Cool! That Lore button at the top-left corner is where you can find the histories. That thing I just linked you to is the main background for Hyrule, but the Lore page has a bunch of links to individual parts of Hyrule. You don't have to read them all, but for areas your characters will be starting from or in, it's definitely recommended.

I've actually got to go- Ribs'll step in and help show you around while I'm gone. He's another staffer, and he's really cool, so don't worry. See you later! :)

Figured I might supply you with some links, just for easy access.

The next step is probably to read our thread about Character Creation and get an idea of what you might want to do for a character. Coupled with that, we also let people equip their characters with neat items and abilities we refer to as treasures, and you can get some right when you make your character. You can find information about those treasures here and about our quest system, once you start RPing... here!

Hopefully it's not horribly overwhelming, but if you have any questions then you need but ask :)
