    Height: Approx. 6'5

    Weight: Approx. 374 lbs.

Equipment: His defensive measures consist of largely replaced standard issue plate armor; having had his former suit replaced a while after the initial assault on Southern Hyrule. His plate armor has numerous dents and scratches in it still though; having been attacked by numerous bands of thieves, stalfos, moblins, et cetera. His helm and greaves though are still relatively new, not having taken much damage in the time he's had them. Of course, underneath his breastplate exists a chain shirt, and underneath that is a long sleeved cotton shirt. While his armor is mostly a complete set, he is missing several components he deemed uncomfortable or otherwise impractical for himself to wear; often being reprimanded by his peers for dressing out of line. One such example of this is his left plate bracer being replaced by his Family Heirloom. Along with his plate armor, he's procured a special shield capable of reflecting even the most potent spells back at the caster; dubbed Hrognor by a close friend of his. The shield itself appears as a normal heater shield; the only visible difference being that the surface is extremely well polished, looking as if to have a mirror installed there. It also has the Royal Family's crest etched into the surface, signifying this as such a gift. In addition to Hrognor though, he also has a family heirloom that's been with his family for many generations, procured by his great-great-great-great-grandfather when first coming to Hyrule; originally obtained as a payoff for a gambling debt and since then passed down from male-to-male of his family's lineage. The bracelet shines very intensely, looking to be made from copper or perhaps some other similar material. In the center of the bracelet appears to be a jewel resembling an amethyst; the jewel looking to be a very dark shade of purple.

As for his offensive measures, he has a simple flail with a single studded ball attached to a chain, which is then attached to a small wooden handle. He also possesses a somewhat worn longsword; the very same he used against Ganon's forces all that time ago. The sword is beginning to chip and rust however, primarily due to age though poor maintenance altogether is partially to blame.

Appearance: Julius is bit very heavily, towering over many other Hylians, and weighing more than most as well. He has soft blue eyes that go well with his dark blond hair. His face is rather masculine, having a cleft chin, as well as being decorated with a bit of stubble. One noticeable thing is that he appears to be going a tad blind in one eye -- an injury sustained from Ganon's initial push on Hyrule, however, furthering this injury is that there's a rather large, noticeable scar going from the bridge of his nose just to the end of his eye. His hair is kept short because of his active military life; though, even if he weren't a member of the Castle Guard he'd have it kept short anyways. As for the rest of his body, there are numerous scars from his lengthy service that bulge amongst his thick muscles, which compliment his frame splendidly.

Personality: Julius has very narrow interests, those among the few he actually enjoys being helping at Lon Lon Ranch, at least before being promoted. He used to find the populous there enjoyable, friendly people, being easy to talk to, as well as all the fun fighting off those who'd attempt to raid the oh-so valuable milk they'd be transporting. Now, however, due to his high rank those who were once his friends have now become slightly afraid of him, often responding with lines that those who were fresh recruits would give. Now, he spends his off time simply training, wondering what could have been, as opposed to being stuck behind miles of red tape. However, one thing that will never change, no matter his rank or position, is his deathly fear of arachnids or otherwise monstrous creatures. Julius has a deathly fear of those that can kill virtually painlessly and silently; almost always keeping his eye out for whatever scorpions or spiders may creep into his quarters. Another deathly fear of his is forever continuing water, or rather, what may lie beneath the currents. His monumental fear of the briny depths started by the mere mention of a sea serpent twice the size of the entire castle town coasting along the bottom of the seas; simply looking for it's next meal. Or, perhaps, it is not this that causes his fear, rather, the notion of his life ending, and the last thing he may -- or may not -- see being a creature of indescribable horrors. Though, through all of this, he strives to help people, still; believing that no matter how indisputably evil someone may claim to be, that there is still at least an ounce of good within their being. He also believes that every man should be their own person; though, knowing, that in this time of war nothing is more important than the chain of command, understanding that with one disobedient individual the entire operation or push may fall apart; even worse, there being a gap in even such a mundane thing as patrols to allow more dangerous monsters into this once safe country. While he still retains his original adventuring spirit, hoping, one day, to get out there as his own person to simply explore the world around them; simply to get to acquire further understanding of the world around them, that which they barely know anything of as it is. Though, his spirit has been worn down since those foregone days of his original inauguration into the Hyrulean Military, primarily by the formal balls and other such nonsense that people of his rank are oft times expected, occasionally even required to attend, though the miles of red tape and strict orders are also something to blame. He's not necessarily arrogant; far from it, in fact, often times handing out whatever spare pay he may have to those Gorons in the former Market District; hoping for it to be enough for those who he gets to to be able to afford something to fill their bellies with, if only for a single night. While usually uninterested in the topic of Ganon's forces, he takes a large interest in Ganon himself. This interest borders on obsessive; wanting to eventually locate the Demon King and challenge him, even if he costs him his life. One particular interest he takes in Ganon's forces though are Dark Nuts: those fighters who have long since mastered the art of martial combat. He respects such creatures, showing quite a bit of passion for war and battle, as he does. Julius stays within the military at the prospect of battle and combat, hoping, one day, to meet a worthy opponent to have his life ended by, as he grows old and tired, knowing that the eventual encounter with the Demon King as he so wishes for, has a very low chance of actually occurring.

Residence: He still uses the quarters he was assigned as a recruit; being modestly decorated with only one dresser, a bed, and a small lock box at the foot of his bed. His dresser serves the usual function of storing clothes for use while off duty; dressing somewhat modestly, not having more than a few shirts (of which one will always be gone; being arrayed beneath his armor, as to not become too uncomfortable with his chain mail and his hot, heavy plate mail pressing onto his skin), along with three pairs of trousers. He rarely dresses up; only dressing for those balls which he is required to attend. He keeps especially valuable trinkets or clothes in his lock box, knowing that if he leaves them unguarded that they are likely to be stolen. His bed is usually messily made; Julius being unable to be bothered to make it perfect, or anything resembling neatness, really.

Pet: > implying he has any time for pets

Backstory: Julius had a rather uneventful childhood; not differing too much from what you'd expect of a hylian child. Though, he often stood taller than his schoolmates and often weighed more than them as well, causing them to often call him hurtful names, things like "Yeti" or "Monster", causing him to more often than not regret going to school. Eventually though, they all at one point or another matured and ceased the rambunctious name calling, seeing him as he was, and that was no different than the rest of them. He eventually became good friends with most of them, not too long before leaving school and enrolling within the Guard.

His first few years of the military were rather uneventful; simply being a rank-and-file recruit, often tasked with guarding whatever shipments they'd be sending from the Ranch to Castle Town; even though this was before the Invasion of The Demon King, there were still thieves and bandits about, praying to successfully procure some of the milk, hoping to sell it on the black market to simply get whatever money they could, or perhaps to finally be able to get a taste of it themselves. This is when his friendship with those who resided there began; even his fellow countrymen were stationed there, though they were more often than not simple recruits who were given the most seemingly mundane yet invaluable task of guarding Castle Town's precious milk supply. See now, Lon Lon Milk plays a very vital role in Castle Town's economy; all the sorts of cheeses, butters, not to mention all the baked goods, would suddenly be gone. This would cause a huge upset and no doubt a depression in Castle Town's economy; all because a single shipment of milk didn't make it.

Although there was originally little chance of advancement within this position, there was one thing his superiors weren't think about: Ganon's Invasion. See, originally he thought he'd waste away here, hoping to see a chance at real action, eventually, silently praying every day that something along those general lines would happen. And hell, what do you know. The first few months after Ganon's fleets had arisen from seemingly nowhere, a repositioning of troops had occurred; those mostly at off-duties such as Lon Lon Ranch had been reposition to stave off Ganon's fleets from advancement. While a few soldiers were left behind, everyone for the most part got transferred out of the Ranch, Julius being shipped out with the few of his comrades who'd actually attempted communication with him. It was understandable though, since he did have a rather intimidating appearance; at first even scaring off some of the ranch hands, before they'd learned they'd be working with him. He had to leave most every woman on the farm behind though; the men of the farm being drafted as well.

For most part, the protection of Southern Hyrule failed spectacularly, it is here where Julius had his moments of glory, thirsting for combat since being stationed at the ranch. For a while, things in the war seemed to be going well for the Hylian Militia; that is, until a push from Ganon utterly annihilated the Hylian presence in Southern Hyrule. Julius just barely escaped with his life; having been assaulted by numerous Stalfos and Moblins at the same time; not even to mention the archers that were pinned down on their location. Luckily though, they had archers of their own, and Julius, being the bloodthirsty deviant that he was, easily dispatched the first few Moblins that withstood his might. This was when his battalion had heard the sound of a trumpet or some other similar instrument; the legions that they had previously worn down to the brink of exhaustion being replenished by droves and droves of peons, the overall assault on the battalion becoming too much too withstand; their archers being overcome by stress and weariness, the forces of Ganon seemingly needing no rest, as those who got sloppy enough to be killed being nearly instantly replaced by units who were twice their strength. Their archers got sloppy, leaving gaping holes in their defense, and those holes were filled by the ranks of Ganon.

A Moblin archer eventually got a lucky shot off on Julius, scratching just passed his eye, causing him to temporarily lose vision on his left side, but this didn't stop him. Nothing could, as he was carrying the entire battalion by this point, but damn was it tiring fighting off so many of the damned things, especially considering that there was no period for rest because they simply kept coming. While there seemed to be no end to the vicious bloodshed in sight, there was suddenly yet another blare of horn in the distance, the Hylian ranks being replenished as new soldiers came; well equipped, and most importantly, well rested. The fresh blood came onto the battle field, distracting the attention from the fallen and weary,
