Treasures: Power Lift, Wall-Scaling, Sense, Profession 1 (Monster Slayer).

    Equipment:
Silver Trident: A six foot long polearm with three prongs, designed for rapid stabs but consequently lacking much weight behind individual thrusts.

Silver Shield: A round shield with a center grip, meant to allow for quick deflection and counter hits but lacking the stability needed to outright block strong attacks.

Satchel: A serviceable and basic bag with a single strap meant for carrying supplies, easy to shrug on and off but smaller than a full sized backpack.

    Appearance:
Standing at a fairly short five foot nothing and weighing a mere hundred pounds, Cera has a textbook example of a swimmer's build. Despite her small stature she has relatively long limbs, nearly to the point of being lanky. While she seems at first glance to be fragile and scrawny, even for one of her kind, a second look would easily note plenty of lean and sharply defined muscle.

Her facial features, though sharp compared to many other races, are much softer than is usual for her kind and gives her a generally round-shaped face. Her all-black eyes are large and round as well, and the stubby tail on the back of her head barely manages to brush it's flukes against the tops of her shoulders. Said flukes are fairly long and have a sweeping inward curve, almost mimicking the appearance of a feminine bobcut.

The scales that cover her entire body are a powdery blue color, with some navy blue patches. These darker spots include the top of her head and the entirety of her tail, her fins, and scattered specks across various parts of her body. Most notably of the latter is across the bridge of her nose, similar in effect to having freckles.

    Personality:
To most she interacts with, Cera displays a go-with-the-flow attitude and a passion for physical activities. She is rarely upset by others or events, easily staying calm in what others find to be highly stressful situations. If she can change something for the better she does so to the best of her ability, and if not she doesn't waste time and energy fretting about it.

Although she is sociable and friendly, she has a hard time dealing with those that are particularly high strung. She finds these people exceptionally frustrating, and they often bring out a sarcastic and dismissive side to her. While willing to engage in any given topic of conversation, she lacks much understanding of things beyond the scope of athleticism.

Her interest in physical tasks and challenges borders on the obsessive, and she finds it difficult to simply sit still and do nothing. She often engages in little activities she makes up on the spot, depending what she has to work with. While she treats competitions with the same lighthearted attitude as anything else, she takes combat extremely seriously.

Cera has no mercy to offer her enemies, and she fights with brutal efficiency. She holds no personal hatred for monsters, but believes them to be too dangerous to allow to run rampant all the same. This belief is fueled by her thoughts on needing to be strong to survive, and is not much different from the attitude commonly held by River Zora on the subject.

To this end she desires to become a peerless warrior, capable of defeating the most powerful of monsters through sheer strength and skill. While she approaches this goal with a level head, she does find her reliance on weapons and armor to be an unfortunate handicap. She also has a distaste for magic reliance, but only if the task could be accomplished mundanely.

    Background:
Hailing from the Great Bay, Cera stands out as the first of her family to actually venture beyond it in generations. Her mother is a crafter of jewelry made from ocean-based materials, while her father is a hunter who gathers food. She has seven other sisters, all born from the same egg clutch. Of her siblings, only she took an interest in hunting growing up.

This interest in hunting was greatly encouraged by her father and mother both, and she was often taken on little trips with her father in order to teach her about it. As a child she had a lot of difficulty with the more patient aspects to hunting, prone to spooking her prey due to carelessness. As she got older, however, she grew to appreciate it more.

One particular hunting trip would be the basis for her no-nonsense approach to combat. With the resurgence of Ganon over a decade ago, Cera grew up hearing tales of monsters and dangerous threats to her people and the entire world. Filled with a desire to protect others and defeat these monsters, she recklessly attempted to hunt one of them in the Great Bay all by herself without the proper tools or preparations.

She nearly lost her life that day, only avoiding permanent injury through good fortune. Recovering from the experience, and the scolding from her parents, left her with a new appreciation for how dangerous such things were. Rather than be discouraged however, she took her desires more seriously and would form her belief that you need strength to survive.

Afterwards and having learned from her mistakes, she for a time worked as a hunter alongside her father. However, she never dropped her desire to hunt down monsters and underwent combat training. She discussed this often with her family and friends, but they wished to avoid what they saw as unnecessary risks and conflicts.

So not long after turning sixteen, she began to plan for a world-wide adventure. Her family was not particularly enthusiastic about the idea, but it was abundantly clear to them that there was nothing they could do to stop her. So her parents went to great lengths to help her as best they could to ensure her safety out in the world, mainly by learning about it.

When all was prepared, the trident and shield she wields were crafted for her as a parting gift. Bidding farewell to her friends and family, she set out from the Great Bay to the mainland. Her adventures begun, she aims to see what the world has to offer while making it safer one monster at a time.
