Even before the humanoid pig was lit like a bonfire, Blyss began to react to the dinfols breathing fire. As a vampire with a weakness to fire, she trained an instinct to dodge flames in effective ways. She pushed off the ground to move to the right side of the moblin. Jagon fired his arrow, while she began her leap, causing the moblin to fly dangerously close, with a stray ember landing on on her cloak, which she ripped off to avoid any chance of fire as she saw the glow.

" Good thing that wasn't too hard to remove. And what a waste of blood. Then again, the taste of Moblin never really suited me. Hylians are so much better than mage-heads and pigmen. Though I never tasted the likes of you before. Mind if I have a bite?" she bared her blood-stained teeth. " A meal like you would satisfy me for weeks!"

She held out her hand as a small keese appeared and fluttered quickly to Jagon's face, while Blyss decided to back off for the time being, with a small problem. The sprinting Blyss had done damaged the muscles in her legs more than she could have guessed. " Damn... I need to learn my limits... My legs are actually starting hurt. I guess acrobatics here will be out of the question.. Should've kept my running to something that didn't stress out my muscles so much. That jump there just about did it though. Another trick like that and those muscles'll probably snap," she said quietly with a faint grimace. "You are such an idiot, don't you know to conserve your strength for the big battles?"

Nicholas faultered as he began to charge as some Hylian man run up beside him. The man first spoke to him, but Nicholas ignored the man, instead snaking his hand into the pouch on his left hip. What a fool, I had their leader where I needed him. He soon noticed Jenni show up as well as the foolish man was yelling threats to the enemy troops. I wish she wasn't hear just now either, damn it. With that, Nicholas popped the seed he held in his hand into his mouth, chewing on the green and sour tasting seed.

As Jagon lifted his bow, Nicholas could see it aimed by him, and quickly pulled his right foot from the stir-up and pulled it close to the saddle as he lifted himself, then quickly swung to his left, removing his other foot and diving to the right as the arrow turned in midair and thundered towards Jenni. He could feel the displacement of air created by the huge arrow, and a tug at his shoulder made him realize it had caught on his jacket, tearing it from his spaulder. This is quite the powerful seed, I've never felt so quick, Nicholas thought as he crashed into the ground, using his body to protect Jenni from the impact as best he could as he tumbled forward before stumbling to his knees.

The Darknut, now brandishing a flaming sword, leapt high into the air and unleashed a hurricane of flames, prompting Nicholas to leap to his feet and run forward, half dragging and half carrying Jenni with him as he dove away from the flames. The heat seared by his back, he could feel the metal of the armor chestpeice he wore heat up, but he had luckily narrowly escaped the flames real danger. Scrambling to his feet again, he smiled to Jenni, trying to remain calm as he snatched another seed from his pouch and held it in his right hand as he stood and turned towards Jagon's direction, charging in an arc to avoid the remnants of the flames as he drew his sword with his left hand, attempting a wide horizontal slash if he could get close enough before Jagon reacted.

For some reason though, he had a feeling Jagon would be quick enough to prepare for the attack before Nicholas, with the effects of the Pegasus Seed helping him, could reach him.

Ignis mulled over the information the Kokiri had given him. While the Deku didn't really want to get caught up in a fight that wasn't his, he also knew this meant Impa would be swarming with Hyrule Guard and Soldiers. Unfortunately this was bad news for Ignis. With a sigh, he turned to offer his assistance to the childlike character in front of him, thinking one so small would need some serious help. It was at this moment though that two scouts, Aeralfos to be exact, flew overhead. Ignis readied his staff as he heard the Kokiri whisper something about a drizzle. It took but single look at Rika's hand for the Deku realize what he had planned for the scout. Ignis jumped back, and watched as the Kokiri coolly dispatch one of the Aeralfos. The Deku was shocked by the Kokiri. For one so small, the childlike being showed remarkable skill.

As if nothing had happened, the Kokiri turned back and continued to talk. He mentioned something about a Nicholas and a Jagon, with the former appearing to be a member of the defenders, while the latter, this "Jagon," being the commander of the attackers. The Kokiri introduced himself as Rika, a name which Ignis found to sound incredibly silly, though he held his tongue on the matter. As more defenders began to converge at the trio's location, Ignis began to grow uneasy. He almost missed Rika's question of his name, managing to mutter out a grunted "Ignis," before the Kokiri announced his farwell, heading towards the growing sound of battle. The Hylian, who had been quiet until now, suddenly spoke up.

"Sorry for the bosy Kokiri, he apparently can be a bit overbearing." The Hylian, who Rika had called Sec, a name Ignis also thought to sound silly, slowly eyed the staff in Ignis hands, and the Deku's fingers began to instinctively curl tighter around the staff. Ignis hoped the man did nothing stupid. He would would hate to incur the wrath of Rika by murdering the Hylian."Don't feel obligated to join the resistance. If you do not wish to fight there is a town a few hours northeast of here. You can take refuge there. Although any strength you can give will be extremely welcomed. I will defend everyone to the best of my ability with this bow." And with that, Sec took off, leaving Ignis once again alone. As he watched the Hylian scale a far tree, he sighed, relaxing slightly, and turned to follow Rika. "What the hell, might as well slaughter some Moblins with the others. Ignis took off, eager for battle and blood.

It took less then a few minutes to reach the battalion of enemies. And it was a mess. Ignis assumed that anyone not a monstrous race was on his side, and as he counted his allies, the Deku could feel a pit form within his stomach. He counted three Hylians and what he assumed to be two Kokiri, one of which he recognized as Rika. Counting himself, that was six of them, against twenty odd of Ganon's finest. Plus there's Sec, and that dragon's supposed to be here somewhere... the Deku thought, scanning the enemy crowd. He had one shot at this. Ignis picked his way closer, keeping low and using the cover of night to sneak in closer. Roughly twenty feet from the cluster, Ignis spotted his target. One of the charging Moblins had slowed behind the others, outpaced by maybe two to three feet. Taking a chance, Ignis pointed his right palm at Moblin, lining up his shot. Leading off, the Deku fired a ball of flame from his hand, grimacing as the sudden heat seared against his hand, even while covered in a thick glove. The Moblin faltered for a moment however, and the ball of fire glanced of his front, rather than slamming into the side. While it had obviously had knocked the wind from the creatures chest, the ball of heat mostly served to enraged the already blood frenzied man-pig. Swinging towards the Deku, Ignis could see that the Moblin had suffered a burn to its right pectoral, a burn that would make swing its spear uncomfortable, and could serve to distract the beast. Ignis' mouth moved into a Deku-smile as the creature charged him, quite content in the fact that he could handle the Moblin one on one. Unfortunately, things rarely, if ever, turn out perfectly. A single Dinolfos had witnessed the encounter, and began it's own charge at Ignis, eager to aid his comrade in routing the Deku. Ignis, now facing a two on one fight, decided it would be best not to be caught between the two, and immediately turned tail and took off, back towards the tree he had seen Sec crawl into. "That Hylian better have some damn good aim," he muttered to himself, "Or I'm for one hell of a fight!

Jenni saw the arrow fly at her. She knew she was dead. With a blink of her eyes, she was being knocked off her horse, and dragged out or harms way. She looked up and saw Nicholas sprinting back into the fight. Not without me you don't. Jenni had only known this man a few days, but she saw him as friend, and she never let a friend run headlong into danger without his back covered. She scrambled to her feet, vision as clear as her mind. As adrenaline coursed through her body and mind, the world seemed to slow down slightly. She saw the fighting ahead of her, and she lifted her bow. She set the scope to her eye, and sighted a Moblin near Nicholas' projected destination. Exhale. Fire. The Moblin fell dead as a flighted bolt seemingly grew from his forehead. Reload. Aim. Exhale. Fire. Another Moblin down. By now she had caught some attention. A Moblin charged her, his curved blade glinting wickedly. Jenni smiled, and calmly switched weapons. She raised the blade to her lips, a memento of a fallen friend, and kissed it. She slashed it to her right, fully extending her arm, to point the tip at the ground, in salute to her inevitable opponent. Respect and courage will keep you alive. Respect of the enemy, courage to face him. She raised the blade as the Moblin reached her, parrying a blow and glancing her opponents blade to her right. With his arm cross his chest, the Moblin was unable to react as Jenni's left fist collided with his right eye. She stepped back, and spun, slashing for his throat. The Moblin blocked the blow, and concussions rocked both their arms. The Moblin staggered back, but Jenni pressed forward, and her downward slash cleaved through the side of his skull. She looked at the fallen fighter, surprise written on his face, and nodded once before looking for her next fight.

Damien stood firm as the darknut approached, spinning off a massive whirlwind of flame. Frantically, Damien ducked behind the captain's horse and let the flames engulf the beast. Feeling little-to-no sorrow for the disposable protection, Damien darted away from the darknut as it rushed through.

While Nicholas fought against the darknut, Damien opted to face off against the more numerous moblins that were moving toward the Hylians. He planted his feet in the hardening ground, then began to jog in place and pushed off after several moments as he felt power coursing into his feet, his Pegasus Boots carrying him toward the foremost of the approaching moblin warriors.

Each of them was decked out in a full haubergeon of heavy, steel plate-mail, albeit of rather crude make, made up of a shirt of chainmail with a torso protected by small, integrated steel plates. All wore battered, steel pauldrons and a bronze, leather, wood, and iron spangenhelm.

The first moblin charged Damien with a heavy, iron-plated thrusting spear with a black, razor-sharp steel head. It left forearm wore an oblong, wooden shield with an iron frame and a broken skull painted on its face.

Still, Damien pressed on, his boots pounding hard in the dirt as he dashed forward. The moblin roared defiantly, yet Damien only raised his blade as his feet pushed him on. Suddenly, there was a great crashing of wood and iron as Damien's full mass smashed into the moblin at top speed, and though Damien was, by a small yet still significant margin, lighter than his opponent, he was moving easily twice as fast.

The moblin staggered backward, his shield held high weakly as he fought to regain balance. Damien brought his sword down with a horizontal slice on the moblin's crude shield. His steel cried out as its edge was stopped, yet he pushed the moblin back farther. If nothing else, Damien had to assert his strength to keep his enemies alert and their morale weakened as much as possible. The moblin planted a foot behind itself, gaining stability. With a grin, it realized that it could strike back, and did so with a hearty growl. Its spearhead glanced off of Damien's shield while the Hylian let the blow guide itself into the earth.

Spinning, Damien brought the pommel of his sword down hard on the moblin's wrist. With a dissatisfied grunt, the monster dropped its spear in a brief moment of agony. Damien swung again with his sword, this time as the moblin's arm, yet his opponent parried the blow with the edge of his shield and maanged to draw his heavy broadsword.

    "Then let us dance, demon."

The two struck at eachother and parried blows, again and again and again and again. Damien's polished blade danced gracefully and sang its steely song into the moonlit night, while the moblin attacked brutally and clumsily with his arming sword. Eventually, the moblin missed a beat, and paid the price with his blood.

The beast grunted, bringing his broadsword down on Damien with a left-to-right swing. The Faust Sword rose with haste to meet the moblin's nicked edge. Damien made a jab at the blade with the edge of his shield, and effectively knocked the moblin's sword further out of the way while he wound up for a strike with his sword. The blade of fine, Hylian steel came down swiftly and angrily upon the moblin's shoulder. The crude, steel plate of the monster's pauldron buckled and gave beneath the falling edge, and blood welled in the rings of the monster's mail.

The moblin howled in pain, swinging angrily with his shield. Damien stood ready and parried the blow with his sword, letting the shield deflect off of his sword and then swinging downward, knocking it low. With a left-to-right slice with his sword, he made a deep cut in the moblin's face, causing it to recoil and spin back in agony, thereby opening its front to attack. Howling in pain, anger, and frustration, it either did not see or did not bother to react to the incoming blade.

Aiming for the pig-man's mouth, Damien thrust the point of his weapon into the back of his opponent's throat and out the base of his skull. Placing his foot on the chest of the now motionless monster, he grunted and pushed the hulk off of his exquisite weapon.

Now then, there are four of these mockeries of life that still breath before you. End them all.

"Dragon Rider, fly in and try to take out the Aerofols. It seems there's three so far. One has a cannon, one has a bomb bag, and I believe the other has a crossbow, ready to fire. Fly in and try to take them out. Go for the one with the cannon first, as it's most dangerous, then the one with the bomb bag. However, if you can get a clean shot on any of the others, don't hesitate to strike. Watch out for Jagon though, make sure to keep moving so he doesn't hit you."

"Aye sir." Jacob snapped into a salute then jumped on Eysseth's back. With a few mighty flaps of her wings Eysseth was in the air and flying off towards the combat. A few of the rag tag group were fighting on the ground. Jacob scanned the area and found two Aerofols giving Ganon's army below air support. Jacob spurred Eysseth's side causing her to accelerate to her top speed as he charged the closest Aerofols. Jacob unsheathed his sword and slashed as he passed by. Eysseth banked and turned to see what happened. The Aerofols Jacob hit already fell to the ground dead from a very large gash in it's side.

The second Aerofols stared at Jacob after seeing his comrade get killed. The Aerofols leveled a decent sized cannon at Jacob and fired a cannonball. The cannonball barely missed Jacob's head thanks to Eysseth's last minute movement. "Damn that was close. Let's go get em' Eysseth!" Eysseth flew towards the Aerofols. Once Eysseth got close enough the Aerofols threw down it's cannon and drew a small sword.

The Aerofols charged at Jacob and Eysseth sword extended. Jacob deflected the Aerofols sword with his and tried to counterattack with a vertical slice but the Aerofols blocked this attack with it's sword. "Hm. En guard you Iguana with wings." The Aerofols hissed a reply, "Hold your tongue you soft..." The Aerofols stopped mid sentence. Jacob looked puzzled at the Aerofols and readied to attack when it moved. Jacob jumped a little when the Aerofols twitched and was slung off of Eysseth's tail spines. "Well, I suppose that's one way to deal with an Aerofols. Good job Eysseth. Now let's help the others."

The Darknut was not amused by the Kokiri Mage; he found his opponent's defiance grating, and decided that punishment was in order. He growled, and let his large sword clatter to the ground. Dropping that, he drew a short sword and a kite shield, deciding that mobility would be best in this case, the smaller mage being able to out maneuver him otherwise. While this occurred, and arrow came from the darkness and skinned the wrist of the Wizzrobe that had enchanted the other Darknut, though the powerful spell caster paid the scratch no mind. He resumed casting a spell, a platinum glow resonating throughout the Darknut's shield; the Reflect spell would make battle for the Kokiri significantly more difficult.

Charging forward, while the Wizzrobe fell in behind him, the Darknut prepared himself for the attack. As he stpped off onto his right foot, a screech sounded out from behind him, and a mirage appeared behind the Kokiri. Torquing his body to his right, he initiated a spin attack, and although his short sword was puny compared to his two hander, the extension of the Spin Attack's aura more than compensated for this. Appearing several feet behind the Kokiri at the same moment, a softer sound made as he did so, the Wizzrobe's small body heaved up, then exhaled a massive gout of flame, its flame breath threatening to set the Kokiri's back ablaze.

As the second Kokiri, that appeared to be a little girl yet possessed monstrous powers and presence of mind, leaped into the air and sent a Keese towards Jagon, the five Dinalfos took the opportunity to quickly move, two of them beginning to run towards the three Hylians their Moblin allies seemed to be having difficulties with. The other three remained, and surrounded the jumping Kokiri in a triangle formation. Jagon quietly observed as she leaped into the air, barely dodging the flaming Moblin, then landed, tearing off a piece of her cloak. Terrified! He mused, seeing how desperately she had dodged the burning pig, and had rid herself of her own cloak. He paid her only a moment, though, seeing one of the Hylians begin charging towards him, the one that had so intrigued him before. Replacing his bow on his back, Jagon stepped forward to meet the Hylian charge.

Ducking low, and avoiding the dive bomb of a pesky Keese, Jagon's left paw dug into his Bomb Bag and grabbed one of the explosives, while his right paw grabbed the sword strapped to his left hip. Holding the bomb near the entrance of the sheath, he drew Kneebiter, cutting into the shell and meat of the bomb, coating the blade with explosives. Using the acceleration of the blade leaving its sheath, Jagon sliced with an angle downwards, cutting into the ground. Using his superior reach, his blade sliced the ground below the armored Hylian's feet, the explosives bursting and causing the soil to be blown out from under the Hylian, destroying any chance at a proper footing the Hylian may have had, while also tossing up a wall of dirt as a screen.

In the same moment, using the ground the way he had used the sheath to accelerate his blade, his sword speeding up the moment its tip exited the ground, Jagon initiated a Spin Attack, angled upwards more than his last cut, though still below his own waist to compensate for his own height. Pivoting upon his right foot and turning, he turned fully, and sliced through the still falling dirt screen, hopefully taking the Hylian by surprise. However the assault was not yet done. Using his forward momentum, he stepped forward with his left about three feet, and began yet another Spin Attack, this time in the other direction. Pulling his body in tight, and ducking low, this Spin Attack was faster, if only marginally, but had moved him forward towards the armored Hylian. As he rose slowly, while executing his spin attack, he caught the Keese with the edges of his attack, which had dived yet again. Facing forward once again, he watched carefully, expecting a response from his foe; that is, if he was still alive.

As Jagon initiated his battle with the brave Hylian, one of the Dinalfos replaced the Moblin that had been fighting the Deku that appeared to be playing with fire. The Moblin retreated to nurse its wounds quickly, falling back to take a moment to lash his weapon to his hand. Another of his brothers had fallen, leaving them only with five more of the pig-men in total. The second Dinalfos had run forward to engage with the taller Hylian who had bellowed to the battlefield before, yet had failed to intimidate him. Two of the Moblins joined him, one wielding a spear with both hands, the other with a one-handed axe and a buckler. The other two Moblins charged the woman holding the crossbow, weaving between the grass, trying to keep clear of flying bolts.

As they did so, the Wizzrobe, who had been charging a spell since the beginning of the battle, appeared next to the Darknut behind the Hylians in a rush of wind, but they would have little time to react to him, his spell already prepared. Colliding the opposing energies in its fists, a bolt of lightning shot out from his hands, arcing towards the Hylian who had recently killed a Moblin, his plate armor attracting the bolt of lightning towards it. Escape was slim, but he would be forewarned by the sound of both the Wizzrobe appearing behind him, and the crackle of his hands coming together to form the lightning. The Darknut whom the Wizzrobe had appeared by started running forward, trying to take the Hylian with the crossbow from behind, while its Moblin allies charged he from the front.

Meanwhile, as the Aeralfos fell from above, the wounded Moblin made its way to the back and recovered the Power Bracelets as well as the Bomb Bag from its fallen allies. Grasping the Cannon that had fallen not too far from the bodies of the Aeralfos, the Moblin bravely propped the tube onto a large rock, aiming it towards the sky. Loading a bomb into it, then lighting a fuze, the bomb rocketed into the sky, its own fuse lit. Exploding in the middle of the dragon's flight path, the Moblin hoped that the flying terror, and its rider, would be shaken by the blast. But it continued to fire bomb after bomb at them, from the ground, refusing to let the deaths of his allies go to waste.

Nicholas only managed to skid to stop and stumble back as the ground exploded at his feet, dirty clouding his view as before a black light parted the dirt and crashed into him. Lifting his right arm at the last moment, the energy off Jagon's attack slammed into his arm and caused Nicholas to grit his teeth in concentration. The black energy gouged into his armored arm, and just as the attack faded and he swung around, the remnants of dark energy lingered on the shallow wound in his armor before another wave of darkness bursted towards him, moving close as Jagon moved with the agility and timing of a veteran soilder, but Nicholas wasn't beat yet.

Crushing the Razor Seed he held in his right hand, Nicholas quickly swung around in place, twirling with practiced grace as golden energy rippled from his fist, flecks of black wrapped in the golden aura that envoloped his fist as he swung around, releasing a great wave of golden energy that melded and shattered with the dark energy from Jagon's blade. Without missing a beat, Nicholas finished his own Spin Attack with a deft lunge forward with his sword still held firmly in his left hand. Energy crackled off in the air, dark shadows hovering in the air as a golden hue faded, casting strange shapes in every direction, the glint of gold reflected off his blade as it moved towards it's target, the power of the Razor Seed causing the blade to crackle with the energy that flowed through Nicholas' body.

Sexton began to walk forward wanting to keep movement in fear for another attack. He used the hawkeye to scan the sky, apparently there wasn't anymore Aerofols in the sky. The dragon must have taken them out. He scanned the battlefield for his next target finding relatively nothing that he could get an easy shot at. That was until he looked at the Deku that was running away from a Dinofols. The rampaging reptile was snarling as the Deku was surprisingly running toward it. He remembered saying he would give everybody some support but he was mostly being dramatic.

He readied his bow and shot at the Dinolfos right as it readied a firey blast aimed at the Deku. This blast would probably incinerate him, if the arrow had not fit him first. The Dinofols fire snuffed out as he reached for his leg. An arrow was sticking halfway through it missing any bones but still hurting the lizard. Sexton began to limp toward the Dinolfos and after a minute or two he met up with the Deku who had a slight lead on the Dinolfos. Sexton waited defensively for the Dinolfos to come to him.

When he approached Sexton sliced the lizards skin open slightly as it began to ooze out hot pink blood that had strange purple markings in it. Sexton wasn't totally sure what science was but he was sure this defied it. Reptiles were so disgusting in that fact. Sec recollected and realized that he had only killed reptiles since the beginning of this campaign. That wasn't going to be enough to hurt him but maybe with an assist from Ignis they could double team him and do some real damage.

Dispare had backed off quickly before the dinolfos attacked Blyss. The three lizards snarled with their laughter and closed around Blyss. She was startled and began to find it hard to think. At once she readied her weapon and pointed it at the closest dinolfos. The weapon shook in her palms, which due to her lack of normal bodily fluids, were not sweaty like they would be in this situation. Seconds, past and one of the dinolfos began readying to blast fire at her. Then a noise came behind the dinolfos to her left.
"Oi DUMBASS YOU LET YOUR GUARD DOWN!" Her fairy was a wisemouth, and berated her constantly, but he did have his moments. The dinolfos were distracted by what seemed to be a sneak attack. Blyss quickly tightened her grip without a thought and swung the blade instantly to the collarbone of the scaly beast to her right. The dinolfos fell to the ground from the khopesh's axe-like attack, as she pulled the weapon out with a tug, the sharp addition that was different from other khopeshes, scraping the back of the dinolfos on her left.

The dinolfos that wasn't next to the fairy began an attack to Blyss, from behind, but not a burst of fire, but a quick hit from a blunt club as she tried to move forward. Blyss twisted around in reaction to the sudden pain and stumbled backwards, with a pain in her left arm. It felt... dislocated? She didn't remember that ever happening since long before, more than 500 years it would have been. It wouldn't move, so that was probably the case. All she could do about it right now would be is to ignore it, continue with just her right arm alone.

" Damn, I forgot that dislocation is a pain to deal with. At least it's not as long to heal as gashes. I'm surprised you tried use fire on me though. Even with the goron cloth I wear underneath I would feel the heat of the fire like the flames from that pig. Stupid undead instincts require I dodge anyways..." Blyss tried to bluff her enemies into a position where they wouldn't attack with flames, but she doubt it would actually work. It would buy her a few seconds at the least, depending on how smart these monsters were to recognize a bluff. She exhaled strongly, and readied a second, downwards swing while the Lizards were distracted.

"Tactics like that. Hmmm, I'd say you're trying too hard." Dispare tried his luck at flying incessantly in front of a dinolfo's eyes with his bright light and dart away at the sign of attack.

The Darknut certainly didn't seem pleased with Rika's. . . survivability, you could say. Dropping the heavy broadsword, he switched to a more suitable weapon. Sliding the short sword out of it's sheath, the Darknut pulled a Kite Shield out of somewhere. It didn't really make sense, maybe he had it hidden up his butt? Who knew, perhaps he had a magical sack. The short sword was about four feet in length, smaller but faster then the broadsword. The blade was made of tough Goron Steel, which, while not as strong as Goron Iron, was still sturdy and durable. The grip mostly consisted of wood and steel, and while not as strong as the blade, still held up decently. "Dindamn it, really?" Rika somewhat angrily spoke to the Darknut about his change of weapons, if provoking a small grin under the Darknut's helm.

However, the Darknut's shield was enveloped in a glowing, steady light, signaling that Reflect had been cast, reflecting all of Rika's projectiles. That would make things exceedingly more difficult if something wasn't done about it. Then, he prepared to initiate a Spin Attack. Rika had to back up. While this happened, Rika heard a screeching noise behind him; Wizzwarp. Rika backed up, walking closely in front of the Wizzrobe as it appeared. This would essentially make him safe from Spin Attack, as the Darknut would most likely not slaughter the Wizzrobe. However, the Wizzrobe had an attack of his own ready.

Rika would have to act quick. Flipping over, the heel of Rika's foot slammed against the side of the Wizzrobe's face as the flames shot from it's mouth, making it slightly off path and avoiding directly setting Rika on fire. However, the flames lightly hit his arm, setting it on fire to a lesser extent. Did you know fire kind of hurts? Especially at that temperature. "Ah, shit!" Rika shouted, as his foot landed and gave him proper landing. The fire burned, but he couldn't stop just yet. Sliding out one of his daggers, in one quick motion Rika sliced at the stunned Wizzrobe's neck, cutting through it and through the jugular. Blood splashed out, giving Rika a slight wave of blood over his body. Luckily for Rika, however, he already wore red.

As such, the blood blended in rather nicely, and couldn't be distinguished very well from his clothing. Although it got on his clothes, it mostly splashed on his arm too, dousing the fire that remained burning. However, Rika had still gotten a drop or two of blood on his cheek, as the red drop slowly dripped down his face. Although the fire was gone and Rika's arm was still easily usable, small burns still lingered and would keep pain and discomfort alive for a while. At the very least, until properly treated. Turning to face the Darknut, the bright and glowing light on his kite shield started fading. Quickly it disappeared, returning to the once normal shield it had been before a buff was instituted.

". . . You know, I really hate getting blood on myself." Rika said to the Darknut in a rather serious tone. Holding his single dagger ready, Rika held the other hand upward, ready to engage the now much faster Darknut in battle.

As the corpse of his moblin victim fell back, Damien looked at his sword in satisfaction. It was covered in the crimson blood of his foe. Before him, three more enemies were charging to battle. The first was a dinolfos suited in a coat of heavy steel mail, with the head of a twin-sided battle-ax on its tail and a horned helmet made from steel that appeared to be crafted in the shape of a goat's skull. Its right hand clutched the handle of a heavy, steel falchion, whose edge was nicked form hard use, and whose hilt was stained from the grip of its master. The dinolfos' left arm wore a round shield measuring just over 1 1/2 feet in diameter, made of cedar with a shell of solid, battered steel.

Behind that foe were two other moblins wearing their heavy coats of steel plate-mail and carrying heavy, iron spears, axes, and one of them an iron buckler.

Let them come. Then, brother, show them the fire of your cold, hard edge.

Damien planted himself sturdily in the ground, bracing for the fight with his legs, until he heard a sound.

Yes... that sound... There was a sort of moaning, or rather chanting, and a crackling behind him. He whirled around to see the enemy he feared most at this time: a wizzrobe. The creature's eyes glowed a fierce white, and its hands were ringed with a pale, white aura as bolts of electricity gathered between its palms.

That sight made Damien abandon the other monsters altogether and focus on this one enemy. He began sprinting madly toward the wizzrobe, the crackling sounds of the magic power gathering penetrating his mind and concerning him to almost no end. Harder and harder, and faster and faster did his feet pound the dirt. His legs were carrying him as fast as they possibly could, yet before Damien could approach his prey, there was a CRACK! Buzzzzzzz, as a bright, violet arc of lightning shot forth from the point midway between the wizzrobe's hands.

Damien saw a flash of scarlet, and heard a cry of pain. He soon realized that it was him as he felt his arm and knees crash down to the earth. Seeing his quarry fall to the ground, the wizzrobe grinned behind the folds of its mantle, pouring yet more energy through the bolts dancing forth from its fingers.

Surprisingly, the one thing that saved Damien was the one thing that had attracted the bolts in the first place: his family's armor and coat of mail. The steel plates and rings served as a Faraday Cage, and while they did not stop the energy from coursing through Damien's body, they did channel much of the current around him and into the ground through his shield and sword. Blue and violet arcs flashed through the air from Damien's body, darting into the earth with ferocious cracks and booms.

Most of all, it was hot. Damien felt the heat more than anything else, and even his cloak and armor began to shed small tails of thin, white smoke.

Stand, damn you. Do not falter now!

Damien struggled forward, inch-by-inch. Even having to fight through the pain, the Hylian could crawl ahead. He slowly rose to his feet, now, staggering forward through the walls of blue and violet bolts.

Only a few meters away, now, the wizzrobe gave a dissatisfied grunt and sent yet more power forward. With a white flash, more energy surged through Damien's armor and body, and he gave a fierce howl of agony, nearly collapsing again. He looked behind himself briefly, seeing the moblins and dinolfos approaching, and gave himself one last push. He stood back up to his feet and put all of his strength into moving forward. Somewhat frightened, now, the wizzrobe broke off its lightning attack and began to walk backwards, hurling blasts of flame.

However, after only two balls were fired, it was clear Damien's steel-skinned shield could handle the heat, and the wizzrobe began to teleport away, but the enraged Hylian was faster. A well-sharpened steel edge flashed through the air, parried by a small barrier of energy generated by the wizzrobe around its fists. However, Damien pressed the attack, and the physically inferior wizrobe was unable to react. Suddenly, Damien lashed out with both sword and shield, knocking away the wizzrobe's feeble defense and opening up the monster for a brutal slashing assault by the Faust Sword. Warm blood sprayed across Damien's face, chest, and arms like spilled soup, and, satisfied, the tall Hylian staggered 'round to meet his three new foes.

Keep your senses... Do not... don't fail now...

Damien was certainly dazed by the wizzrobe's earlier assault, and soon found himself in a precarious position. The dinolfos was the first to attack, hissing as its falchion sliced through the air and met Damien's blade with a sharp, steely din. Before Damien could respond in kind, though, the sharp, steel head of a moblins iron spear came shooting into the battle. forcing Damien to deflect the blow with his shield and waste and opportunity to hit back at the dinolfos. The moblin with the ax decided that his weapon was more unwieldy in this sort of fight, with two allies right next to his target, so he opted to hang back and wait for the right time to strike.

Perhaps that time had come, however, when Damien deflected yet another spear-thrust into the dirt and proceeded to open the spear-moblin's throat with the end of his sword. The pig-man dropped his spear and blood sprayed across both Damien and the dinolfos, reaching up to clutch at his throat while blood squirted out, slowly snuffing out his life.

Having scored a third kill for the day, Damien turned his attention to the dinolfos, though still wary that the other moblin could strike at any time. Moreover, Damien was quite weakened by the wizzrobe's attack, and would not recover his strength with one enemy pressing a brutal attack, let alone two enemies.

As Jagon finished his second Spin Attack, feeling his opponent's brilliant counter that had stopped stopped his spin perfectly, he knew to quickly expect a follow-up from the Hylian opponent. "Impressive!" He shouted with vigor, battle lust beginning to take his eyes. His left hand shot out from his side, grabbed the hilt of his blade in a two handed grip, pulling it viciously to meet the lunging sword. Stepping forward with his right foot, Jagon rotated his body to his left, his sword rotating with him. His own blade slapped against the side of the hard metal of the sword, diverting the lunge to his left. As he continued his rotation, he swept his right foot under the Hylian, trying to take the man's leg out from under him. Pulling his sword back from his opponent's, Jagon continued into a horizontal stroke, hoping to take the armored Hylian's head, though metal stood in his way. At the very least, hitting his head would stun him and allow for Jagon to finish their bout.

Seeing that the Hylian with the bow was the greater threat, and wounded, the Darknut that was flanking the Hylian woman, armed with a crossbow, bounded across the battlefield to hopefully take the Deku and Hylian by surprise from behind. It had seen the Hylian limping, while it also knew that the Deku was a spell caster; it had fired a ball of fire at a Moblin before. It hoped to capitalize on this, taking the Hylian bowman before he could move of range, and the Deku Mage before he could cast another spell. Meanwhile, the lizards engaging the puissant Kokiri paused for a moment, though the one using a club inched forth. They shrugged off her bluff; breathing fire was relatively easy for the dragon-like warriors. Releasing great balls of flame from their mouth, the gouts combining into one extended blast of fire as they met, they hoped to torch the Kokiri entirely.

As for the even more annoying Kokiri, the one who had been casting spells and had so easily killed a Wizzrobe, the Darknut had become determined to wipe him from the face of Hyrule. Sheathing his blade quickly, the Darknut took a moment to converse with his enemy. "How do you feel about your own blood? I promise you, Kokiri, I will not stop until your bones have been ground to dust." He growled out angrily. It was both a threat he meant to fulfill, and a means of buying time for a moment. He felt his blade begin to shake in its back mounted sheath. Letting his body fall forward, the Darknut kicked off from the ground with both feet, pushing hard. Rocketing forward, using his falling momentum to throw him towards the mage, he charged forward with his shield held up just below his eyes. Grasping the hilt of his sword, he drew it, exploding forward even further, even lower to the ground, his explosive momentum carrying forward. As he drew his weapon, a Power Beam shot forth from its tip, straight at the Kokiri's chest. Then initiating a Spin Attack that was near impossible, his body nearly touching the ground, he swept his sword from left to right, aiming to take the Kokiri's legs out from under him. As he continued his Spin Attack, he rose from the ground, and as he turned a full three hundred sixty degrees, his blade cleaved the air at the Kokiri's chest level. With the extension of the Spin Attack, even the short sword he was using had a formidable eight foot aura.

Chi: You do realize that Vampires still feel pain, right?

Idarian: You have earned yourself a momentary reprieve. The Faraday Cage deal was a nice trick, though don't expect to be using it twice if thunder happens to hit you again in the fight, which it probably won't. However, do keep in mind that Damien will probably have difficulty jumping back into battle right away, or even much at all, having suffered from sever amounts of electricity coursing through him and his nerves.

Chu: Did you really just kill that Wizzrobe that easily? You know they're capable of moving, right? Also, people's jugulars aren't nearly that pressurized to shoot enough blood to put out that fire. Hence that Darknut wanting to murder Rika. )

So, Damien was still faced by two determined enemies: an armored dinolfos and an ax-wielding moblin, both of which were grizzled and ferocious. Damien stood his ground to the best of his ability, but the wizzrobe's barrage earlier left him rather drained.

Come now, damn you! Stand tall! Don't fail now!

Damien braced himself for the dinolfos' attack. With a sort of contemptuous hiss, the lizard brought its falchion down upon Damien's shield, then followed up with a vicious strike with the ax-head attached to its tail. The ax swung around fiercely, being stopped only by the steel of Damien's sword. Damien grunted, jabbing at the tail with his shield, then sidestepping a potential sword strike and bringing his fine steel down on the dinolfos' tail.

    Destroy him... Destroy them all!

The dinolfos howled in pain, whirling around to thrust at the Hylian with its falchion. Damien recovered his senses enough to step back, letting the thrust pass in front of him. With his left arm, he swatted the monster's sword arm down and thrusting the Faust Sword into his foe's gut.

Knowing the second moblin was now charging toward him, Damien found he could not delay in killing this monster. He quickly yanked his sword from his enemy's torso and raised his shield to protect himself from a feeble, blazing orange retaliation. As the weak flames licked at the steel skin of his shield, Damien swatted the thing's head off to the side, then struck at the dinolfos' neck with his sword. The monster lurched forward on the ground, then lay motionless.

The snort of an angered moblin alerted Damien to the nearby danger as he was prompted to raise his shield in defense against a falling, iron ax-head.

Nicholas was amazed by the speed and skill the Darknut managed to control his blade with, and was quickly off-balanced by the swift parry by Jagon. Shifting his feet, Nicholas managed to fix his stance as his quickly swung his sword up to his right arm as Jagon's blade crashed into it. He managed to place his sword inbetween his Metal Arm and Jagon's sword, but Jagon had incredible strength that Nicholas hadn't accounted for, and his stance was quickly fumbled as Jagon managed to knocked him away with the force of his swing, sending Nicholas crashing to the ground and catching on his Metal Arm, leaving a large cut into the metal, revealing flesh.

Tumbling awkwardly, Nicholas managed to sink his right hand into the ground and force himself to stop, reorienting his body to put his feet under him, slipping another seed from his pouch with his left hand, leaving his sword resting on the ground as he kept low and waited for Jagon's next attack.
