The Great Escape

"On the contrary Talshin, I'll be taking escort by you two. Coming through this field in the first place roughed me up enough as it is. Needless to say I wouldn't have much of a future if I stayed in that town, I look like an orphan. Now if you'll excuse me for a second."

Lucia turned as a harmless Guay fluttered by and dropped something. She bent over to to retrieve the cards. She rejoined the group in short skip over.

"These look pretty valuable, the note says we have a chance at a prize if we send in some of our own rupees." She handed a card to each of the Scrubs. "Not that I entirely trust this offer, but I don't have enough to even pay for an entry." Then she pulled from her pocket a blue rupee.

Olias skimmed over the card, reading it quickly. As such, he seemed to miss any mention of the Business Scrub Association, which was probably for the best anyways. "Hm, well this certainly seems interesting." He said to himself, rummaging through his pouches for a few extra rupees he may have had on hand. "Ten rupees was it?" He asked himself, pulling out the exact amount. He handed Lucia a blue rupee to match her own. "You did help us get out, after all" Olias shrugged. Pulling out an envelop and a pen from who knows where, Olias stuffed the card into the letter, along with the rupees, making sure to put his name and address on the card.

Luckily for the group of three, since it was so early in the morning, a postman was already heading towards Hyrule Castle Town. Otherwise, who knows how long it would have taken them to send rupees to the lottery. "Hello there!" The postman yelled out, waving to the two Dekus and the Kokiri. "Hello." Olias replied happily. Sealing the envelope, he handed his letter to the postman.


"Anything else for me?" The postman asked Olias' two companions.

Lucia blushed for a moment. "Thank you sir." she managed to say after a moment. The Kokiri had already retrieved her charcoal from her pocket, and begun to fill out the postcard. "Also this, sir." She then handed the card to the strangely-dressed postman. "What of you, Talshin? Will you enter as well?"

With the envelopes collected, the postman was off, running with his strange backpack, and hat, towards the city gates. It still seemed like the guards were having difficulty opening the gates, as was shown by the postman knocking on the door, but not being able to get in. Olias shrugged and continued walking.
