    Honor: Regular

    Name: Orek'nar Kron

    Age: 50

    Gender: Male

    Race: Goron

Place of Origin: Refugee of the Goron Slums

    P/W/C: 3/1/3

    Treasures :chest: : 100 Rupees

    Abilities: Stone Skin, Goron Punch

    Height: 7'4''

    Weight: 450lbs

Equipment: Hero-Tribute Hat, Sumo Fundoshi, Leather Gauntlets

Appearance: Orek'thar is a Goron well in to his adulthood. A lifetime of battle, training and drinking has left his body large and muscular, even for one of his kin. His stony back raises and falls like sharp spires from a mountain range broken, sundered and remade from an age of war.
His stone-like hair bursts back from his head like flame and a single, pointed goatee spikes from below his large, furrowed lip.

His attire is both simple, typical and unique at the same time. He wears next to nothing, believing the Goron body is itself like armour and that anything extra is a hinderence of one's own bodily growth. Around his wrists, he wears large vambraces of leather which he uses to help grip large objects when lifting them. His waist and lower body are left bare save for a single, think fundoshi commonly worn by the warriors and wrestlers of his kin.

Perhaps the most unusual and unlikely aspect of his attire is a long, red, Kokiri-like hood beginning upon his forehead and continuing far below his back.

Personality: Orek'nar is a presence perhaps more heard and felt than seen, which says much for his character. He is loud by nature and is infamous around Hyrule Town for practically shouting everything he has to say. Though his life-mission and the tragedies of his past burden him greatly, he remains in good spirits and has a fairly jovial, if not boisterous nature. Despite his friendly manner, he often reacts violently and without compromise when faced with insult and abuse from his Hylian neighbors, sometimes going as far as actively chasing them through the streets before they manage to give him the slip. This notoriety of his abrasive nature has granted him a wide berth when walking the streets of Hyrule Town, seldom being attacked by any who know him or at least know of him.

Orek'nar relishes the fight and lives for the challenge. No mountain is too tall for him to climb, no enemy too large for him to fell, no fear great enough to stop him.
He is driven with but a single, solid purpose. To re-take Death Mountain from the clutches of the Shadow that had driven them out.

With fists of stone and a heart of fire, Orek'nar would break the brittle defences of evil and wrestle the shadow in a final battle that would determine the fate of his people. Or so he thinks.
This fate he has decided for himself has made Orek'nar as stalwart as ever and, despite the unrest of his fellow Hyrulians regarding the possible coming of war, he is set upon his quest to fight for his people.

Orek'nar's fate is one of fire and death, and he would meet it head-on if he must.

Residence: Commonly spending his time in a local dive of an Inn named the "Dodongo's Cavern", Orek'nar seldom stays at home, which is little more than an old section of sewer plating held aloft by a few branches. Actively training all day in the open fields, Orek'nar's life is one of few attachments, though he longs still for his city home.

    Pet: None

Backstory: Born in the Goron City fifty years ago, Orek'nar enjoyed a fairly happy upbringing upon the face of the great mountain. His father and mother were respectable rock farmers, often plunging in to the mountain's most hazardous depths in search of the land's finest foods.
This early life of adventure and trepidation saw Orek'nar grow to be strong among his childhood friends, enjoying play-fighting and mountain climbing even as a small child.
Even in these happy times though, his parents began to show their worry. Signs of darkness befell the mountainsides and it was not long before the Goron people readied their defenses for a mounted assault on their city.

By the time the Evil King laid siege to the mountain, Orek'nar had come of age and was able to stand by his battle-brothers at the walls of the stone-city. As the dark forces of the Gerudo King broke through the Goron defenses, Orek'nar fought rock and nail against the hordes of Moblins and the dark creatures that laid siege to the city.
In a final moment of desperation, Orek'nar's parents demanded he flee the city and protect his people. He swore to them he would return. He would return for them, for the city, for the mountain and for the birth rite of the Gorons.

As he made his way down the mountainpaths and towards the vast fields of northern Hyrule, he looked back past his fellow Gorons as a mighty explosion echoed down the trail. From above the Goron City's gates, a great flame burst forth, writing and wriggling in the night sky. Volvagia had come.

Fleeing across the open fields, defending the Goron Refugees as they were set upon by dark forces and vicious beasts, his mind remained seared by the image of the volcanic wyrm that now held his blessed home captive.

Forever, the roar of Volvagia would drive Orek'nar to fight further, the dragon's flame paling in comparison to the fire that burnt within his heart as he and the other Gorons made their way in to Hyrule Town, he swore to them that they would return home before time would see them forget it.

This is awesome. Very awesome. It makes me want to go make a Goron character just so I can RP with this guy.

If you haven't already, I might suggest reading a couple of the plot topics related to this, as it has to do with the Gorons raising a new patriarch and their political situation with the Hylians and such. In order, they are:

    One Who is Able
    The Second Stonepact

Whether or not you do anything with said reading is totally up to you, but it's not a terrible read.

Anyway, as far as I am concerned this has my vote for passing.
