The Wings of a Pegasi

After boarding for the night Rogue decided to travel south toward the new town she had heard of called Impa. She was sure there was a pub there where she could seduce some loathsome fellow into giving her whatever she wants. She projected that she would be there by nightfall which would be perfect for her considering that would be the time most of the men got off work.

She wanted to try out her new shoes that the ranchers gave her, ha to think they expected her services for free. She had heard old lore about boots that allowed the caster to run at neckbreaking speeds. She squeezed them onto her feet and continued with her walk and nothing seemed different. She began to consciously wonder how to activate them, which is all it took for her to go flying at nearly 40 mph. She was only traveling this speed for about thirty second and had already traveled a quarter of a mile away. As she contemplated how to stop them, they did just that. As she stopped she caught her breathe and looked behind her to realize how far she had gone in such a short distance. She could tell that she couldn't do that nonstop because it would take too much out of her. She also wondered if she could gain more control of the trajectory. Irregardless she wouldn't dare test it for another hour or so.

Rogue finally arrived in Impa as the dusk began to set in. She began to pick a lock in a local store as she stole some food to due her over for the night. She attempted to leave the place just as she came upon it. She then broke into a building near the dock and used it to keep her for the night.
