Hyrule was an amazing sort of place; the kind that, for no particular reason at all, you could find yourself trapped in a different version-- or a completely different world entirely--with something as simple as the blink of an eye. Ariala never knew the circumstances underwhich one of these strange transportations took place. They were always sudden, and they didn't care at all about what Ariala was doing.

She remembered feeling the wind underneath her wings. Soaring across the Eastern Sea toward Dragon Roost and her grotto. A long day of adventuring had finished, and she just wanted to get home. However, the goddesses had other plans, and while one moment she found herself flying over clear waters and under blue skies, the next she was making a beeline straight into a wooden slab.

    THUNK!

Ariala's head made a dull thud against the wood, and she crashed into a heap of feathers and confusion on the forest floor. Forest?!

Standing up she felt her forehead. Just shaken...no concussions or bleeding. Not even a bruise, although she expected there might be one later on. Still feeling her head for injuries, she twirled around to take in her surroundings. A lush, beautiful forest unlike anything she had ever seen. The air was mysterious in nature, smelling of mushrooms and damp moss.

"Well...I guess it's time for another adventure..." she whispered to herself, turning back to the slab she had crashed into.

Rogue really wasn't certain how she got in the forest but didn't quest it too much, she instead just walked around and soaked in the environment. She had never been in such an environment and there didn't seem like many things were here to steal unless you had some sort of plant fetish or something. She heard a loud thud and saw a Rito crash into the wall and fall to the ground. Bingo, she thought as she started to run over there to check for the wallet of the victim.

When she got there she was disappointed to realize that it was a very conscious Female Rito. She tried to play off the running over there as fear, "Are you okay? I heard a thud and I saw you fall." Over the years she has gained quite the believable poker face and was confident she was not found out. The door to the temple suddenly opened up as Rogue jumped backwards and grabbed her knife for protection. On the other side of the door stood a monkey with a bow in it's hair that made a weird noise before running into the abyss. "Monkey?"

If only Rogue knew how similar her and Ariala were. Maybe she wouldn't have been so quick to try and lift things from Ariala's pockets. Not that Ariala had a lot. She really didn't own much of anything save for like fifteen rupees (which was a really sad life savings). Anyway, Ariala was none the wiser about Rogue's motives, and actually greeted the Gerudo with a comforting smile and warm eyes, like embers of a dying fire.

"Oh hi, thanks for your concern but I promise you I'm okay. Anyway, I'm thinking this place is cool for an adventure, so do you want to come with me?!" she said with excitement. Ariala moved her hands a lot when she talked, and she also had a tendency to say everything really quickly. It was obvious that she didn't ever like to be still. Even when the monkey came through the door, Ariala was quick to squeal with joy and chase after it. "Come on Gerudo person!"

OOC: Just so you know, Chaos, you don't have to reply to everything Ariala says. You mentioned wanting to just stalk Ariala, and that's fine. You can ignore her questions or calling or whatever you want to do, ya know?

The invitation rung in Rogue's ears as she contemplated what was best to do. Inside such a strange looking building was sure to hold great treasures even if it was just some rupees but what was with the monkeys? She didn't have the time to think so she ran into the temple. Inside was the monkey up on an elevated ledge on the other side of the room. The room was full of a bad odor smelling an awful lot like Mogure Swamp, maybe that is where they were.

There was a liquid that looked disgusting to touch even more so to drink in the center of the room with several platforms floating atop it. The water had a purple hue to it and judging from the gunk that splashed onto the platform it had a strange consistency. Rogue approached the platforms as three Deku Baba sprouted from a small plant on the platforms. Looks like they are going to have to fight them to get near the door.

Years of living in Dragon Roost's clear enviroment could never have prepared her for the swampy smell that assailed her senses. Ariala had never been anywhere even remotely swamp-like; the worst smell that she could think of was burning feathers (which, after traversing Dragon Roost Cavern, she had much experience with and could say with confidence that it wasn't a pleasant smell). The thought of all the treasure that must be hidden in a place so smelly was just the thing that kept her from flying out the way she came.

"Eww, this place is disgusting." she said plainly, not noting if Rogue had followed her or not. She had assumed that most people were interested in adventures like her by now, even if it wasn't to the same extent. Ariala always thought aloud too.

The monkey that she chased into the temple stood on a ledge on the otherside of the room. Ariala had to wonder how the monkey got up there; the ledge was so high, and as far as she could tell, she was the only one with wings. It seemed to want her to help it with something. It just continued to stare at her...oh, and Rogue too, she noticed, turning to see the Gerudo observing the room.

"Hmm...observant...that's a fantastic adventuring quality. I bet she's found tons of treasure all across Hyrule..." Ariala thought.

She followed suit and took a more careful look around. A foul liquid with a purple hue covered most of the room. Platforms floated across. Ariala discovered that the liquid wasn't exactly water either; some splashed onto a platform and remained stuck like goo. She decided it would probably be best not to touch the stuff.

Suddenly, Rogue moved toward the platforms. Deku Babas rose from plants on each one, and Ariala instinctively reached for her boomerang, pulling it quickly from its holster like a pistol in a western. Feeling her grip tighten around the polished wood, she aimed and threw it at the closest baba, separating head from stem in one swift motion. Ariala giggled with delight as the boomerang whirled its way back to her, a small blue rupee nestled in the crook.

Barely pausing to slip the money into her satchel, she jumped onto the platform as it floated away toward the next baba. "Come on!" her voice rang through the room as she started to drift away from Rogue.

Rogue was more of a thinker than a fighter. Whereas she could jump on the platform and risk the Baba knocking her into the possibly toxic water, she would rather find an alternate route around such a trap. She noticed some moss hanging on the walls on either side of this 'temple'. The moss seemed like it could be grabbed a hold of by someone as petite as Rogue. So there she had it, a way to avoid the Baba's. Rogue slowly climbed the side of the wall to get to the ledge the monkey was on, she didn't feel too bad about leaving the bird woman behind because she knew that she could always fly to get to the same destination.

Rogue wasn't calculating on pulling on a thick of moss only to have it come out of the wall and awaken a nest of sleeping Skullwalltula. They seemed poisonous with their purple fangs that almost match the liquid. She panicked and didn't know what to do as she began swatting at them with her knife. They overwhelmed her though so she had no choice but to jump in the 'water' and hope for the best. But wait, hope may have arrived. One of the platforms with a Baba on it was floating near where she was. If she jumped at the right moment she could land on the unsuspecting plant. The Skullwalltulas were getting harder to fend away so she had to make the leap of faith. While she was in the air the Deku Baba looked up at her and made a strange face with it's mouth before being cut directly in half with Rogue landing safely on the platform.
