Here are the rules for using the Shoutbox. If you want to use the Shoutbox, you will be expected to follow these rules. If you do not, you will be disciplined accordingly; the bigger the offense, the longer the ban. The Cbox is meant to be a center for the forum's community, and while some of you may find these things acceptable and totally fine, others will not, and ultimately may leave the forums because of them, so please follow these rules. 1- No foul language. To say them is not acceptable. If any of your posts have swear words in them you are going to hear from the staff. If it gets out of hand you will be disciplined. 2- Do not speak of inappropriate things in the Shoutbox. This includes but is not limited too: speaking of sexual things, porn, hentai, etc... If you wish to speak about these things keep it to site PM's or gmail, skype, or something other than the site Shoutobx. Also do not post links to such things. Basically, if you wouldn't want your parents to see or hear it, don't do it here. 3- Do not call other users names, degrade other users, or put them down in any way. There is no place for this, at all. Period. No one deserves being put down, and no ones being called a name just because you are angry or frustrated with them. Take step back and keep it to yourself. 4- You MUST use your forum name in the Shoutbox. Do not use a variant of your forum name, do not use a nickname other members have given you, or any other such situation that you might think is acceptable. While most people will know who you are, not everyone will, and I would like to keep the forums and the Shoutbox orderly and this will help. 5- Do not use animated gifs as your forum avatar. I know this one is kind of hard, I myself would like to use one, but using them in the Shoutbox with its fast past in posting will slow down some computers and browsers. We want everyone to have an enjoyable time here and it is incredibly frustrating and no fun when your browser is slow because of this. 6- Do not use large pictures in your avatars. The Shoutbox itself re-sizes them to 45x45 pixels, however if the image is excessively large it has to work harder every time you post to shrink it down to this size and show it. This also slows down browsers and is frustrating, so if you really want to use the picture, shrink it down to a more manageable size, such as 100x100. 7- Do not post rapidly or spam in the Shoutbox. If you do this the Shoutbox will auto ban you for one week. If this happens you will have to explain the situation to the staff to ask for an unban. 8- If a staff tells you to stop doing something, or reminds you of the rules, listen to them and do not carry it on just to be difficult or "funny." Doing this will earn you a harsher punishment. However, if a staff member is doing something or telling you something that you feel is not right or they are abusing their power, please send me a message on the forums with a screenshot or copy paste of what went on and I will deal with it appropriately. 9- Do not fight with each other in the Shoutbox. If there is something you need to discuss with each other or an issue you need to solve, take it to a private place such as the PM system here, skype, gmail, or some other form of communication.
