Appearance: Phyra is a voluptuous fair skinned woman at the height of around six feet. She has straight golden hair that, when not in a bun, goes down to the small of her back. Her bangs lay next to her bright blue eyes which sit center front on her round face. Her clothing is rather plan, due to her devotion to her faith. She us normally garbed in her red habit with matching veil and black leather shoes which are hidden by the bottom of her habit.

Personality: To the common Hylians of Castle Town Phyra would appear as any other sister. Kind, caring and a devout believer of the Golden Goddeses and of the patron deity Hylia herself. Of the Golden Goddesses it is Din to whom Phyra holds in the utmost regard. It is her spontaneous prophecy that has made her believe that Din has touched her for she controls power, and information is a form of power.

Though Din is not the only goddess she holds highly for she loves Hylia almost as much. It is this unbridled love turned zeolotism that has warped her into beliving that Hylians, and those who hold similar appearances, are just better. For starters their anatomy makes more since why do fish have chests if they have no use for them? Why do the seemingly genderless rocks have nipples? Her belief they were trying to mimic the perfection of the hylian form.

Background: Phyra was born of a hardworking soldier for her mother, and a merchant for a father and her name was originally Minerva. Their household was one of faith. Faith in each other, faith in the Golden Goddesses, and faith in Hylia. So it was only natural that from a young age Phyra became one of strong faith. Though she did get some bad traits from her parents as well. Her mother had to deal with thieves and what not of the other races and her father talked about how those same groups always tried to give him a raw deal. This put it into her mind that Hylians were just better.

Most of her childhood was plagued by what she believed to be nightmares, but no matter the amount of prayers they had that they would end, they wouldn't. This was until it came to ahead one day when she had a nightmare of a purple flame enveloping her parents. At first it was thought to be a normal nightmare until one night a man broke into their house with malicious intent and in, cold blood, killed her parents. The stranger was unaware of Phyra herself so she lived now as an orphan.

Rather than be put up for adoption she wanted to be apart of the Golden Godesses temple. She had always loved going there with her parents so it felt right to the young girl. When she explained her nightmare turned reality to the sisters at the temple they all explained that it was not mere coincidence. No the goddesses had touched her and gave her the gift of prophecy.

After this revelation she prayed to Din, goddess of power, to bestow upon her power capable of defending herself. Either by her own talent, which one could say the goddesses bestowed upon her at birth, or divine intervention her prayer was seemingly answered as one day she accidentally created a spark of fire out of thin air.

It was sign to the young girl and she devoted her life to master flames. As a sign she formally changed her name to Phyra. She had a goal to learn all she can about fire and how to control it. Her pure fanaticism made her believe that Din had chosen her for something. If not an Oracle, than perhaps a saviour of some kind. The specifics were of little importance to her for she knew the Goddesses would guild her down her path.

Over the years she would practice day in and day out to hone this ability. First to cast it and then to control it. Though controlling fire is no easy task and just learning the basics took several years, and while she understands some of the more advanced techniques putting them into practice has proven difficult. Though she holds firm that she will master it. In the mean time to cover for her lack of magical power she procured a fire rod from an old associate of her father. One that was more than willing to aid the daughter of his old friend.

Though recently she has had another vision one of a golden flame spreading across Hyrule. Phyra believes that this is Din's way of telling her to travel across the lands and so she sets off for adventure.
