    Kalvar Darhun (3/1/5) - Navigation (-30r) + Bee Badge (-5r) + Kinstone Piece (-2r) + 13r
    Natto (4/1/3) - Launching Arm (-50r) + Bee Badge (-5r from profile)

The sun was just beginning to rise, the orange rays reflecting off the surface of the lake. It was quite a beautiful sight too if Kalvar had to be honest with himself. The lake waters were crystal clear, the little village children playing in the waters around him. It was all in all an enjoyable sight, a break from the long journey. His bare feet rested within the cold water, his boots pulled up aside on the shore as he let the cold soothe his aching feet. It had been a while since he had stopped to rest, and this lovely village was as good as it got.

However, there was one thing that just felt foreboding about the entire place. Nobody was talking about it, in fact, they almost refused to whenever he mentioned it. The children all looked at him with wide eyes of fear, almost as if they had been told never to talk about it. While idyllic from an outside look, they were all terrified of something. That big, massive husk of a tree sitting on an island dead center in the middle of the beautiful lake.

"Is that where we are going, Master Kalvar?" Wind Fairy spoke up, the wind gems glowing with each syllable. Her bow form was sitting beside him on the shore, and he simply nodded his head as he looked out across the water.

The dead tree stood looming across the water, the literal shadow wasn't large enough to cover the village, but the metaphorical one certainly did. There was something dangerous about that tree, something little kids were told to fear. The bartenders speaking in hushed tones about the stranger in town questioning about the tree, the housewives pulling their children inside as he walked past. Were they scared of him because he was going to the tree? Honestly, he didn't know. He took a few seconds before finally responding.

    "Yes."

"You are normally a bit more vocal than this. Something is the matter." She spoke just as bluntly, causing Kalvar to roll his eyes a bit.

"Just concerned, mostly. These people are living in fear. It's Northen Hyrule, and yet it feels just like I'm back in the caves. Everyone just goes about their day, pretending nothing is wrong."
"Then, what are we waiting for?"

"Nothing," Kalvar replies, standing up to his feet and shaking off the water for a few seconds as he walked back closer towards the shore. He could swim there, but it was admittedly quite a respectable distance. He had rented a simple boat from a local fisherman, who clearly didn't realize Kalvar intended to do a little more than just bow-fishing as he had claimed. It was off to the side of where he stood, a little canoe.

And yet, he felt hesitant despite his words. Whatever was going on inside that tree no doubt had dozens of evil beasts, spirits, monsters, and who knows what other manner of foul creatures living inside of it. It was a danger, that was no doubt about it. But if he could put to rest the darkness within, perhaps the village would finally be free to genuinely be happy. Or at least, so he hoped.

The Fairy of the Winds, not to be ignored, was quick to shift its entire wooden bow form into that of a pure white house-cat with startling green emerald like gems for its eyes and nose, she waddled over towards the boat and simply climbed in, awaiting their journey.

However, the archer's attention was suddenly drawn away by a commotion behind him. In the village center, a Deku Scrub was simply walking through. He couldn't help but raise his eyebrows a little bit at the sight of them. Another adventurer? The last Deku had met was quite competent in battle, was this one similar? If they were heading to the same place, perhaps it was best to greet them. Unsure exactly what to do, and not primarily the best social being, he simply waved a hand to urge them over towards him. Hopefully, they understood, otherwise he was going to be quite perplexed how to even start a conversation.

Natto walked into the little lake side town, he club put away and her shield hanging on her rough pack. She doesn't know how towns were about walking around with weapons at the ready so she thought it better to play it safe. The reason she ended up coming here was cause she was flying over head with her leaf, thinking aloud to herself that she needed a place to start her adventuring proper when this lake caught her eye, and the foreboding looking island In the middle of it. That'll do.

She came here to ask about the place but people were already rushing into their homes before she even entered town, and those that saw here wither doubled down on their efforts or looked at her bemused. people murmured not bothering to keep their voices down but Natto either didn't seem to notice or didn't care about it. "Hello!" She said to the crowd, "Does anyone know what's up with that tree?" Natto pointed towards the lake, and just like that everyone dispersed. "Well that was weird." She glanced around the area noticing the man waving her over down on the shore and hurried over. "Hey there tall, blond, and Hylian. You need something?" She asked with joke in her voice, trying to keep things light.
