Stopping a bombing [closed]

That filthy-
Idris cursed when Harena kneed him in the groin and the face. It took him a moment to collect himself, his face still throbbing from the hit. At least his nose wasn't broken, as far as he could tell. By the time he was up and running Harena had already escaped. He knew there was no way he would be able to catch up with her, and besides, there was still the gunpowder.

He turned around and ran downstairs, back through the kitchen and to the ballroom. On the way there he alerted the guards of the Gerudo and bumped into his youngest sister, Arianna.

"Arianna!" He gasped in surprise. Idris gripped her by the shoulder and talked quickly. "Get mother, father and our sisters and get them out. I can't explain now, just get them out of here and go home right now."

Arianna stared at him with wide eyes, wondering if he had gone mad. "What's wrong? Is something going to happen?"

"I don't know for sure yet. But I will find out soon enough. Just promise me you'll get everyone out and home safely."

Now what? Idris asked himself. His sister would get his family out of here, but that didn't solve the problem at hand. He decided to go back to the hallway were he first saw the flecks of gunpowder, maybe there were other clues. On the way there he came across some guards and alerted them of a Gerudo with probably bad intentions being on the grounds, and before the guards could ask him for more details he had sprinted off again.

That part of the mansion was still as empty as before. Instead of going up the stairs again, Idris decided to head down the other way, to what looked like the servant's hallways since there were much less decorated and dark. Eventually he came upon a hatch, which probably led to either a basement or a coal-storage.

'Now...to open this door...'

The lock was easily frozen and smashed with his heel, Idris found, and soon he was in the basement of the mansion. Somewhere in the distance was a hissing sound. Almost like a... fuse?

'What?!'

Idris ran towards the sound, lighting his surroundings with a spark spell, and came upon a large heap covered by a sheet. He ripped the sheet of and gasped in surprise as he saw the powder keg that had been hidden underneath it.
A fuse was sticking out, having nearly burnt up. He quickly used his ice spell on it, freezing the flame in place before breaking off the piece of rope and making sure there were no second fuses.
After tossing the fuse away and freezing the keg for good measure, he heard something above him, people chatting, a lound sound and then suddenly nothing. 'Is that her?' Idris crept towards the hatch that led into the garden, carefully prying it open and looking into the garden for the Gerudo.

Soon he spotted her, just as she tossed a body into a hedge.

"You! I won't let you get away with thi-"

Just as he loaded a thunder spell and gave chase to her into the streets, the mansion behind him exploded and he was knocked to the ground.

It was three days later when Idris woke up. The first thing he noticed was that he was in an absurd amount of pain, feeling as if someone had been stomping on his face for hours on end. The second thing he noticed was that his mother was sitting next to him, joined by his eldest sister, Isobel.

"Wh-"
"No no no, stay down!" Isobel gently pushed him back when he tried to sit up. "The doctors said you'd better not move yet. You've taken quite a beating, what on earth did you do?"
"Saving everyone's asses." Idris huffed.

His mother and sister shared a concerned look.

"Well, you know..." His mother started.
"The mansion exploded anyway. More than half of the guests, including the host are dead. And what's more, you were the first suspect. Father had to pull quite some strings to keep you out of trouble and I'm afraid he isn't going to talk to you anytime soon." Isobel stated. "Someone saw you running, and then they found you after the explosion. You looked quite horrible actually, with a broken nose and all."

Their mother excused herself and left the room. It was very quiet for a moment, until Isobel spoke up again. "Please be honest. Did you do it? As some sick experiment or something?"
"What do you think? Of course I didn't. It was that damned Gerudo! Only she got away and- OW!" Idris had sat up, but was beginning to regret it quickly and sank back into the pillows.

A little more than a week later saw Idris back on his feet, although he was still feeling a little sore. But he had already planned his next trip, and was now in town to buy supplies with Isobel, who had insisted on coming with him, fearing her little brother might fall over or cause another disaster when left alone. His parents were actually glad to see him leave town for a while, maybe things would calm down while he was gone, they'd even given him money to buy his supplies, 50 rupees. Apparently they really wanted him gone for a while, especially his father. Luckily Idris had already found his destination.

While bedridden, Idris had read about a life-giving spell, which had something to do with water. Already he had done his research and picked a place where he could most likely find it.
But before he could set off he had to endure this shopping trip with his sister and get his much-needed supplies.

"Wh- wh- wha-" Idris stammered, nailed to the spot. What the hell had just happened?

Then suddenly he broke out in a terrible rage. "GET BACK HERE! I'LL SKIN YOU AND RIP YOU TO PIECES!" He tried to run after the Gerudo and hit her with a few of his most painful spells, but there were a lot of people out and about that blocked his way, and him screaming didn't make things any easier, in fact, it only drew more attention to him.

At the edge of the plaza he had lost her, and he stood there, completely seething, when Isobel caught up with him, trying her best to hide her laughing. Her little brother, kissed by from what she judged by his reaction was not someone he knew very well or liked. The scene had been way too funny. Her little, awkard brother being kissed, but especially his bright red head and enraged expression. This was something Idris was never going to hear the end of.

"I take it that was her? ...I really do wonder what you've been doing back in that mansion to be honest."
