Cyrus stands at just a little over five foot tall, five foot two inches to be exact, and weights right at one hundred and twenty pounds. He is a highly athletic boy, and his physique clearly reflects that. He has piercing blue eyes and short blueish grey hair. Aside from his gauntlets Cyrus doesn't wear any armor to speak of so that he doesn't weigh himself down when he needs to make a quick escape.

    Personality:

Cyrus is your typical teenager. He is highly overconfident in his own skills in regards to both his stealth skills and his combat abilities. While his master had tried to reign in Cyrus' overconfidence during training, kids always think that they know better than everyone else. Even with his cocky attitude he is still a child and fears the more monsterous races such as Lizalfos, Moblins, and the like. Of all of the monster races Cyrus is scared of Moblins the most due to his encounter with them at such a young age. He often gets himself in over his head when choosing where to steal from and which fights to take on.

    Background:

Cyrus grew up in the town of Darunia, but never had any interest in becoming a miner. He would often slip out of town and wander around in the Lost Woods. While he had heard about the dangers within the Lost Woods, he didn't pay any mind to the warnings. One day while running through the woods he came across a band of Moblins that had just finished killing a traveling merchant and his escorts. They were busy rummaging through the merchants belongings otherwise they would have noticed the young Hylian boy much sooner than they had. Instead of noticing Cyrus the moment he rushed out they instead only managed to catch sight of him as he turned to run away. In his panic to escape the Moblins the young Hylian took a wrong turn causing him to run deeper into the woods instead of out of them.

In his panic to escape from the Moblins he failed to hear a voice yell out to him to stop where he was. Even as tired as he was Cyrus continued to run forward to escape from the Moblins chasing him. Out of nowhere the young boy would find himself pushed into a tree and a blade to his throat. He didn't know what was going on his heart was racing and he had no idea where he was. It wasn't until he realized that the Hylian was yelling at him that he came to realize where he was. He had stumbled upon one of the many thieves hideouts within the woods.

Slowly he would begin to calm down and regain some sembalence of sanity, the words of the Hylian that now had him captive becoming clear.

"What are you doing here? Who sent you?"

With a gulp Cyrus would respond to the man. "Nno one ssent me. I I was rrrunning ffrom some Moblins."

The Hylian would look around slowly before turning back towards the kid. "What Moblins boy? There are none around here."

While Cyrus had a head start he hadn't expected that he would somehow manage to lose the Moblins. His blue eyes would look deeply into the eyes of his captor. "I ppromise. Moblins were cchasing me."

Shaking his head the he would look around once more. "It doesn't matter. Even if that was true, I can't let you leave here. You've found our hideout, and we can't let someone who isn't one of us leave here knowing it's location." The man would readjust his grip on his sword and let out a sigh. He didn't really want to kill a child. If he actually out ran a group of Moblins he does have potential. With a sigh the man would stand up and walk away from the boy. "You have two options. Have me train you to be a thief, or die. I'm sorry those are the only options that are open." While he hated giving such options to a child, he had no choice. If he let him leave alive he would be forfieting his own life.

Cyrus would start to scoot away from the man once he let him go until he caught his eyes once more and realized that he wouldn't be able to escape from this man. He didn't want to die either. Guess that made his choice obvious. "Train me." He did his best to speak up and push as much fear from his voice as possible.

A smile would spread over the mans face as he walked towards the boy once more. "Smart choice." Reaching out he would pull the boy to his feet once he took his hand. With that decision Cyrus would start his training to become a theif. The next year was spent with some general basic training. His courage. The way he moved. How to fight. Above all his loyalty. All of these were trained, and after passing a test to proves his loyalty Cyrus was finally allowed to return home. Allowed to return to his parents.

Now would come the hard part of his training. Sneaking out of the village to resume his training. With his parents paying even more attention to him than ever before it would be much harder for him to get out of the village to keep training. The year he had spent away from home had done him well through, and getting out of the village proved to be an easy task. After a few more years of sneaking away to train Cyrus finally decided to leave home so that he wouldn't worry his parents any longer. He was barely an adolescent, but there was no way that his parents could stop him. All that was left for them was a note on his bed the morning after he left.

The next five years were spent doing a mix of training and stealing from unaware travelers within the Lost Woods. After some hard training and some very long years it was finally time for his final test. The man that had caught him and trained him had tasked him with sneaking into mansion in Castle Town and stealing something, anything that was worth something, and getting out without getting caught.Cyrus took a day to prepare what he would need and to scout out the building. It wasn't quite enough time to form a proper plan, but it didn't matter. He wanted to pass his test and so, as the sun went down on the day after he was told about his final test he made his way over the gate to the mansion.

After a few close calls and a very long night Cyrus made his way back to the Lost Woods and his mentor.

"Well?" Asked the Hylian that taught him everything he knew.

Holding up his hand he would hold a pouch out to his mentor who gave him a rather disapproving stare. With a smile Cyrus would open the pouch and turn it upside down causing rupees of varying colors to start pouring out. In total it was easily over one hundred pure rupees that he had snagged from the mansion, along with the adventure pouch.

With a laugh his master would pat his apprentice on the shoulder. "You passed with flying colors for sure." Reaching into his pocket his master would present Cyrus with a plain silver ring. "With this you will become an even better thief. While wearing it you won't make any sound as you move. You will be a silent as the night. This is your reward for passing the final test."

Taking the ring from his master he would placing it on his right hand and tap his foot on the ground silently. A smile would spread over his face as he looked to his master and then to the rupees. "So what are we going to buy with these?"

His master would only laugh once more. "What do you mean we? This test is to pay me back for all the time I spent training you. Anything you steal from here on out you no longer have to split with me either. It is yours and yours alone. So go on. Get out of here, and don't let me hear the gaurds talking about you."

While he wasn't too happy about losing out of his first large score, there was nothing he could do. After all his master had spared his life, and even taught him what was going to be his way of life. Even if it was a life of crime.
