So to clarify for this and the Like-Like Ring, this is a transformation and not just an illusion of sorts?
So... how exactly does one take the ring off once transformed? And what happens to their gear in the meantime?
The second one I imagined could be left to the RP'er; either having the gear fall to the ground as the user's body warped or having it transform with him. The first... I would think that either it could be just deactivated at will or slid off somehow. I can see the first making the most sense, though.
