    PWC: 4/1/5.
    Class: Fighter.
    Alignment: True Neutral.

    Skills, Spells, and Abilities
    Racials
    - Claws: Like any other Lizalfos, Dinolfos, or Aeralfos, Silver has hands ending in vicious, sharp claws that make attacking and digging, or even cutting stems, incredibly easy. He keeps them surprisingly clean, as he uses them to work with fragile seeds.
    - Winged Flight: Silver was born with a rare mutation of the Lizalfos race, which gives him two leathery wings on his back. While they have to be constantly flapped, they're very strong and reliable.
    - Scent: Silver has an extraordinary sense of scent; not only can he sniff out a source of food from an insane distance, he can literally smell fear, magic, and even violence.

    Miscellaneous
    - Wind Breath: Whereas most Lizalfos are capable of breathing fire, Silver appears to have another mutation or a defect in that he cannot ignite his breath. However, he is capable of orally producing an incredibly powerful gale.
    - Thrice: Silver is not a mage by any stretch of the imagination, but by visualisation and sheer strength of will, he is capable of splitting a thrown javelin in three before it fully leaves his claw.
    - Botany 1: With his lack of hunting skill forcing him to forage, Silver has grown more knowledgeable on fruits, seeds, and herbs than he would care to admit. If given pure, good specimens, he may be able to perform some interesting experiments with them...

    Inventory
    Weapons
    - Javelin: A rather unsophisticated weapon, the Javelin that Silver carries with him is built from a wood shaft and a crude stone spearhead. He can sometimes be seen trying to spear a fish with it, but with his lack of success, he associates the weapon more with fighting off intruders.
    - Shield: A crude wooden shield that consists of a large chunk of wood with a hollow that Silver can slip his claw into. It's undecorated and shows signs of moss growth.

    Personal Information
    Appearance:
Silver has quite an unusual appearance for a Lizalfos. He isn't as tall as his kin, standing only five feet and ten inches when straightening himself out as opposed to towering over Hylians. In addition, he's bony, with particularly thin hind legs and a long neck compared to those of other Lizalfos. This works in his favour, however, as the lesser bulk keeps him light in weight, and as such he is very agile and nimble, easily capable of slipping into small crevices and through small cracks. He also has good endurance, and is capable of outrunning and outlasting far bigger and more athletically built foes than himself.

Silverscale's given name comes from his colouring, as he is covered head to toe in leathery, rectangular scales. They seem to shimmer in a greenish shade when light hits them under the right angle, but under most angles, they appear as a silvery white. Exception to this are the relatively large, spiked spikes that pop up all over his spine, black in colour. His last name, Flapperback, is not taken from his family (not in the last place because he has no idea who they are) but from a rare mutation that he was given at birth; from his shoulderblades sprout a pair of large, leathery wings that are capable of lifting him up and carrying him through the air. Silver is agile and skilled in flying, capable of carrying out risky and quick manoeuvres without a second thought. The membranes are black in colour, while the muscular limbs they are attached to are covered in the same silver scales as the rest of his body.

Lizalfos don't wear much in the way of clothing, and Silver is no exception to that: all he wears is a red loincloth around his waist, with black tribal markings around the hem. He maintains it well, however, and has hung strings of his own shed claws and fangs around his waist as well as he doesn't want to throw them away. Around his wrists and ankles, he also wears wooden bracelets and anklets, with a few brightly red-dyed feathers sticking out of them.

    Personality:
Most Lizalfos are deceptively clever, but Silver isn't most Lizalfos. He is every bit as simple as he seems, to the point where he has never learned a skill vital to the survival of his kind: to hunt. He picked up the ability to fly decently quickly, in part because he didn't like the limp membranes of his wings constantly slapping in his face, and can wield a lance and shield decently well, but while he can track and recognise the scent of prey, he is entirely inept at outwitting said prey or even trapping it. His impatience makes slower methods of hunting impractical, as well, so he is utterly useless for gathering live prey.

However, Silver is very self-aware and knows that he isn't smart. As such, he's obedient to people smarter than him, trusting that they know what they're doing and that they wouldn't tell him to do things that are dangerous or stupid. In addition, his simple nature gives him a very mild temper and he is easy to get along with; so he gets along with most of the inhabitants of Monster Village. Most of them are always willing to share or trade meat with him, in exchange for something that Silver does have an uncanny knack for finding and gathering; seeds, fruits, and herbs. Silver can sniff them out from an insane distance, using his Wind Breath to knock them out of high places, and his impressive sense of smell to root out 'bad ones' and bring the good ones back for the herbivorous and omnivorous inhabitants of the village.

On orders of smarter people, Silver will also happily offer his wings and his nose to the protection of the people who have always been so nice to him, joining the groups of sentries that guard the village and drive off intruders. He doesn't like fighting, but when he sees the sense in the battle (which usually only takes a little bit of rhetoric from superiors), he will crash himself into it with perhaps more passion than sensibility. However, despite his simplicity, it cannot be denied that Silver is brave. Or perhaps he's too stupid to be cowardly. It should be noted that like other Lizalfos, Silver is capable of speaking a little Hylian- however, he does so in broken sentences, using poor grammar and simple words that make him look and sound even less intelligent than he is. When contacted through means such as the Language of Fauna, however, he is startlingly articulate.

    Story
    Backstory:
Silver’s life has been rather insignificant, despite his mutations. He was one of a batch of at least ten eggs, and the only one to hatch with wings and silver scales, after which he was named. Like his siblings, he had no noteworthy skills other than his flight, which he learnt to master rather early on. It came to him almost instinctively; flapping his wings eventually lifted him off the ground, and by observing other Aeralfos, he learnt how he could change direction, dive, crash land, and perform certain tricks. This didn’t come without pain, obviously- the crashes far outnumber his successful flying sessions.

Despite his flight, Silver was not a good hunter. What prey he could find in Ikana quickly outwitted him and eluded him, and Silver instead turned to the only prey dumber than him- fruits, berries, seeds, and plants. His teeth weren’t suitable to eating these things, but other inhabitants of Monster Village liked him and some of them often came to him and offered to trade a bird or a rabbit for a bucket of berries or a few fruits. Over time, Silver grew to be proud of his foraging skills and stopped minding his inability to hunt.

It wasn’t long after dedicating himself to foraging that Silver discovered that in yet another way, he was different from the others. Like all Lizalfos, he had the necessary organs to breathe fire, but when he tried to bellow out flames, instead a powerful gale of nothing but air came out; however, it was strong enough to knock half of the tree’s fruit to the ground, so Silver decided to stick with it and not bother learning how to ignite his flames.

A few years later, Silver found a few large pieces of wood lying about and saw that some Moblins were carrying around spears made of the stuff. Testing the larger and thicker plank of wood by bringing it down on his head a few times, he decided that he was satisfied with how sturdy it was and used his claws to carve out a hollow in one side that he could slip his left hand into. Now, the wood could protect him from Tektites that tried to latch onto him and weigh him down or birds that tried to peck him out of the skies.

The other piece, a large branch, was harder to work with, and took several days of work before Silver had managed to fashion it into a small stick like the ones the Moblins used as spears. Finding a suitable rock, he whittled it down and traded a handful of seeds for a piece of twine to tie the rock to the stick so he had a makeshift spear of his own. Now capable of defending himself, he was sometimes asked to keep non-sentient monsters and humans out of the village.

Commonly hearing a particularly large Aeralfos with a metal helmet shout ‘Thrice’ before throwing not one, but three spears down at once, Silver tried to emulate her with little success until she told him the secret- he had to believe the spear would split off into threes as he shouted, and it would. It took him several weeks of practice before his belief was strong enough, but he finally got the hang of it and found it made him much better in battle. With the help of this spell, he even managed to kill his first own Guay.

Other than the odd attack, nothing of significance tends to hit Monster Village, so Silver lives his life in peace, trying to improve his woodworking with any piece of bark and wood he can find. He’s still trying to learn and eat fruit, not really understanding WHY his teeth make it so difficult to eat something that other inhabitants of the village tear into with such gusto.

Kind of nervous about my first grading, but everything here seems to check out, so... I'll just move this along to accepted.
