As he scurried across the room, the Scrub could hear the distinct sounds of spells bouncing off mirror silver. Though his eyes were focused on Green, Guy could tell Julius and Blue were on guard against each other with neither progressing. At the very least, he thought, he would have a moment to strike before Green could again cast Thunder.

They didn’t have any visible armor, and although Wizzwarp was tricky it wasn’t instantaneous. His thrown knife was easily deflected, but if he could close in—if he could strike directly against one of them, Guy doubted their magic would be able to halt his strike.

Throughout this strategizing, Green was launching bolt after glowing magic bolt with uncanny rapidity. Guy was struggling to come up with a tactical advance while maintaining his evasive efforts against this onslaught. He wasn’t armored enough to just take these hits; after each narrowly-evaded shot, he could hear a thunderous boom hit the stone floor or tile an inch away from him. It was as if the green wizzrobe was launching blasts of pure force from its fingertips.

“Julius!” Guy called out, “Prepare to deflect!” The man had an easy time deflecting Blue’s shots, and even if Green’s hit him they would be little more than solid punches against the man’s armor.

Jumping and weaving through shot after shot, Guy sprinted behind Julius. Either Green was going to shoot Julius himself, or aim for Guy as he sprinted out from behind the man. Guy guessed the wizzrobe was clever enough to go for the latter. He was right—Guy’s Mirror Shield shot up just in time to deflect the magic bolt back towards blue. Not even a split-second later, Guy’s body propelled across the room immediately after the bolt, his body hurled towards blue.

As he flew, Guy called out, “Spin attack!”

That shrill noise echoed a split-second before Blue vanished into thin air. It was a feint—Guy wasn’t even striking Blue, just trying to get him to vanish. As he flew, he instead hurled a knife at Green—an intentionally narrow miss to distract the wizzrobe long enough to keep it from attacking either him or Julius. This would give Julius the opening he needed, Guy thought—the opening needed to charge that Spin Attack of his, and tear into the wizzrobe who would no doubt wizzwarp behind Julius just as it did last time.

Julius nodded, hearing what Guy had said. The only problem he had was that the blue Wizzrobe had a sword, too! He had expert skill as well-- where he blocked, Blue parried or dodged. There was seeming to be no end to this, but it honestly didn't matter.

The blasts were coming near him now. He turned, not expecting Guy to literally be behind him. He then deflected one shot back at Green-- the blow struck, and Green seemed a bit dazed. Then, Blue miraculously Wizzwarped out of the way-- giving him time enough to actually charge his Spin Attack. With a grin on his face, he struck the familiar position.

And tore right into Blue. This was it, he thought. This was when the Goddesses started looking after them.

The Blue Wizzrobe, at first, was stunned-- he had the most bewildered look on his face. HE, of all people, had just been struck by the most basic of martial techniques-- a Spin Attack! This, of course, was no good. Breathing deeply, he reappeared and unleashed a Cannon Shout. He knew all about his sword's material-- that it could deflect anything magic. But, this technique wasn't magic, was it?

He saw the Blue one reappear, and seem to cast something. It was shrouded in shadow-- not a good sign, considering all the reading he had done on elemental magic. Then again, he really only knew its most basic effects: that whoever experienced it would feel an intense pain.

He attempted to redirect it, using his Mirror Silver sword. But, the technique continued, unerred by his blade. It struck him in full force. Pain radiated from the point of contact, consuming him. He was knocked back, not having seen that it was almost literally a cannonball of shadow. He thudded against the side of the room they were in; he even hit it hard enough to cause himself to sink into it.

It seemed like an eternity to him, but it faded just as quickly as it had began. But the fear... the fear was strong, even in one as courageous as he. He struggled to not run away-- flee the vicinity as soon as it had struck him... and succeeded. But, beyond this, there was now an underlying current of fear in this fight. Already, there was an attack that couldn't be blocked-- his mind was too addled with fear to realize that his shield.

Standing haphazardly, almost falling to his hands and knees numerous times, Julius righted himself. He prepared himself. Meanwhile, the Green one had cast something...

After taking a magic bolt deflected by Julius and a knife slung by Guy, the Green wizzrobe was preparing to cast wizzwarp again.

"Fuck your warpy shit," Guy spat, a split-second before his forwardly sprinting momentum drove his thrust sword DEEP into the spellcaster's thigh. A guttural, inhuman voice cried out in pain. Before Guy could twist his blade in the wound, the damn thing managed to vanish once again into thin air.

Knowing the damn thing would try to get the drop on him, he first glanced behind him, then above him, and finally towards Julius. Nothing. The thing certainly hadn't run away just from a nonlethal injury, especially when it could just fly around without needing to walk around on an injured leg. So where was it?

By the time Guy's glare found Green, its arm was already extended in that foreboding pose. It was collecting magic power into its palm, which was beginning to glow. Thunder was incoming. Green had already seen Julius' blade deflect magic, and now it had witnessed Guy's shield do the same--or had it? If it had witnessed Guy's mirror shield, why would it cast this spell on someone who could deflect magic? In that moment, Guy realized the one time his shield was used in this fight, Green had just taken its own magic bolt to the face after Julius had deflected it. It might not even realize...

...This might be the stupidest tactic Guy had ever attempted, but.

In the critical moment of that lightning rushing forth, the deku scrub propelled straight towards Green. The propel brought him up off the ground, which he used to tuck his body into a tight ball that barely managed to hide entirely behind his extended mirror shield.

A roaring CRACK echoed throughout the corridor, and in a split-second a bolt of lightning tore through the air towards Guy's shield--before immediately rebounding right back into its foul creator. As if by miracle, the spell didn't even pass through Guy's shield. He could feel the static putting his leafy hair on end, even as he tumbled into the ground from his reckless propel. Clambering to his feet, the little warrior broke out into a sprint towards Green. The thing was twitching, convulsing, and barely alive--

--until Guy's sword violently stabbed right into the creature's neck. He ripped the blade out of the left side, spraying green blood across the tile. The wizzrobe's head was dangling by a thread as it collapsed to the ground in a heap. No sooner had it collapsed, then the body within began to fade, leaving nothing but blood-stained empty robes on the floor.

Guy's eyes whipped towards Blue. Had Julius slain him? Or was this fool going to rethink his options having witnessed the brutal death of his comrade?

No. The evident Wizzrobe clad in blue was definitely up to something... He just needed to extend his finer senses.

He was scared now. A bit frightened, at least. Focus. He tried to think, tried to expand his senses, but he couldn't. He was too scared. He woefully looked at Guy. "I'm too..." He mumbled, trying to force out this word. Scared, frightened. Anything would do.

"I'm too SCARED," he shouted, at last. The properties of that thing that got yelled at him... It was too strange. It him with the force of what felt like a cannonball, but obviously that couldn't have been the case. Or could it?

He kept looking for the Blue Wizzrobe. Any sign, any trace-- then, he heard it. An incantation. Where there was a wall... Well, if anything, he figured that bombing it couldn't hurt. He took a bomb from his Bomb Bag, and got ready to throw.

    One.

    Two.

    Three!
He hurled the bomb at the wall. It traveled far, and hit the wall. As it bounced back, it exploded, dispelling some kind of illusion. There, Blue had just finished his incantation. He smirked at them, raising its hands, as if to call down... something.

Then, it transformed into something so horrendous it physically crumbled the room around it. It was something he hadn't fought before-- but if it still bled, he got the feeling they could kill it. It bore great similarities to how the Sages of generations past would often describe Ganon-- it stood upon two horrific, scaly legs, had a tail, and even seemed to possess two-- admittedly magnificent-- blades of thunder. It let out a roar from its hideous snout, that looked like what you would get if you crossed a human's face with a lizard's.

Lightning crackled down its blades. He started destroying the room they were in-- he guessed to allow itself to fight more freely, but then... Something abhorrent appeared. A meteor was headed straight for them; they would have to act fast if they wanted to survive.

"Guy! What the hell is this thing!" Julius shouted, dodging one of its monstrous cleaves.
