    Bathroom Arena (open)
Over the boundaries of time and space, the two Hylians suddenly found themselves standing upon... giant yellow rubber duckies. At least a dozen of them lined an endless ocean of steaming water, no doubt slightly damaging to the touch, but not boiling. Each of the duckies was about six feet across, and aside from them there was an equally-massive bar of soap, and what appeared to be a damp loofah--likely the most suitable area to do battle, four feet across and a dozen long--was in the center of the ducky pile.

Nicholas blinked, glancing around the area they were now in. "This is... different," Nicholas noted. Drawing his blade with his left hand, hopping from duck to duck to the large loofah. Facing his other opponent, bowing slightly.

"Nicholas Walker, nice to meet you sir. No reason to be uncivil before we tear each other's throats out, eh?"

The politeness of the opponent and the strangeness of the arena was enough to cause anyone to be uneasy. Sexton didn't totally like being on a rubber duck but he wasn't going to the loofah. That is what everyone would expect. He instead stood on the duck and threw a slur at his opponent. "How about we refrain from the throat tearing.."

Nicholas looked at his opponent and laughed, "well, I sure hope no actual throat tearing happens, but I just mean let us get this battle under way." He had no idea what kind of things his opponent could do, and had to be very careful in the strange arena they stood it, which Nicholas was still trying to ignore.

Running forward, Nicholas jumped off the loofah and landed on one of the ducks, thanking the feather around his neck for being so useful, then leapt onto another duck, putting a duck between himself and his opponent. He watched his opponent carefully, waiting to see how his opponent would react to his advance.

Sec stared as the enemy pursued him trying not to show fear because he knew that would be his downfall. "The name is Sexton Hardcastle," the Hylian said holding out his hand in a sportsman like manor. "Pleasure to meet you." He knew he was taking a huge risk with this, possibly not even returning with his right hand. Sec just wanted to judge his opponents character he was always taught to know his enemy. He also had a precautionary measure awaiting.

In his left hand was one of his black eggs full of sand. If the person even seemed to hint at aggression he would toss into his eyes. But if he shows respect Sexton will instead retreat by a duck or two and take out his bow, steadying an arrow.

"Forgive me if I don't shake your hand," Nicholas apologized, "not much of a hand-shaker." With the introductions out of the way, Nicholas decided it was about time to start the fight. Jumping forward, Nicholas landed on the duck in a low crouch, then leapt high into the air with his right arm pulled back, aiming to punch his opponent using the momentum of falling to back up the punch, which is already pretty hefty because of the metal gauntlet.

"Suit yourself," he said as he retreated and brought out his bow just as planned, though he wasn't quite planning on the Hylian charging at him quite so soon. He had already had his bow out with an arrow he may be sacrificing himself by not moving but he shot the arrow at the falling Hylian. He wasn't sure if his arrow hit anything, but the punch sure did hit. And boy did it hurt. The velocity of Nicholas' fall was enough to knock Sec to the ground with Nicholas landing on top. Sexton only prayed that Nicholas didn't have a trick up his sleeve..

As his fist smashed into his opponent, he didn't get a chance to to check to see how much damage he had actually caused, as he swung down at his opponent with his sword quickly before leaping backwards onto the previous duck. He felt a sharp pain searing through the left side of his chest, and once he landed he investigated.

The arrow his opponent had shot had pierced his leather jacket, and had merely been stuck in and had grazed his side. When he had swung his sword though, he had accidently shoved the tip of the arrow into his flesh, and the jump had moved it around. Reaching over with his right hand, he gently pulled the arrow from his wound and grimaced as blood seeped out.

In all regards, it wasn't a terribly dangerous wound, just painful and could of been avoidable had Nicholas been paying more attention. Speaking of which, his gaze shot up to where his opponent had been, and he quickly made sure he wasn't in direct line of fire. With his opponent owning a ranged weapon, this fight was going to become a lot harder.

He didn't have much of a chance to recover from the punch due to a sword about to come down on him. He rolled out of the way like he usually would but didn't realize he was on a breakable surface. The sword cut right through the duck as sex started falling into the steaming water. He closed his eyes and used Ice Enchantment on his feet as he sprinted to another duck on top of the water as the ice quickly melted. He got to the duck and stood there fanning each foot separately. After his feet were cooled he started to rub his shoulder where that punch hit. "Looks like we both got the best of each other," he said to the other as they both looked at each other at seemingly the same time.

Sexton began to ponder about how the arrow barely went through the armor. It could have been due to him barely having time to drawback. If he wants to pierce the armor he needs to use more strength.. sadly that has never been his strong suit. Sexton readied another arrow into his bow but not before he slid one of his 'black eggs' on them. He knew that the Hylian would see this coming and try to avoid it so he made it merely a trap. When it made contact, the ash inside the egg will spill out and fill up into a cloud. Afterwards he put his arrow on his back he took out his dagger and gripped it tightly in a defensive fashion, he winced a tad bit in pain. He just hoped that his opponent was too distracted by the arrow.

Re: TOURNEY: Sexton Hardcastle vs Nicholas Walker (Chaos vs

Nicholas watched as his opponent prepared his next attack, which really made Nicholas regret the fact he lacked a ranged weapon of his own. The idea to block the arrow with his Metal Arm came to mind, as does lifting a shield come to mind for a trained soldier. Only difference is, the Metal Arm doesn't have the surface area of a kite shield, which gives the arrow a better chance of striking him.

Taking option B, he darted to his right and leapt off the duck as the arrow went by. It looked odd, like it had some large black ball on it, but he couldn't get a better look as he landed on a duck and slid to a stop. Turning to his opponent again, he could see that he had switched to a different weapon, so Nicholas charged forward again, leaping from the duck he stood on to another duck once more before leaping forward, leading with his right arm infront of him as he pulled his left back for a wide slash with his sword as he would land.

Sexton saw the man charging from duck to duck, for a moment he thought how funny a sight the big tough Hylian hopping on rubber duckies was. But now was no times for pleasantries. Sexton waited for the Hylian to get close, he didn't dare try to block the attack with his dagger, just merely parry it. Sec then whipped his leg and kicked behind the knee of the opponent sending him sword first into the duck.

Sexton jumped to another duck and waited for a popping sound as he said, "You should really be careful before you pop all of them." He remained on guard due to the assumed pride the competitor had.

As Nicholas tripped and plunged his sword into the duck, he quickly pushed himself up and leapt off as the duck sunk into the water. His opponent was quicker then he had guessed, and the parry with the dagger had really caught him off-guard, but it shouldn't happen again... hopefully. Listening to his opponent pointed out how the duck had sunk. That was the second duck he had sunk with his sword, and Nicholas couldn't hide his grin as he looked around. Out of the dozen from the start, only ten remained.

"What a grand idea, thank you," Nicholas smiled as he plunged his sword into the duck, and leapt back to another duck as it popped and slow sunk. Three down, nine to go, Nicholas mentally noted. This duck also went down as he leapt to another. He kept an eye on his opponent, as he knew he would probably switch back to his bow soon. If he did, Nicholas would probably have to go on the offensive again, but for now he would keep moving and killing ducks.

    Five down, seven to go.

"That's totally not what I meant,"[/color] he said.. "But it works I suppose," he mumbled under his breath. He hopped to the soap right next to him and took out his bow. It was weird standing on the soap but regardless he took aim but his target wasn't the Hylian. He instead popped the duck he was standing on, leaving six. He popped three more with three other arrows leaving just three. All of them were on the other side of the arena, whether Nicholas liked it or not this was now a long ranged battle. Unless he wanted to swim that is..

Once Nicholas saw the bow come out, he turned his attention from destroying ducks to his opponent. As the first arrow launched out of the bow, Nicholas leapt to another nearby duck, only to see the arrow sink into the duck and sink it. "So that's his game, huh," Nicholas muttered as leapt from another popped duck to the luffah, barely making the leap as his claw sunk into the luffah's surface, his feet splashing into the water.

Swearing to himself, Nicholas swore as the steaming water had swept into his boot, making his feet both wet and painful. Blisters would surely form and be very painful, but luckily he was still in this fight. He had narrowly avoided a dangerous situation, if Sexton had managed to split the arena with Nicholas far away, he would of been doomed.

Back to his feet, he faced Sexton with his sword at the ready, leading with his right arm as he waited to see how Sexton would react to the new turn of events. It had basically ended up how Nicholas had wanted anyways, little room for the man to run, as they were cut down to the loofah and the soap as the last two battle platforms, the other three floating out of range.

(I figured you'd think of that, I just hopped the loofah would skip your mind. :P Good show.)

Sexton was frightened that the man was so resilient, he was backed into a corner literally. He felt like he had a little fight in him but he was no brawler but he felt like he had to try. He would feel ridiculous if this was his final resting place. He had no where to run so he instead charged at his opponent with his dagger out, almost slipping on the soap as he hopped over to the loofah. He used his ice enchantment as he swung his dagger fairly wildly three times, desperation was setting in.

Nicholas had his sword in hand as the man lunged at him, cold air billowing from his dagger as he lunged, his swings wild and less refined then the general warriors would be. Stepping backwards, Nicholas narrowly avoided the first slash and brought his sword up to block the second blow, his eyes narrowing as the collision of the two blades started to layer his longsword in ice.

Catching the third blow with his sword in a deftly swung parry away from them, Nicholas knew by simple logic that a normal sword could not take extreme temperatures without harming the overall durability of the weapon, so he focused on his next offensive move by sliding his right foot forward and aiming a quick jab with his right arm into the man's stomach, hoping to knock the wind out of him.

Sexton couldn't dodge the attack, the fist went right into his stomach as he fell backwards holding himself. He coughed up a small amount of blood onto the soap that he fell down onto. The attack didn't kill him but it daftly injured the Hylian. "Time out!" he yelled as he rolled backwards. He quickly recovered due to his lack of trust in Nicholas. He worried too much of his character, not sure if he was willing to hit a man while he was down.

Sec held his stomach, he couldn't win a front on assault due to his lack of power. The only thing he had was his agility. He approached Nicholas fairly slowly once he got to the end of the soap, he kicked up some of the steaming water, aimed directly at Nicholas' face. He then sprinted at him, though in his condition it seemed more like a jog. He delivered a feint punch before swinging his leg around in a sweep in an attempt to knock the man into the water for a deep burn.

Re: TOURNEY: Sexton Hardcastle vs Nicholas Walker (Chaos vs

As the man fell backwards, landing on the soap and calling for a time out, Nicholas ignored the man's request as the nature of the tournament ment that his act of no remorse would not end the man's life. Moving forward, he was about to leap down on the man but before he could Sexton had already recovered and launched forward while splashing water up at him.

Lifting his right arm, the flecks of water splashed off his jacket as he brought his arm down quickly, to try and block the punch that Sexton launched, dropping his left arm down to place the sword in front of the leg sweep. Nicholas could hear the crack of leg meeting sword, and he quickly glanced down to see the blow had, instead of hitting him, had hit the side of the frozen blade and snapped the sword in half.

Moving into the offensive once more, Nicholas brought his right arm forward to try and punch Sexton again, aiming for his chest this time hoping to crack a rib or two.

Sexton saw the punch heading right towards him and in a last ditch effort jumped into the burning water to keep his body in one half. He panicked until he was safe from the water on the soap. He couldn't even stand due to how slippery the wet soap was. The battle had taken a lot out of him, even before the dip in the pool. So in anticipation he held up his hand to stop his opponent. "I think that this has gone on long enough."

"The Darknut says that we will be brought back to life but I don't trust large men..." He said as he scoffed. "Hell I trust short men even less." Speaking of the Darknut's short master. "I'd prefer not to have blood on my dagger if at all possible. Not to mention I'd rather not experience death before my time."

Sexton gripped his knife tightly as a precautionary measure. "And if we keep going like this, one of us will die, probably me."

Nicholas was weary of the man, listening to the words the man spoke. He lifted his left arm up and glanced at his shattered blade, then looked back at the man. "If you wish to resign from the match, I can't imagine the creator of this tournament would mind." Turning his head upwards, he called out to the heavens, "what say you? If he wishes not to die, will you grant his request and end this match?"

Nicholas glanced back at his opponent, watching him just to be sure no trick was being made. "The final word is yours, sir, do you retire or do you wish to continue?"

"You won the physical portion," he said as he sighed in relief at the thought of keeping his life. "All that's left is the judging and honestly you countered everything I threw at you. I landed more attacks, but you landed harder ones. Pretty good fight don't you say?" Hopefully the Daknut would take kindly to his forfeit and not punish him for it. He wasn't sure what to expect, at least now he gets to actually go to the restroom...
