As Julius took care of the annoying flying pricks, Billy blindly went on ahead. He wasn't going to prove himself an adventurer by just standing around. He did still consider himself more of a barber still, however.

He noticed the insufferable squeaking of Keese and prepared to sacrifice himself in the rocky hell tunnel that was before him. He couldn't help but notice how featureless this area was. With his Nightvision he was able to see the squeakers. His light body ran up the wall and swung at one of them. Its wing just barely made it into the range of the swing, sending its twitching appendage to spasm on the floor.

He was glad to be of use, as he could see pretty well in the tunnel and his partner could not. The second Keese swooped down at him in his moment of victory. Billy was knocked to the floor. It was his luck that there were two of the things in here. He spat a Deku Nut at it as he rolled back over. It squealed and flew to the floor. That was. . . a close shave.

Of what little Billy could see in the tunnel, the bend only continued down the way. It seemed like they'd have to round it entirely in order to see what was ahead. The feeling was ominous, as this tunnel was only accessible because of the cave-in before. Something deadly could be in there. Billy became nervous, moreso than before.
