplished something, they can outgrow their weird names however. She had much worse habits in the first half of her life, she has long outgrown a lot shadier titles for people. That said, she is not very worried about being considered offensive, as there aren't many people she can truly say she likes based on their own merits.

Her morals are all over the place, but she has also outgrown a want for political power. She was never close to having more than just a house anyway, she's not the sort of leader who can get anyone to fight for her. But through her ambitions and misery, she achieves her short-term goals. Meryem of the Gerudo once told her she would be great in the future, but she was probably referring to defeating enemies. Her lack of self-awareness doesn't stop her from defeating foes after all. Using her greed as a reagent, adventurers can get her to help out in dire situations. Eve will often allow a cut of the treasure to those she deems worthy. These days, there's so much treasure in plunder that she can't carry it all anyway.

A free spirit at heart, Eve will delight in piracy and stealing from monsters and the innocent alike. But, her evil is not coordinated in a way that directly impacts Hyrulean society. She's been in the background of major tragedies before, but only to loot and never to help the villains. At times there may be a monster occupation of a village and her desire to take their things will result in civil emancipation. Her actions are not predictable, but they do help more often for some reason. Besides working toward some twisted justice with Julius and Rika, she always ends up setting buildings on fire for some reason. Not for lack of trying not to, of course.

Eve has spent her life seeking a conquest of the land, often something living in her imagination. Her childish notion of what "evil" is has perpetuated with her since the time she left Kokiri Forest. Her measly victories were often just fruitless trades between outlaws and pirates, nothing that could benefit her in the long run. The mystery of why her demeanor is so tilted has gone unsolved, as the events she lived through weren't alone enough to corrupt someone else having been through the same things. Some boxes are best left unopened, as she seems to benefit those clever enough to get her help.

    Likes and dislikes:
Evelyn prefers strong, silent guys to be around. She is annoyed somewhat easily and these companions typically don't go out of their way to set her off. The same can be said of women, though she has an unlucky streak of harsh rivalries with other girls. Adult women can sometimes intimidate her, but she's extremely jealous of women with natural charms. Adversely, class clown types and jokesters set Eve on edge. Actual performance clowns are even worse, and make Eve hyper-aware of make-up in a way that gives her anxiety.

Eve is fascinated with the color gold in an unhealthy way. She will collect gold objects more often than rupees simply because of their appearance, even if she loses out with the monetary value. Eve has also since gone from wearing green to wearing gold, her Golden outfit being a symbol of her "fight against good." This is also paired well with its ability to hinder Light-based attacks. Some consider it a "fight against law" instead but Eve doesn't like to split hairs that far. Evelyn hates the color red in stark contrast to this conflagration of obsessive delusions. She detests it on principle, the color red reminding her of her failures and injuries. The omnipresent reminder of blood hinders her, but this color reminds her of an incident. The day she lost her favorite house was symbolized by someone's red outfit.

Eve loves the smooth leather of her boots, and the way they cradle her feet in times of hardship. She used to wear leather gloves too, but her passion has waned over the years. Getting sand in her boots and clothes reminds her of imperfection, and the will of the universe to stop her from truly winning. Her dislike of sand is not very symbolic though. Hating sand to "represent something" would be very stupid.

In this tale of likes and dislikes, nothing is more prominent than the allure of tea. A hot tea can change Eve's mood to the soft whispers of a rehabilitated Grinch. Someone who hears annoying sounds as classical symphonies. Tea's calming effect, its lavish and refined flavors, its flowery and dainty scent are all things that make Eve feel fancy. Like potpourri for your mouth, Tea also reminds her of cleanliness and sophistication. But milk and cream in her tea is not allowed by any circumstances. Cream specifically feels like a detestable version of milk to her.

Evelyn likes owning land, too. She wants to own all the wastes and destroyed lands of Hyrule. She's written her initials in the sand before, but the winds wipe them up in no time at all. Converse to this, she hates being bossed around and bullied by other Kokiri. Eve has even been bullied by Hylian children before. She feels so shocked when someone bullies her, she can't even fight back. The exception to this is Rika, her acquaintance. When Eve is bullied by Rika, she is more likely to throw a tantrum and stomp the ground. Something she used to do out in the wilds was defeat monsters ganging up on her, and eat their unusual meats over an open fire. She hasn't had to do something like that in a long time, though.

Evelyn likes to power through situations and hardships, and she likes to pretend like she came out on top. Her fiery will and perseverance carry her often through even the most morally grey scenarios. The opposite of this quirk of hers would probably be her distaste for human romance. She doesn't know why other races are attracted to each other and court each other, and she never wants to find out why. She also hides her feelings for others as often as she can. Romance is still just too hard either way. Eve thinks whatever "romance" is, it probably has something to do with Wollo's silky mustache.

Most of all, even next to tea, Eve loves stories. Story books, picture books, stories where someone wins and someone loses. Eve loves bedtime stories where a legendary creature is found or an ugly Moblin is defeated by a sly protagonist. Her head is always filled with pictures of princesses, unicorns, cakes, and knights. These images swirl in her head even as she fights for her life and steals up loot. The pictures dominate her as she does even the most terrible things. It's better though. All of it to her is better than boredom and bland minutia.

Residence: At the current time, Eve moves house to house. Her old residences have all caught fire at one point or another. She's building/built a new house in Darunia, so that she can look to the ports once again. . .

Pet: Alice; Eve's guardian fairy. She has fuzzy wings and a sickly pink color reminiscent of bologna. Once one of the typically annoying fairies that keeps a Kokiri child from getting into trouble. Eve became annoyed with her constant suggestions of where to go and what to do, and corked her neatly into a bottle for the day. Except Eve quickly forgot all about the bottle and the fairy and wandered away from it. It took many months to find the bottle, and Eve was reluctant to actually open it at this point. She did so anyway, as the fairy showed no sign of wanting to leave this time.

When Alice was poured out of the bottle, she seemed also reluctant to get up at first. "Are you even alive?" Eve asked the fairy. Three minutes later it responded.

"They did it, they DID it Eve! Monkeys that can talk, they created labyrinths of stone in the ground for people to explore. They filled them with traps to torture all of the upright races of the earth. With their dextrous, spindly arms and hand-feet, they built every dungeon brick by brick! They came from the sky! All monkeys were born in the air, above the clouds. They looked down on the dome of the earth! When they were done crafting the most complicated buildings, the big and terrible ones like the Great Bay Temple. . . they settled back down in the trees. They watch us even now. The talking monkeys. They want us to suffer! There's massive ones, big ones on the tops of mountains. They're the ones who filled the Moon with cheese! They mine it for energy. . . it fuels them! Their machines, they make coimplicated things like cannons and rails, and even larger machines that ride along rails! The big monkeys. . . they harnessed the raw power of thunder using fermented cheese. They brought clay dolls to life. Out in the sands of the desert, there's a collection buried under the sand. A clay army! Bigger than anyone's ever seen, from 10,ooo years ago. The bananas too! Underneath the soil are monks, not unlike monkeys, they love bananas! Their machines will take over the World of Light! In fact, there's an entire town of talking animals. . . a hippo who poses for artwork! Further, past that place, the Mother and Ch - chILd. Ce nea, the 16th fairy hidden somewhere in the forest. The one they call the Ultimate Corruption. Watch out for her.

Eve wondered if fairies even had the kind of mind you could lose. Apparently they did because Alice never returned to normal. Her coordination fell far below that of an able fairy, she would violently flail and spasm when trying to perform ordinary tasks. Her new version of flying was swirling and hopping around on the ground like an injured moth. Eve resolved to let her go only at safe times, much like how someone walks a dog but doesn't let it run free near the street. Alice now resides in the house at Darunia, but she's been on many adventures already. She claims to know all of the secrets of the world, and will one day go out to adventure again.

    Backstory:
    Chapter 1: The Parasite

It all began on a tired day, in the middle of an already stressful summer. The Great Deku Tree got sick. In his fever, he didn't know what to do with his great powers. He couldn't stop seeing visions of the flames of war and the figure of a tall male Gerudo in black armor. That man, how unfortunate. There was some kind of greenish parasite affecting the Tree's ability to function. He felt inspired by the abject madness of a sickness he didn't understand. That day, the Great Deku Tree produced a rotten batch of Kokiri, all devoid of the friendly and fun spark his other creations had. He gave them either terrible guiding fairies, or no fairy at all. This was his sick punishment to the world, this was his moment of weakness. His revenge.

It didn't last long. His poor-minded batch of Kokiri went into the world and the Tree gradually got better, as if he needed to release toxins from himself. One child was especially sick though, and did not move from her spot. She was wretched in the fetal position, something was wrong. "Oh goodness no." The tree creaked. "Something" was contained in that child. He tried his best to get her up and going like the rest of the Kokiri, unknowing of what was different about her. He gave her a pretty basic name and sent her on her way.

"They will all walk like men one day." the tree noted. "They need eyes and ears to keep them from falling into the darkness." he was pretty full of himself, even though it was his own mistake.

The tree had already bestowed some pretty sub-par fairies to most of those poor kids. He didn't even realize half of them didn't even get one. His methods were a little mysterious, but he also made sure the Tiny Fairies were a bit overprotective. If they didn't have cautious fairies, Kokiri Town could be overrun by Dinolfos again. He couldn't let something like that happen again.
    Chapter 2: Getselle

Eve doubted at this point that she was much of a vital part of the village. But all the while grew a desire to want what they had. Her jealousy grew green as the leaves around her faded. The village was surprised when she showed her face. Some couldn't even remember who she was supposed to be. But somebody noticed her, and in time would mold the foundation for upset.
The years began to pile on as these Kokiri developed, soon others would come into the fold as new batches were made to populate the struggling community. One tall Kokiri grew, about two inches taller than Eve. She stood above Eve in miraculously fabulous clothing. Her confident pose with her hands at her hips, standing tall next to one of the recent toddler Kokiri. Getselle was here to put the pressure on Eve.

"I'm Getselle, this is Bapi." she introduced herself. Eve wasn't very good at talking yet.
"What? No response. What a sad little crumb you are. . ." Getselle tormented.
The toddler was dressed very neatly, her eyes poked up at Eve. Eve's eyes shot to Getselle's face. Getselle was completely decked out in thick lipstick, enormous eyelashes, and her smooth hair was decorated with a monkey-themed pin. Gestelle stomped one of her tall heels into the dirt.
"Well, wrong answer! I'm Getselle and I'm going to be the prettiest, tallest, best girl in town! So bow down right here, right now." Getselle demanded.
The pompous Kokiri tugged on her bright-red belt adorning her bright red outfit. Her smile was threatening if not infectious. Getselle was serious.
"What?! Still not gonna talk. I'm gonna crush that fairy of yours." Getselle snidely protested. She kept the back of her hand in front of her mouth while sneering.
"A-wa-wa-wa! You can't crush me!" Alice wailed as her pink color flickered.
Getselle looked back, she spied the fairy and then looked back down at Evelyn.
"And, what are you going to do about it? Scum! Trash!" Getselle boomed.
"Cum! Rash!" Bapi shouted in mimicry of Getselle.
Eve pulled herself to her feet and looked at Getselle with quaking, watering eyes. How was she going to compete with a tall, pretty, bad bitch like this?
"N-no! P-please don't k-kill my fairy!" she quaked and sobbed. Her brown hair caked down as if it, too was weeping.
Eve grabbed the fairy out of the air and rushed away in a pathetic tumble. She had to do something about this terrible girl. She ran out to the botanical garden, and sat herself down near one of the farmhands.
"Why're ye cryin'?" the farmhand queried in an odd accent. "Name's Kona, you can talk to me." she added.
"I want to b-but." Eve stuttered. "Y-your dialect." she added quickly.
"Not ter hear me talkin'? Yer we bit knackered." she added on. This was going nowhere.
"I-I saw gazelle and she wanted to hurt me and and!" Eve yelled at the farmhand.
Evelyn ran away again, not feeling like she solved anything. That night, she gathered up a whole pile of charcoal and various bugs. She went to her Stump and started to mash away at the beetle husks and charcoal. The next day, she came out that morning with a caked mess of black and red on her face.
"Gazelle... I'm gonna punch ya." Evelyn said to the tall Kokiri.
The group of Kokiri around Getselle laughed loudly in unison. They saw her bumble over and the entire group tripped her to the ground and smeaered her into a mud puddle. Getselle personally bent down and shover her face deeper into the mud.
"Heh heh, good riddance! A worm goes back into the mud!" Getselle cackled.

    Chapter 3: Escape

The girl built a life with the help of others, who she had demanded give her a house as good as any other child's. Her Stump was not filled with much now, aside from assorted things collected to poorly try to show up Getselle at fashion and being snobby. It was an aching pain in her side when she noticed everyone was getting along fine without her. She attempted to fit in by trying out the jobs of others. Everyone she visited not only did better at their jobs, but didn't make failures anywhere near as often as her. After weeks of frustration and painful walking around, she snapped. In almost no time at all, she became bossy and demanding. Unsatisfied, she was now transformed from a worm into someone furious and devious.

She finally fled the village to shout her shortcomings to the sky. It was a perilous idea, as that Tree made it clear the rest of the world was much more dangerous than inside the forest. Her fairy yelled and pleaded at her not to go. With every step she took deeper north, every word that fairy said became less and less effective. Screaming, warbling, and shouting in the weird dialect Kona had. Eve was now officially done with everything. Though she technically had nothing, she did have a whole pile of make-up that she stole from Getselle's house.

For days she wandered the woods, looking for interesting new things to eat. She decided it would be her new home in between visiting the village. Her fairy tried all she could to keep the girl in line. Being less forceful than ever before, she could not convince anything of the girl. Soon she found herself in a bottle next to a tree. She remained in the spot until madness shattered her tiny mind. Alice was no longer part of the equation.

"Mayon, Kona, Getselle, even those two nerdy kids. . ." They aren't gonna miss me. she thought.

Wandering for months, Eve gathered berries and nuts from the forest. She had a crooked hobble to her walk, which caused her to worm around the vast woods in elongated circles. She found various waypoints and landmarks but most of it was no use with her skills. She found a crooked tree marked "Bagu" nailed into it with a rotting sign. Evelyn thought that was a perfect name. She continued in her huge circle until finally one day. . .

She went deep into the forest and found the bottle her fairy was in. Eve couldn't remember how long it was since she left the bottle there. Alice wasn't the fairy she used to be. She could no longer fly straight and spouted nonsense in the rare occasion that she talked. One would hope it was nonsense, at least.

"Where should I go next?" Eve reluctantly asked the traumatized guardian.

"The nightmare is a dream to the nameless slug that wanders across battlefield and the remains of deer and kings. That great essence of the ones that came before us. In the dust of the sands they swirl, waiting. Crumbling, waiting, feeding. The lifetimes it takes to discover such a thing. It was only a hint, but I thought about the riddle. With all three Dragons of Light, it will take just a little more to reach the secret. It's inside you Evelyn, in your Core." the fairy droned.

"Alice, please. You needn't be so vague. I still haven't found Deku Palace, by the way."

Eve strained her legs day after day, making progress through the deep woods and finding small bits of edibles. The gaping void of darkness between the trees called out to her. as she descended paths she began to hear more and more bird calls resembling her name. She imagined a place where she was wanted, needed even. But she imagined too far, and wandered into dangerous territory.

As she slowly pulled her boots from the muddy trail, she was finally spotted. A heinous sentience viewed her from behind a horrifically carved mask. She was struck from behind with a dart and collapsed in the mud.

Eve slowly came to awareness on a stone slab. It was uncomfortably bumpy and cold. She was alone, inside some sort of wicker hut. She spent hours laying there, as she noticed her arms were pulled taught with ropes toward each corner of the slab. Slowly and silently a man, or she assumed it was a man, shuffled in. He was thin and tall in a way that made him look lanky. He wore only a loin decoration covered in colorful feathers, and a disturbing mask. The mask was carved into a sort of face, but with all the features mixed around and highly stylized. The wood grain was dyed with red and resembled some manner of flesh.

The masked man peered into her bright blue eyes from between little holes. She was scared stiff. "Un eth dea guj nir." He finally spoke. She wondered if she had wandered too far. She soon wished she hadn't.

"Abahbahj!" called the man out the door. Soon several others with different masks stepped in very quickly. They heaved a rather large chest into the hut. They snapped the box wide open, the inside popped out into several small shelves loaded with odd equipment. Eve suddenly squealed. Soon after the men began to make noises like laughs but a bit different, more like a hawk call if anything. The one with the twisted face turned to Eve with some sharp objects and jars. One of the masked men, wearing a half-white half-red Owl mask, applied a poison to her mouth and knocked her out. "Oomlat." he said.

Eve woke up as everything in her body ached. The shamans marveled at the rebirth of the girl into their new overseer. They all agreed with each other that she was better than any of them to inherit the Golden Oversight. But she couldn't see if she wanted to, as the ceremony had just ended. They cut the girl from their sacred slab and immediately took her to a fur throne and sat her weak body onto it. They sang their praise to their fair guardian, a deity in their eyes. She couldn't even let out a whimper, she felt exhausted. But the warmth from before pulsed through her body.

Although she was knocked out for the ritual and procedure, Evelyn noticed a few things differently right away. The slab she was postioned on before was dripping with her own blood in the shape of a large magic circle. Around her painful and throbbing wrists were grafted golden shapes, like swirling bracelets around her skin. Last but not least, her eyes had been replaced with something completely different. It seemed like they had outfitted her with some sort of golden magical artifacts in a horrendously painful manner. It was a good thing that one cultist knocked her out first.

For years she sat the throne as a protector of her creators. When it rained, they came to her to make it stop. If the rain didn't stop they would whip her once for every day she had failed to fix the weather. If they starved, she would starve an extra day for each day they couldn't find food. But she had an even more important job.

When a beast attacked their village, or even a vanguard of greedy lizalfos, she was their front line defense while they kept distance. Her eyes saw in a new way, with colors she had never thought existed. Her eyes instilled pain and suffering in the lowliest of beasts. The strength her bracelets gifted her allowed her to toss large rocks at attackers, or even toss them. She loved crushing monsters so much, she attempted to tell the men to make her a weapon with some drawings she made. They fleshed out a makeshift warhammer with saplings and a large rock.

The next night, she pulverized each and every one of them in their sleep.

"Forth I go, a ship I need! Hence with which to do my deeds!" she sang in 'tween a pile of giblets.
    Chapter 4: Unlimited World

Evelyn pushed her way through the forest. Remembering tales from the village -from the nerdier Kokiri like Mayon- she knew there was other magical artifacts like the ones she had gotten here, far out in the reaches of the sea. Now that she was free, her perception of where to go had shifted. Her eyes were a bit out of place though, so she sat down at a clear pond and used some paints from her old captors to draw on more human eyes. The golden orbs now had little purple marks. Close enough. The majesty of where she was headed would far eclipse the dreaded beginnings she had in those woods.

Merely eleven days of backtracking went by this time, before she happened upon an opening between the trees. She had reached something called a field. It was a freeing feeling like none she'd ever felt in her life. The air in this world stirred like a vast vat of soup. Wind combed through her hair and brought a chill to her ears. The next leg of the journey would take much longer.

If the forest and mountains were behind her, Eve thought, then the sea must be somewhere across the field. She didn't know which direction yet, so she had to either look everywhere or find someone who did. She ran off in one direction hoping to find a town. She was a little off, as there was technically a sea in the reverse direction. The other thing she didn't know was that towns even existed on this flat, grassy terrain.

Eve hiked the grassy knolls for three hours. She didn't find much trouble on the knolls. Eve hadn't known what transpired outside of her little closed space of a forest. So it was a mystery what state she would find civilization in. At the top of the next hill she spotted a town at a distance a little further than she just walked. She found herself running much faster than she planned. The resident Poes had awakened at her scent and emerged from the barrow she was descending. They barraged her with the cleansing flames of the forsaken. She ran faster and faster, taking a velocity necessary to outrun the growing array of fire.
Over the knolls was Saria Town. It was hustling and bustling, as a number of critically terrible things had not happened yet. She cautiously made it to the town gate, aching with weariness. The guards noticed her, recognizing the height and mannerisms of a Kokiri immediately since many made their way to this location from a different route. She strolled nonchalantly into the area, being let through even though she was dressed in strange robes from that masked cult. Her goal was to get some directions, so she could continue to the rich seas from the stories. The sun was still in the air, it was the perfect opportunity to ask someone before nightfall.
She made her way to the center of town. There were an ample amount of citizens freely wandering and socializing, even some Kokiri. Wary of how Getselle treated her, she avoided the few Kokiri and even stumbled over some embarrassing drunkards. She spotted someone with a quick eye, probably someone clever.

"You there. Man. Where will I find the nearest port town?" she asked forcefully.

The tall man was curious, but quick witted. He examined something in his hand, and watched the gleam it made in the sun. A similar gleam came off the girl's eyes, curiouser. He revealed a pocketwatch and a compass. He had an answer, but the question was a bit odd.
"You're saying you don't want to go to the shores north of here?" he examined his compass. "The seas west of shore are rough, and much adventure is far east of here. You're probably thinking of Mido or Darunia." he added, slyly.
Evelyn thought to herself, remembering the warnings she heard about mixing up the oceans. But she would need more clear directions, of that much was certain.
"But I must get there. I need clear directions." she considered to the man.
With his more detailed directions, she was ready to go on her first real quest. She looked near and far for a place to spend the night. After a night sleeping in a hay bail, Eve left the town. A small bridge lay over a stream, blocking her way out. The way to the bridge was fairly safe while it was still morning. That was, until she approached the bridge.

She finally reached about the center of the bridge, and nothing was going wrong at all. She sat around the edge to cool off a bit. The sky was pretty clear that day, and a comforting sun warmed her back. She sighed a little at how simple life was now. So simple. When she looked down into the reflection of the water, she began to hallucinate. There was a bright green flash and a burn erupted on the wooden surface not a foot from where she was sitting. Eve jolted up and looked back at the sky. A strange mechanical white-and-blue bird was heading toward her. It began to spew green flashes like rain drops.

She ran around in circles on the bridge as it continued to arraign her with shots like fiery guay droppings. She knew she couldn't escape, this thing wanted her life. She waited until it passed over the bridge again to get a window of time. She began to climb one of the bridge's suspension pylons. The flying object made another arc to aim at her, she climbed faster. It began to spray the pylon with green malice. Eve tried to keep on the side of it as to not get hit. As the object whizzed by, she leapt from the tower onto the thing from above and tackled it into the bridge.

Some form of advanced rocketry continued to tug with it as she struggled to keep it grounded. A thought occurred to her to stop the mechanical monster. She forced the tiny translucent black hatch open. There was a tiny creature inside vaguely resembling a person; a Minish folk. Before he could announce his name or his mission to assassinate her, Eve punched through his skull so that only a bug splatter remained. The bird stopped moving and Eve kicked the entire thing into the river.

"Why would there even be something like that?" she lamented as she made her way to the other side of the bridge. At this point, she was no longer hallucinating. She started her long trip to Kasuto, the next checkpoint on this long exodus. The pace she took was as steady as she could possibly make it. She wasn't going to bother stopping for monsters again, her desire propelled her.

Living in terror out in that wilderness outpost prepared her for a long journey like this. Her weeks long excursion to Kasuto would require she hunt animals and monsters for food. She would also need to use her skills at finding strange and uncomfortable places to sleep. After what felt like a lifetime skirting a treacherous mountain ridge, she saw the gates of Kasuto. Working her way out and having several more bug snacks, Evelyn made her way to Darunia. She wanted to find a way to the sea from there.
The path was more dangerous, she either had to go through dangerous terrain or take a "shortcut" through the Lost Woods. Being used to woodland travel now, she chose the complex path ahead. There were mysterious ruins and strange creatures in there, but she kept determined and exited the other side after a while. She didn't notice the weeks pass by as she was in there, the long travel simply blurred together. That's when she saw the silhouette of Darunia on the horizon. It was a long time coming, but better late than never. She entered the town and looked for a public meeting place.

Eve entered the tavern, shuffling past the bouncer who was too tall to see her by the time she was inside. Eve went to look for somewhere to sit. The bar was the only spot with an open seat, so she hopped right in front of the tender.

"Hahaha. You wanna order some milk little lady? Maybe a pumpkin juice?" the bartender joked with the Kokiri.

"I'll have pumpkin juice guy, milk is suspicious in a place like this." she answered completely seriously.

After some drinking and relaxing, she took a look around the tavern to see who looked like a sea dweller. She asked the bartender if anyone in the tavern had a boat for her to go on. The guy continued wiping a glass and looked at her funny.

"Almost everyone here is part of a crew, but I can tell yeh, don't go near that bunch over there. They're mighty dangerous." he answered with a point over to some surly men with bad teeth. "I know they aren't Bokoblins but they might as well be the way they act."

Eve thanked the bartender and went over to interview sailors. Upon asking sailors about treasure-hunting, many said they simply catch fish. Many of them said there weren't any luxury sailors anymore because of the pirates. With a sigh, Eve went to talk to pirates. She made her case loud and clear to a table of surly buccaneers. They stared in disbelief at this uppity sick-looking child. She flapped her arms around in gesticulation for several minutes as she described the types of riches the sea had to offer in the tales of a nerdy Kokiri's books.

The privateers huddled together with their captain to discuss something. Some hushed whispers went and came, Eve tried her hardest to hear but couldn't pick the sound up without long Hylian ears.

". . . but Captain think of what she'll look like when she's older." one with several missing teeth put forward.

"That's not what I'm interested in. That's not even a Hylian you cretin." began the captain "She sounds like she knows something we don't. Maybe she'll find us the riches we've been after for over a decade."

Acknowledging that she had nowhere else to go, the pirates took Eve aboard their vessel. They left Darunia Town without a hitch and sailed off. Floating aimlessly was how they spent their days, ogling passing cargo ships with their telescope. Eve's purpose on the ship began very simply. The crew would challenge her to card games or other means of passing time. This is because if they challenged her, they were almost certain to always win.

On the seventh day, Eve was abruptly startled during a game of Roll Goal at around noon. "Red Witch off the starboard bough!" a shout resounded from the crow's nest. Eve was quickly informed that they were under attack. She fled topside to see what was happening. A dark shape stood out in front of the sunlight. "Pirates." Eve murmured to herself.

The Captain fishtailed the ship himself, and declared battle on the foe. From the approaching shape came a shrill explosive voice. "YOU WON'T MAKE IT AWAY THIS TIME, TOIL-RAG!" the shriek cut through the air. One of the swabbies wept behind the mast. Eve spotted the enemy Captain on the highest deck with a bullhorn. She commanded her lackey to steer alongside its opposition. The crew, all with deep red hair, began to toss gangplanks across the ships for crossing. The men took this as a cue to cross and ran ahead.

A sharp hook burst through the back of a man near Eve. The female legion on the other side were armed with projectile hooks flung out with chains. A flip of a switch and the chains recoiled and dropped the men to their doom. A simple tug and the hooks tore through and whizzed back to their launchers. The men were startled at the revelation that the pirates had the ranged arms. They stood at a distance, the smarter portion of the group stepping much further back. Heavy grappling hooks towed the ships further together.

The two parties were seemingly in a stalemate. One of the pirates was having trouble, however. Her chain was stuck below the side of the ship no matter how hard she tugged. She began to sweat as she pulled it harder up. With another hard yank the chain shot up, along with a girl. Eve climbed up the side of the ship by having taken a ride on a body. She jabbed the pirate in the gut and sent her reeling into a crate. The whole crew was suddenly distracted, giving the men a chance to board.

The two bands of scoundrels began to clash face-to-face. Eve fled to the upper deck as soon as they started mingling in fray. Thanks to Eve's sporadic thinking, the men were able to clash cutlass with the sneaky tan women. But she had even better ideas. The enemy captain was in her line of sight. The Matriarch stood imposingly with a thin silk side-skirt over loose fitting short pants with Gerudo turret-patterns lining the edges. The bright red of her skirt and blouse made her glow against the sky. She glared at Eve through golden eyelids, and she grunted past pure white lips. The outfit definitely reminded her of someone.

"WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN GET IN MY WAY, GIRL?" she roared at the Kokiri. She sprinted full-force at the girl and slammed a foot into her face. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT PIRATES DO TO LITTLE GIRLS? THEY EAT THEM WITH THEIR TOAST AND JAM." spat the captain at the bleeding face of Eve. A tooth tumbled out onto the deck. Eve convulsed in an attempt to crawl back.

A golden glint distracted the woman for a moment. She hesitated to attack the girl. The bleeding face looked up at her with a simmering and apparent malice. She slowly reached for her saber. What she saw before her was not a child anymore. Eve jolted from the deck and tackled the grown woman. Harnessing the silk skirt, Eve lifted her slowly over her head. The girl stepped one foot at a time toward the aft banister. Several approaching enemies staggered to a halt when they saw their leader in danger. Eve stood inches from the banister, holding the squirming captain high so that everyone could see.

"She's not really going to do it!" a voice shouted sceptically. The pirates inched closer in response.

"Oh?!" Eve yelled, seething with rage. "You don't think I'd actually do it?!"

The pirates all became deathly still in disbelief as Eve heaved a wailing grunt. The struggling captain began to shout. "YOU COWARD! YOU PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW! IF YOU THROW ME, I WILL COME BACK TO HAUNT YOU EVEN MORE DANGEROUS THAN BEFORE! YOU HAVEN'T HEARD THE LAST OF CAPTAIN SWAGMIRE!"

Eve flopped her into the air like a bag of sausages and she tumbled into the dark water. Without their leader in the midst of a struggle, the panicking sea bandits began to frantically ask what to do next. Most of the hate harbored toward the rival ship was the captain's. Eve yelled to the lower deck to raise anchor. The men watched as the ship sped away with their casualties, and looked awkwardly at the abandoned women on their side.
Chapter 5: You Can't Choose Your Enemies

As their new captain, Eve took inventory of every valuable. Deeming the lot of it insufficient, she led the crew all over the sea for year after year. Accumulation was no difficult feat for someone who would not age. She remained mostly weaponless, until one day.

Without much knowledge of fencing, Eve presented her crew with a commission. A smashing weapon like the one from the forest, but with luxury and style. The crew pointed her to a chart, which quickly brought them to a small quiet cabin on a lonely isle. On the inside the cabin looked much bigger, weapons of high class adorned every inch of the walls. The man at his leisure was from a long line of master smithies. She presented him with untold treasures and gave him a drawing. For months he fashioned the steel with the various metals she had given him. He smelted, hammered, and shaped a large instrument of bludgeoning. Once it was polished and engraved, he sent a towering signal of smoke. The ship arrived and Eve examined the gilded mallet. He assured her that it may very well take a thousand years to break. She took this as a challenge and floated off.

The magic of desire brought Eve to many corners of the ocean. She was ruthless in command, demanding to press onward at every hurdle. The crew did not want to catch smart to her plan, as it was the cruelest thing they could think of. They feigned ignorance that one day the ageless girl would outlast them and watch them turn to dust. She had brought them to the greatest wealth of feast and pleasure the world had to offer. They admired her for never keeping a grudge like their previous captain so often would strike. Her greed and lust for gold commanded a desire in the whole crew to forget hatred and milk the world of its riches with an efficiency only a child's vigor could keep up with.

Ages caught Eve away from her life at sea. The ship was forgotten to time. She had gone mad in an attempt to adapt to land life. She awoke one day bleeding violently from her nose. She was in a bed somewhere. Her chest hurt badly, she found it had been bandaged. It turned out she was attacked quite easily on the road since she was alone. Her unconscious self and belongings were hauled off by a wagon that chased the monsters off. A crooked old doctor in thick rippled glasses sat nearby. The doctor told her to leave as soon as she felt better, due to a recent rat infestation.

"Where am I?" she asked with a bewildered tone of doubt.

She was told it was a doctor's office. "What else would it be?" the doctor jested.

"No, I dinnae' where this is. I can't remember who I am. I remember the smell of the sea?" she began to panic. The attack had knocked a large portion of her memory away from her. While she had her belongings, she felt like a child again. No clue could help her now. Her insane wandering had cost her ages merriment and value of life. The Hyrule she would have known, the vast free ocean, it was all gone now. Even the forest was a maddening blur to her. She remembered a monstrous tree. Degu was it called? Maybe Bagu, it sounded like a good name.

She was adopted by a new family, born again to a somewhat generous household. But even after slowly fitting in, she couldn't bare it. Every day she saw her reflection in the mirror she began to catch on. She was plagued by delusions and nightmares. Echoing and booming voices spoke to her, told her she was different. Their poetry sang her to sleep as she cried tears as salty as the sea from eyes of fear. She slowly but steadily began to see the gold on her flesh, to notice she wasn't a little Hylian girl. No matter how many times the Hylian parents called her a child of the gods, she would continue to believe less and less. Her ears were not as long as those of other children. She never grew as tall as they did. The voices got louder, a golden glow arraigned her senses. Every time people would criticize the crayons she picked for drawings, every time she lifted something too heavy with ease. She noticed more and more that she was from another world, another era. The mallet next to the hearth pounded into her mind, its weird markings trying to tell her something. She stripped naked one night and counted all of her scars. There were many more than the day she awoke on the cot. The purple scar tissue sang her a song of forgotten time. Stories of the fairy folk of the wood echoed out of her mind's eye.

Her parents shot foam from their mouths and tremored on the floor. Eve continued to eat the meal in peace as they flopped around. Hearing something echoing in her mind, it was something like her real voice. She did what the voice told her, she'd laced their meals. The toxin was slow but powerful, it kept them writhing on the floor for hours. Eve thanked them for the nice clothes they had gotten her but nothing more. She took the most spectacular dress she could find out of her wardrobe, the sort of dress with ribbons that she had for special occasions. Dressed like Christmas-Fucking-Eve, she abandoned the house with her only valuables. She still didn't know who she was, but she knew she wasn't who they wanted her to be. She would be prepared this time, the monsters of the field would be no problem. She sought the experience of combat.

Eve declared war on the land, she wanted a place to call hers once and for all. While the oppression of Ganon was on the rise again, it merely helped her. She would spar with minions daily and take their scarce spoils. Her life consisted of gathering stolen objects and finding or buying food. Her nights were spent peacefully in makeshift treehouses before waking to a new hunt. One day she finally remembered to check her map. Ages prior she had marked the location of her riches from a lifetime at sea. The map had never left her, as it was embroidered on a scroll of fine cloth. The map had been a decent way to learn the local land when she was being raised as a Hylian. But now she had deciphered its true purpose. When she found her fortune in a cavern untouched, she new it was her first step toward ruling the land. With some adult help, a castle town official achieved her the land and schematics for a grand mansion.

But what the official could not understand was why Eve had chosen to put her house deep in the woods. Time flew as she waited gleefully for her perfect home. Hired service provided her with everything she needed. She had a library of all her favorite stories and many she had never heard of. By threatening the inhabitants of the woods, she came in grip of more servants. Business Scrubs tended to her every need. Some days she would return to the house to brag in the dining hall about her conquests of Ganon's footsoldiers. Nobody dared criticize her choice of makeup, though it got more frivolous and bizarre every day. Her eyes were surrounded with dark mascara and eyeliner. Her face, overdone with powder and blush.

Eve had set up a chair in the library to be her throne. Her cruelty never faded, her will for power continued. But this was as far as she could get. A house and servants, lots of clothes, it was all very simple. Eventually she even bought clothes in colors she disliked, which she would throw in the closets with the rest. While her strength and delusions progressed, Hyrule began to fall to ruin. The Hero blazed a fierce campaign through the most vile of palaces. He stopped Ganon this time, reclaiming the Golden Power and fixing the land.

The mansion was now much harder to keep running, as Eve had to threaten every worker. Servants who were once receiving pay were no longer worth Eve's dwindling funds. She struggled to keep her dream alive. A chef of hers was missing an arm at this point, but her tyranny would not be shaken. But one day all of that changed.

A boy came to her mansion. He was feeling careless that day. He worked his way past the doorman without questioning his fear. He strode in for a rest from his hard day in the field. The boy grabbed some new clothing from the endless closet to change. He was not a thief at heart but he took the red robe's situation next to moth-infested rags as an invitation to ownership. From her throne Eve watched as the boy made his way up the stairs to ask for a room. Quicker to snap than ever before, she started a fight with him. She had not noticed he was as ageless as her, nor that he was a magician. After a discomforting scuffle he managed to escape, but not before flinging some fire around. Still fuming, Eve did not pay notice to her mansion burning slowly to the ground. Everything she had worked to keep sacred had been leveled before her eyes.

Eve's fury had finally peaked, it was now more then ever before that she was unquellably mad. She wanted payment. No, more than that she wanted a greatness she never before had. She would get her revenge on everyone who had made her feel different, everyone as a whole. Although she conveniently forgot that red-cloaked Kokiri, something that would save him a lot of grief. It was fine, because any more of that mansion life and Eve's greatest enemy would be obesity. She dug through the ashes and uncorked her bottled fairy. The fairy was in no better condition than ever. While she had left it with her buried treasure, she had a feeling leaving the fairy alone wouldn't matter much anymore. But this was different, she was about to face the whole world alone. The fairy perched on her shoulder. Eve swore to teach her only friend to fly again. The fairy responded with "In seconds the sun is beating like drums in all hearts eat the ear of noise. The man-faced birds have created the sky cities."

Time flowed like a rapid river, Eve wandered the land furious and detached. Her dress began to wear itself out, her fury too much for any article. Hatchets sandwiched against Bokoblins' faces between her mallet. Hope degraded as she moved from village to village, field to field. She knew from ages untold how to feed herself with the demise of others. Nobody could tell her who she was, she could never know who she was supposed to be. All of it would have to be destined to be unintelligible until due time. Her fairy spoke words of madness into her screaming heart.

Eve slaughtered the good and evil alike in the forests and roads. She crushed the bones of bandits under the weight of unrest. The life of a thousand years cut short the lives of the unaware. While times were supposed to be good, the Golden Era began to fade. Eve was already opting to consume the flesh of the fallen creatures and cut out the middle-man. She wandered the desert in green tatters, hoping to understand more about her life. The world seemed to grow with every year. She struggled to understand the cure of her rage.

Soon came the end of the age of prosperity. All that was good began to wither, as the breath of monsters was blown anew. The chains of binding had shattered and Ganon was back. His war upheaved the land in protest of restraint. As revenge for being taken out of the picture, the King of Evil called forth a war to obscure all before it. His armies would shatter the otherwise brief age of peace, filling the world with his soldiers and spies.

The wandering brigand Eve tore through battalions of the undead. Her steady hand pierced the weak of courage with an unholy flame. She watched over the end of times with unfeeling eyes. She was known as a green storm to those who lived to tell of her aimless ambushes. She survived by a thin string by avoiding archers, which she had never been prepared to face. Her aid was called upon to oppose Ganon, but those she joined often found themselves without protection. Eventually her smile returned, something sparked joy in her when a fight was to be had. To find treasure and power would make it all worthwhile. It would make up for that awful house she lost as well.

Humanity fled into exile, fires seared their crops, explosions leveled their barns. In the wake of aftermath, Eve stood a blinding golden light before the hand of Ganon. Her hunger for death grew, and she snapped the clubs of those with the gall to oppose. Stalfos climbed from the sands, sleeping Peahats gained new energy and followed. Moblins pounded the earth with their mighty feet, but Eve remained alive. To the latest day she continues to watch in envy of those with purpose. However, Civilization bounced back. She would have to learn to coexist with Hyrule's people sooner or later. The aberrant nonsense that would happen next would become the real story.

Eve still scares me to this day. Anyways, seems fine to me, and I'm glad you included some history before the cannon history of HC, due to Eve's age. I didn't see anything that would break cannon either, so, as far as I'm concerned, this passes.

I have rewritten almost the whole page, though large chunks of the backstory had to stay mostly the same for consistency. It should go up 1-2 minutes after I make this post in case you are reading this early.

    Some major details include
    • A revamping of the weird likes and dislikes chart into a series of paragraphs.
    • Brief descriptions of most of her treasures and gear.
    • Major "personality" overhaul. Like Major. The original's details never made it into roleplay and a lot of how she acts now is heavily based on her life lessons from interacting with Rika and Julius.
    • Most importantly a minor de-cringe-ification of this monster's backstory. This was especially difficult because of how much of the writing was needed to even explain what happened. I had a bad habit of using dark and edgy Soul Calibur style writing to describe things that, honestly had nothing in common with that style of writing or could be described in a way that was more readable without fire-and-brimstone metaphors. Some of it is still in there but I focused on adding details like Evelyn hallucinating or making actions based on delusions. I also got rid of some of the unnecessary colored text.
    • There's also a new chapter about her being bullied by another Kokiri, this person is mentioned in my threads so I felt it necessary to elaborate.

(This is one down and two or three more to go for rewrites, I'll probably do Billy Hopkins next.)
Things I left out included a chapter describing her character development with her thread partners, and also another chapter dedicated to the pirate captain's revenge. It was just too long already to bother adding such meaningless things. I might just link her threads in my signatures one day if I want that extra context.

Eve spends 10 rupees at Gustav's Great Goods and trades her lumps of Desenium(2) for a new weapon (soon to be described) forged by the talented Guy Denzrita, who shares great taste in weapon design.

In an acrobatic feat of raw courage, Eve brings Ruairi through the dreaded Temple of Courage and beats some suspicious crab thing. This nets her (40 + 10) 50 rupees for her growing stash. Ruairi did most of the work.
