When played around sapient races that have knowledge of dancing, the song inspires a completely resistible urge to dance, and assists in a manner similar to the song of healing for removing negative emotions, although while the song of healing invites acceptance of the negative so as to deal with it, the Song of Spright is a reminder of the positive, and if used to cheer a significantly morose individual, said individual will return to their previous demeanour after the effects of the song wear off. Second, if the area is heavily wooded, or otherwise is a hotspot for Faeries, they will be drawn to the performer and will happily communicate if they speak a common language. Third, all individuals with a Dark Affinity, or otherwise are twisted from the natural norm will be repulsed by this song, and will find it a literal pain to listen to. It fatigues said individuals somewhat, to at most half the degree to which it would revitalise. Modifier/Other Song; Dire Dirge The complete inverse of the Song of Sprite, this song may be used to drain the energies of those nearby, sapping and fatiguing not only those how hear the song, but those near to the performer as well, including the performer themselves. Individuals with an affinity for the dark feel the complete opposite, as the drain is twisted through their warped energies to draw the drained energies into themselves. They are affected as a normal being would by the song of Spright. Two additional effects result; All Faeries will have an aversion to the location this piece was performed for a full day after the performance, conquerable but only for good reason, and undead are drawn to the location much as Faeries are drawn to the song of Spright, convivial to the performer but to no others without good reason. Note; a character with Dark Affinity may not learn Song of Spright, only Dire Dirge. If a character that knows the Song of Spright later obtains dark affinity, their knowledge of the Song of Spright is converted and warped into knowledge of the Dire Dirge.
