Gale Isle was very beautiful this time of the year. It had a small beach, even two palm trees, and clear, blue skies. Of more interest to the woman on its shore, though, was the cave in the middle of it. Her henchmen had told her the cave housed treasures beyond compare, great riches and even greater fame! Well, Yasmin Shahnaz was one to be intrigued by the danger she had been warned for, and she was ready to go into the cave...

but not without her fresh henchmen. Yasmin knew better than to risk Hannah and Agnes in there. The girls were great resources of both information and help in battle, but if this place was really so dangerous she couldn't take them with her. They were just too useful! So she'd brought a fair amount of Rupees, found a Kokiri capable of healing wounds and a girl with mental issues but a good sword arm, hired a boat, and brought them all there.

Nothing illegal about that, for a change. Well... maaaybe she had lied when she said it was the tomb of an ancient civilization she was researching, but details mattered not! Besides, who knew?

"Okay, loves!" she said, turning around, "This is the place I told you about! The secrets of old await us! If there are any volunteers to go in first, step forward now!"

Chimera nodded slowly, taking the first few steps inside the cave. Two lit torches stood inside, but other than that, the room was pretty bare. The Gerudo thought through how she’d been brought here… The sneaky one had found her looting a wrecked village as usual, and the typical standoff had occurred. But then… She’d offered her food for some help with some job she wanted done. Chimera’s limited vocabulary made it so she didn’t completely get what was going on, but in the trip here, she’d eaten more than in full months. It was amazing.

Unfortunately the first time ever seeing a body of water, she was thrust overtop of it on some weird wooden… thing. She was terrified at what was happening, trying to spend as little time looking at the water, something she’d always thought to be a rare resource prior. The other girls were comforting, a bit, but Chimera hated the stuff now. She’d never get overtop of the water again if she could help it.

Back in the present, she had her sword and shield ready as she crept forward, towards a hole in front of them. “Fire. People here.” She said, looking down the hole nervously.

Melda had been silent for the entire journey, and Keera knew exactly why. Melda wanted to scold her decision to leave Kokiri forest to join 'that loud-mouth pirate'; a name that the girl thought quite harsh. The Great Deku Tree had apparently, in its omniscience, foretold of Yasmin's arrival, also knowing her intentions. When Keera and her fairy had been standing before their guardian, it uttered these words.

"I believe your company is sought, young healer. I hath received counsel that a woman would enter the woods seeking assistance. I could summon any of the Kokiri, but I have pre-ordained that you are the best choice. Do not feel obliged, young one, but will you go forth and meet this woman?"

Melda dared not say anything in defiance of The Great Deku Tree, but she was set against Keera leaving the forest. She wasn't ready! But of course, even now, standing at the foot of this cave, Melda knew what Keera's response would be. And just as the words of doubt left the fairy's mouth:

"But I cannot refuse The Great Deku Tree." Replying almost as if she were reading a line from a book of law. Melda was silent once more. Keera had found Chimera's wariness of water and of the boat they travelled on fascinating, and even more so her limited dialect. She only seemed to use important words, all the rest discarded like dying leaves from a branch.

Fire... Naturally, Keera was not keen on it. She had before been caught in the folds of a nightmare, which saw Kokiri Korest burning around her. She wasn't sure what would pose more of a threat though; that or the presence of people.

    "I am... Melda?"

"Fine, I'll go first." The green fairy replied grumpily, knowing Keera was too frightened to go first. Melda hovered by the entrance, awaiting command.

"Melda will." Keera relayed, just in case Yasmin hadn't heard. She wasn't really sure what to do with herself, so ran a hand along the wooden flute that was fastened to her belt.

"Attagirl!" Both of her servants walked in ahead of her, with the Kokiri explicitly stating that she'd go first, or rather, her fairy would, much to the ball of light's apparent displeasure and Yasmin's delight. "I knew I had the right people with me here!" When 'Melda,' if she had heard correctly, wasn't drawn into the shadows by a ghastly hand, the Gerudo stepped forward a little more confidently. She had figured this place would be protected by something...

But oh well. Inside the cave there was a hole leading down, which Yasmin confidently jumped down into. She wasn't worried about the landing at all. She'd had plenty of warrior's training in the Fortress of Thieves, and it had given her calves, hell, a lower body of steel. She landed hard, crouching upon hitting the floor, and stepped forward so the other two wouldn't land on top of her.

Putting her hands on her hips, she looked around. The Wind Temple looked quite nice, nice and natural. She could make a garden out of this place if she wanted to. Waiting for the other two to come down, she then pointed ahead of herself. "The way forward seems clear. Stay close to each other until we know it's safe to split up."

Chimera saw no reason to hesitate once Yasmin herself had dropped down into the hole, so she followed as well, not stopping at all once everyone was there. Chimera wordlessly walked into the next room, not really having the mindset to admire the room. She was still bothered by the water floaty… thing. She didn’t have time to think about it though, as the next room brought a new foe. When she walked to the edge of a large drop off, a creature manifested before her very eyes. She’d… never seen magic like that. Or much magic at all, really. He could move places without walking to them? An amazing skill… The beast itself was a robed figure with a bird head and a wand in hand.

She held a hand back to her teammates. “Stay. Chimera kill.” She then jumped down into the clearing, both monsters well aware of each other, but the sword wielding one took the initiative. She dashed forward, slashing twice as she neared the Wizzrobe. These slashes were far out of range, but they both sent power beams to her enemy, though it managed to warp away before being hit. Chimera started turning slowly, not wanting to be attacked by surprise.

Suddenly, lightning crackled behind her. Without even a thought, she turned and ducked behind her buckler, thrusting it forward, just in time to hit a strange orb back at the creature. The Wizzrobe, not expecting it’s spell to be returned to sender, was hit it. Electricity fizzled into its body and its arms slumped to the side, the head hung low.

Chimera instantly swung diagonally to both sides downwards, sending blades of energy and striding closer with each slash. The blades collided with the bird monster, making it recoil each time until Chimera dove forward, impaling it. With the Wizzrobe hilt deep on her blade, she ducked down a bit before springing up in a helm splitter, taking the enemy with her. She carried it for the first flip, but where she would normal slash down into a target’s skull, that motion was used to throw the Wizzrobe powerfully into the ground below. She landed just beside the creature, sure it was dead.

With a glance up at her teammates, she motioned forward with her hand, giving them the okay to follow. “Bird dead. Safe for move.”

Keera stumbled forwards as she landed from the drop. She wasn't unfit in any sense, but her legs weren't familiar with the shock of a rather large fall. The Kokiri ended up on one knee. Even though Melda was irritated with her, the fairy flew close, checking Keera for injuries as she stood up. After a brief look around, she was comforted by the presence of several small trees, although they were nothing compared to the towering giants of Kokiri Woods.

Upon the appearance of the Wizzrobe (the name of which Melda chimed into her ear.), Keera was fascinated. A strange creature shrouded in a robe, it seemed to have the head of a bird; she had never seen anything like it! When Chimera announced she was going to kill it, She didn't quite understand what, if any threat it posed. Although it became clear that the Wizzrobe was dangerous, Keera was astounded by Chimera's ferocity. Never before had she seen such... dare she say efficient, fighting. The enemy didn't stand for very long before it was despatched. She had been paying close attention and Chimera had not been hit, meaning she didn't have to heal anyone yet. Keera really hoped she wouldn't have to at all.

"Will there be a lot of creatures residing in here?" She asked, walking further into the room, Melda close by her side.

"Probably," Yasmin's voice rang out in reply to Keera. "If what we're looking for is here, I'm willing to bet my fortune that it's heavily guarded." She had watched while the other girl had taken care of the Wizrobe, effectively proving that if that girl kept her eyes open, Yasmin wouldn't have to do any fighting at all. "Hmmm..." further up ahead, the road seemed clear.

Looking over her shoulder at the Kokiri, the Gerudo walked on forward past Chimera, walking past a narrow corridor into the next part of the temple. As she strayed too far from the others, however, she felt her ankle getting grabbed and she gave a scream. Floormasters! There were bloody FLOORMASTERS in this place!

Technically she could give a good kick to get free, and then transform to get access to her knives, but she didn't want to give herself away this early. Worst-case scenario she'd end up elsewhere in the dungeon...

Chimera didn’t pay too much attention to the explaining side of the job. If she saw living things, she was there to ensure they didn’t stay that way. She shook her head, clearing it of any extra thoughts or words that made their way in there. The gerudo dare not put her sword away, lest something take them by surprise. And unfortunately, surprise was exactly what this place had in mind.

Before Yasmin’s scream had even fully passed her lips, Chimera’s hand flashed forward, smacking it away with a power beam from her blade. It seemed staggered, so Chimera leapt forward, slashing down with her jump strike. It cut the Floormaster in off at the wrist, the hand landing down and writhing. The writhing was soon ended by the sword being stabbed down into it. Chimera looked at Yasmin, no real emotion being seen on her face. “Behind Chimera. Not protect well if in front.”

Keera stayed close to Chimera in the corridor. It was peculiar, but the feral girl seemed to emit a sense of protection that the Kokiri found soothing. She was not a fan of how suddenly Chimera sprung into action, however. The movement surprised Keera, who could do nothing but blink as another strange monster was slain. She would not have believed it had she not witnessed it herself, but the creature had emerged from the floor! Keera didn't feel safe anymore.

"KEERA!" Melda practically shrieked, doing nothing to help the startled girl. Keera felt pressure on her waist, her arms free as her hands were hovering around her mouth. The girl looked down, seeing a dark protrusion from the ground that was wrapped around... her!

"Ahhhh!" Her legs pressed tightly together, Keera couldn't even attempt to escape the second floormaster's clutches. As she very swiftly descended into the floor, Melda darted into her master's blouse.

"Wait up, lass!" Yasmin, freed from her Floormaster attacker, ran towards where the Kokiri was being grabbed, but she was too late. Keera was dragged through the floor, off to destinations unknown. "Shit!" The Gerudo exclaimed, hitting the pillar next to where the Floormaster had appeared with her fist. Without their healer, this place had just become a whole lot more dangerous.

"Well, we're not gonna find her by sticking around here," she said, straightening herself and turning to Chimera. "You coming, sweetie?" She hopped up against the nearest wall, using her Wall Kick to gain altitude, and grabbed on to the higher-lain ledge. Actually, maybe it was a good thing that Keera was currently anywhere but in this room, for getting her up there would have been near impossible. Once on the ledge, Yasmin walked through an arch that led her to the next room. It was enormous and seemed to be circular, but most of the circle didn't have a floor. As the thief walked up to the edge and looked down, she realized she wasn't even at the lowest floor of the temple yet. "Holy mother of Din," she muttered, "That's a bigger hole than Ganon has in his butt."

    ------

In the meanwhile, Keera was dragged through the floor, the Floormaster dropping her from the ceiling of the room below where they had been prior. The sound she made upon hitting the floor was picked up by several largely harmless ChuChu's, who mostly just looked at her and didn't feel like attacking her. They were mostly green and red, although there was one yellow one in their midst.

When Keera didn't seem hostile, they turned back around, hopping closer together as if they were guarding something.

Chimera was surprised as Keera was taken, as she hadn’t realized there had been more than one floormaster. Once the Kokiri was gone though, she simply followed Yasmin. When they wall jumped up to the platform, Chimera noted that if needed in the future if they find the child, she could probably throw her to get her around obstacles like this one. As the Gerudo reached the massive hole in the ground, Chimera looked around the outside, seeing an assortment of vines.

She held one, tugging to test it’s strength. She turned to her boss, motioning to follow. “If fall, can save. Use skill to not hurt from ground.” Chimera put her sword away, climbing on the vines. And that.... was when she heard the keese. Keeping one hand on the vine, Chimera rotated her body, making long range punches with power beam towards the keese, but there were a lot of them.

Everything was pitch black as the Kokiri was pulled through the ground. Soon enough, she found herself back intact with her senses. The first thing she noticed was how much her backside hurt. As Keera crawled to her feet, Melda left her blouse, immediately chiming.

"Look at the size of those ChuChus!" Her vibrating body soon became still as those large, goofy eyes turned away from them.

The first thing Keera did was check the ground beneath her feet. It was solid, with no demonic hands in sight. Instinctively she glanced at the ceiling, all evidence of her passing through gone. What a predicament.

"Melda, how do we get back up there?" The healer asked, only briefly contemplating the presence of the gelatinous blobs that were huddling in the corner of the room.

"I'm not sure. I think we should just sit right here until Yasmin finds- KEERA!" Melda was flapping again, this time at the sight of her master walking towards the ChuChus. "Do you think I like screaming your name!?"

"Hmm?" She responded, looking around innocently. "They don't look very dangerous."

Yasmin let Chimera do her punching and tiring fighting while she, herself, clambered on the vines to the next indent in the wall. It wasn't tiring in the least, her arms and legs having grown strong due to her training and her body light enough to not strain the vines. Once she reached the other side, she checked around for enemies. Other than some idle Peahats within dagger range, she saw nothing, and even the Peahats didn't seem to feel like attacking her.

She did see something of interest, however. "Ohh, lookie here." She walked up to the wall, in front of which stood a large, ceiling-high and smooth stone with an incantation carved into it. Yasmin, who had abandoned pure combat training in favor of more delicate fields after her basic training, started speaking the incantation, but nothing happened. "Huh." She bent forward, putting her hands on her knees as she investigated the incantation more thoroughly. "I guess it's only half there?" she muttered, "That would make sense. But it definitely means something's behind that rock!" She slammed her fist onto her palm. "Chimy!" she shouted, cheerful at the prospect of goodies, "Change of plans! We're going down, but slowly!" She rushed back to the vines, jumping onto them and grabbing on to them. "I don't want to miss anything on our way down!"
