While most Picori carries things like sewing needles for protection, Powa has an actual short sword that he stole from a Hylian guard.

Appearance:



Powa stands at about three fourths of an inch tall and weights roughly one sixteenth of a pound. When he dons his gnat hat he grows to stand two foot eight inches tall and weighs about fifty pounds. Powa wears a black tunic with a light purple vest and pants. He has a white tail with a black tip, black hair, black fingernails and black toenails.

Personality:

Powa has always been mischievous. Playing pranks instead of being helpful. The polar opposite of the rest of the Picori. Eventually he moved on from pranks to stealing from the big races for fun. He finds joy in stealing, and also thinks its fun. He doesn't think about the impact his actions could have on those he steals from and thinks only of his own fun.

Background:

Powa was born in Darunia among a small clan of picori that lived in the different houses of the city. Growing up he was taught to do nice things to help the bigs that let them live safely, but Powa always found it boring. He didn't find any joy in seeing how happy the bigs were after finding a few extra rupees under the bed and the like.

So eventually he started to play pranks on the bigs. Small things like moving utensils from one drawer to another, or moving their rupees from one chest or pot to another and watching them panic. He found their reactions completely hilarious. Of course no one else did. Not the bigs. Not his fellow Picori. Only he found it funny to watch such large creature scramble around looking for something.

He was told to stop playing pranks and to be helpful by the Picori Elder, but he didn't listen and continued on with his playful pranks. He didn't understand what the problem was. All the others helped them, so why couldn't he just play with them how he wanted. They found their joy their way and he found his joy his way.

As the years went by the rest of the Picori had continued to grow more and more frustrated with him, not that Powa cared. Then one day a stranger showed up in town and scared everyone. Everyone except for Powa. He found the look of the man interesting, but more than that he had never met a big that could move around so quietly before.

Upon seeing his excitement the Picori Elder, with a heavy heart, told Powa he was to leave Darunia. That he was banished. Powa tried to argue with the elder but there was no changing his mind. He knew that they hadn't liked his pranks, but to banish him over them? That was a little extreme. Still he had no choice. He left, heading into the Lost Woods.

When night fell Powa snuck into the Elder Picori's room and stabbed him in the throat and took his gnat hat and the clans bunny hood. They had the bunny hood to ensure that the elder could escape should the need ever arrive, but it had never been worn even once. Putting on the bunny hood, Powa would zip through to the guards barracks and put on the gnat hat over his bunny hood. Now that he was bigger he would take one of the sleeping guards short swords and put it on his hip before taking off the gnat hat and zipping back outside.

That was when he spotted the new, strange looking big running around town while watching the guards. Did he really think he was being sneaky? Laughing Powa would rush to the house that the stranger was staying in. Using his gnat hat he would jump through the open window of the room the stranger was staying in. Taking off his gnat hat he would wait for the big to return.

Once the new big was back he would take a few rupees from his pocket before revealing himself to him. After a brief conversation, him revealing the rupees, and giving them back the two of them would head off into the lost woods. From having no one to having each other wasn't so bad. He could teach the big how to be really stealthy, while the big could teach him how to use the sword he just stole. The two of them eventually moved from the Lost Woods to Castle town and began stealing from the rich people there.
