Quill vs. Squishy

A lone Darknut lumbered into the thoroughly destroyed arena, looking around searchingly as if to see if anything had managed to survive. Nothing moved, however, which meant that they would be able to hear him from wherever their souls had gone. He spoke, but his words fell flat, and he coughed into his hand once and tried again. This time the sound of his voice reverberated throughout the mountains, booming everywhere and causing an avalanche to tip far in the distance.

"This fight is over," he began slowly, surveying the carnage, "and the verdict has arrived. The combatants receive exactly what they strove for: death. Knowing your surroundings is as important as knowing to fight in the arena, so I render the decision now. This match is a tie, and rupees will be redistributed as such. Locke fought the stronger fight, but his lack of perception caused his death."

The Darknut shifted uncomfortably and paused, finally turning to face the invisible camera directly. "Oh and, next time, restrain yourself a bit. Unless you have their express permission, try not to do too many things before you give them a chance to respond; it chokes their actions. That applies to the both of you." Nodding once, the armored figure stepped through a portal that appeared from thin air and vanished, the arena world collapsing behind him.
