Here are the rules that you need to become familiar with and abide.

    1) First and foremost, listen to the staff. If they tell you you need to change something or that you need to stop doing something, please do as they say.

    2) Do not make a character or start role playing without reading the Storyline/History of Hyrule. Doing this will not get you on the good side of the staff, especially me. If you don't read the storyline I can assure you that you will do something or say something in your character sheet or in your role playing that seriously conflicts with the story and history. Even though there are links to it everywhere, here it is again: History of Hyrule.

    3) Do not put anything into your character sheet or role playing that effects the world of Hyrule in a major way without permission. This would include saying that a large monster or army of some nature attacks a village burning several buildings etc... Or saying that an important figure dies, or anything like this. This also includes creating towns, cities, nations, or any other sort of location that does not exist on the map. Also includes making or mentioning races that do not exist in Hyrule such as elves, dwarves, orcs, aliens, robots, or whatever other crazy thing your imagination could conjure up.

    4) Do not use a spell or item that you do not have in your possession. This includes spells, abilities, and items you must purchase with rupees in order to posses. Doing this will get you arrested by the Hyrule Castle Guard, and put into a jail cell stripped of your possessions and devoid of your magic. The length of this sentence will be determined by case.

    5) Do not God-mod. What is God-modding you ask? Here is a definition: "God Moding : Roleplaying in-character but ignoring all rules of the roleplay, dictating what happens to other roleplayers' characters, making their own character a super-being who can't die. Generally used to describe a character being roleplayed in battle situations (e.g. every attack they perform hits, they dodge every attack directed at them, they are unfairly powerful compared to other characters)." If you break this rule, you will be arrested by the Hyrule Castle Guard, and put into a jail cell stripped of your possessions and devoid of your magic. The length of this sentence will be determined by case.

    6) Do not break the laws of physics, and do not perform illogical things. Illogical things would be having a deku scrub who is as strong as a goron, or a goron who is as agile as a deku scrub. Another example would be jumping from a tall tower and not getting hurt, or fighting a large group of monsters and killing them all without a scratch. Your role playing needs to be realistic and logical.

    7) You must provide links to all of your characters in your signature.

    8) List all of the treasures your character has acquired in each respective characters character sheet. Not following this rule may lose you those treasures.

    9) Use proper grammar and spelling. If you do not you will forever be a HC Newbie.

    10) Keep the swearing to a minimum.

Things about Hyrule you need to abide by in your role plays.

    1) Hyrule is HUGE. 320 miles x 320 miles (including the eastern sea). So traveling isn't going to be super quick, when you are traveling between distances please keep this in mind. An average amount of travel per day without interruption would be around 50 miles, so keep this in mind as you travel.

    2) Traveling from Southern Hyrule to Northern Hyrule and vice versa is VERY difficult. You either have to go through the Great Sea (and keep in mind that boats are very scarce,) or you have to travel over the mountains. Traveling over the mountains will be very challenging, for you have to take into consideration the terrain, as well as the possible moblins and other monsters roaming the mountains.
