OoC: This is the starting of the adventures of my young Deku Warrior. This is open for anyone to join, so if you have any characters that you would like to bring in and join this little guy on his soon to be grand adventures, bring him in and let's start a series!

BiC: A young Deku Warrior came out of his hole in the ground and now stood up, stretching himself before he stopped. He didn't want to stretch his wooden body out too much. There was a danger that his body might crack. Being made of wood was not fun all the time. He could float in water real easy and he certainly was immune to bug bites. However, he could very easily burn up and his wounds took far longer to heal than normal.

He gazed up into the leaves, looking at the patches of sunlight that streamed in with rays that hit the ground. He never did get tired of seeing the scenery in the canopy of the Lost Woods. He looked around, looking for the small landmarks that he had placed against the trees and now he began to go back on his patrol in the Lost Woods, making sure that there were no troublemakers.

There had not been a problem with many evil things or trouble makers. Most of the evil things stayed far out of the way of the Lost Woods. The reason was that they could get lost forever and never find their way out if they did not have proper guidance. Adults who entered the forest often had that happen to them and became Stalfos that roamed the forest endlessly. They usually stayed near the borders, so if you could get in, then getting out was that much harder. Not that he ever had problems fighting them off.

There also were the occasional Skull Kids roaming the area, playing their flutes and making wonderful and simple music. It was the soundtrack of the forest and this young Deku Warrior never did grow bored of it. However, things were about to change for him today in ways that he could not possibly imagine.

OoC: I need to ask, can I say that the Great Deku Tree put him off of duty there and he was no longer limited to the forest? Or can an admin come in and do that?

OoC: Thanks. Now to get the main sequence started...

BiC: The deku suddenly received a message that was fluttering on the wind. He reached up and took it and as he began to read it, he gasped. It was a letter of release, written by a helper fairy of the Great Deku Tree himself. It released him from duty, intending for him to leave the forest and find adventure and find his true self out there.

"How?" he asked himself. "How am I supposed to thrive out there? All that I have ever known is the forest," he muttered, dropping the letter before he turned to the edge. It was there, waiting now for him to leave so that he could explore the open world. He looked at the letter again and just knew now that his life was going to change. He looked between the inside of the forest and the edge and then he said, "I hope that this is no joke."

Gingerly, he started towards the forest's edge. Upon reaching it, he dared to peer out of the forest. It was a large, lonesome place out there. He groaned, and just sat at the very edge, wondering what else that there was to do and whether he should just go out and start to explore. There was the whole of Hyrule there for him to explore if he wished it...
