The Risen
As if the ongoing conflict between Ylisse and Plegia isn't bad enough, both the continents of Valm and Ylisse have a second problem to worry about.

'The Risen' is a name given to the new threat, which comes to the lands in the form of hordes of living corpses. What animates them is unknown, but a fact is that the Risen are as variable in strength as normal humans are, and that they come wielding weapons, magic, even staves of all sorts. They are foes to be reckoned with, as even the lesser ones can outmatch any normal man, and they appear in groups, never operating alone.

They seem to have no consciousness or goals, but actively seek out human settlements and groups to attack. It is unknown whether Risen feed on humans, for no one has stuck around for long enough to find out and the phenomenon is still relatively new.

As enemies
Risen will likely be the staple enemy in the roleplay, so it's important to note that Risen use the same levels and classes as humans do. A level 5 Myrmidon Risen will be at the same level as a human level 5 Myrmidon. They can wield customized weapons, but you don't have to go out of your way to give them any.

However, certain Risen use a unique class. These classes are the Revenant and the Entombed.

Revenant
Promotes to: Entombed.
Weapons: Claws.
This class is restricted to Risen.
Hunks of rotten flesh in the vague shape of a human body. Revenants are hulking figures that have decayed so far that they can no longer wield weaponry and have instead grown vicious claws which they use to attack.

Entombed
Promoted from: Revenant.
Weapons: Claws.
This class is restricted to Risen.
Even bigger than their Revenant brethren and with a golden-like tint to their rotten flesh, Entombed are amongst the most powerful Risen there are. They rend human flesh with razor-sharp claws, and despite the rotten state of their flesh, they're very tough.
