How did Meryem find a kinstone piece? Good question. It fell into her pocket just like a key fell onto her hair.
Guy doesn't remember getting a piece but to be fair he doesn't remember where he got that peahat from either.
Does Pooky count? He found one in the grass and just forgot to scream about it.
Tent found one in the grass while looking for that pressure switch.
Hanno probably found one in the river he dove into.
Bragi found one in the guts of the Big Manhandla that ate him.
