What are the specifics of the computer that would be perfect for you. You don't need to be specific, you can just say "A PC that will run games at optimal speeds," or you can get all technical and list graphic chip manufacturer and core processor info and the such and such.

I could list mine, put I have the traits of my perfect computer spread out amongst two computers (A Windows Vista laptop, and a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X Snowleopard)

I must have missed where it said that. So could an admin/mod move this topic to the Serious Discussion forum?

Sure. Also my perfect computer would have to be at least 4.0 Ghz(with overclocking and water-cooling system to make it stable), 8 GB DDR3 RAM, 2 or 3 5970s (graphics card) and around 64 GB or so Solid State main drive and a backup terrabyte drive. That oughta do it. Oh and an amazing case too :D Sure it's all gonna be pricey as heck, but I'll feel so 1337 once I finally do get it... Now where to get the 4k or so dollars.

Jesus, unless you're a video editor, you're pretty much putting most of that rig to waste.

No one needs 8GB RAM or more than two graphics cards.

I don't like overclocking, no matter how good your cooling is it will cut down the lifespan of it, either that or give you a heck of an electric bill from all the cooling implementation. -_-

Personally I just want a simple 4 GB of RAM 64 bit processor preferably dual core 2.0 Ghz or higher. As for a hard drive, just a small one whatever I have lying around. I keep all my files on my TB external. I would also want it to be a laptop, I'd have a docking station for it at home with a big 17" screen and a wireless mouse and keyboard connected to it. Then just unplug it when I leave and take it with me.
