Again, the enemy approached the injured Horus- however this time, Luna was fast enough to intercept him. She'd finished conjuring up her ice pike, and gave it a nasty shove, sending it tumbling towards where the enemy had appeared. The two crashed into each other with a loud noise, the ice pike shattering and releasing Luna's cold mana onto the enemy. the frostbite slowed the enemy down enough that they could see what it was.

It looked most like another Garo, except with an elaborate headdress and purple robes, as well as flaming blades. Horus got to his feet, leaning on Luna, and reached for his sword. When the Garo attacked again, this time he was slow enough that Horus could swipe his weapon out, connecting it with the Garo's chest between his two extended blades.

The enemy jumped upwards toward the ceiling, disappearing from view.

As Phiorra saw Horus move in to attack the Garo, she hesitated in her archery. Horus was.... unpredictable to say the least, and she didn't want to hit him with a stray arrow. Their foe jumped up high though, vanishing from view. As Phiorra went onto high guard, she heard all but a single tick on the stone behind her. Whipping around with her spirit arms activated, she blocked the initial slash, and the flurry that came after it. She wasn't even getting the opportunity to counterattack...

Just as she saw an opening, she lunged her blade forward, striking at nothing. The garo master had jumped up again, to come down where he pleased. She turned towards her teammates with an exasperated face. "It's... It's a guerrilla fighter! We need to group together!" The priestess started running towards the group, wanting to ensure they could cover eachother's backs.

"Actually, grouping together may be the most stupid thing to do in this situation." Frederick pondered out loud. "If he can see us, but we can't see him, he'll just land in our midst and pick us off. There's no telling if he has a spin attack or something of the like."

"Besides," Bertrand added to the sorcerer's words, "Horus can't move quickly with that leg, and don't even think about taking the wound from him." At least Horus could take a hit, unlike what he knew about priestesses.

"Anyone have a really fast, really powerful counter that could take him out in one hit?" Horus asked, still leaning on Luna. "If not, this could drag on forever, and I can't pull off Dad's move like this."

"If you mean the Mortal Draw," Bertrand said, "You can't pull that one off period." He raised one hand when Horus opened his mouth to protest. "Let's not have this argument now. He's coming!" This time coming from across the ground, the Garo Master realized too late that he'd made a potentially fatal mistake- instead of crashing his blades into Horus, he was struck in the chest by Bertrand's axe, flying back and dripping blood over the floor.

He tried to jump up, but was too weakened to do it, so Horus readied his crossbow, instead. He figured that the combination of the attacks that they HAD managed to land on him had finally proven too much for him, and the redhead was just about ready to finish it.
