Since most of her treasures will be practical, she’ll probably carry them with her in case she needs them. She has a sword and a dagger. Appearance: Nyas is rather tall for a Rito, and slim. Her appearance makes her look a bit gangly to her own kind, but something in the curve of her beak is attractive to her own kind. Her hair is black and her bangs tend to get in her eyes if she doesn’t clip them back. Her skin is a bit tan and her eyes are red like all Rito. She wears a simple green tunic over a leather cuirass, a basic protection. Her sword is strapped to her waist and her dagger is hidden in her boots. She wears brown leggings under her tunic. Her pack is often slung over her shoulder haphazardly as she’s trying to take pictures or write things down. Often her fingers are stained with ink. Personality: She’s a very curious person, though because of her age a bit naïve. She’s very observant of the world around her. She has a good sense of humor if she gets the joke, though she doesn’t quite understand sarcasm. Her constant question asking can get a bit annoying, but she’s a very brave and loyal friend. It takes a certain kind of person to really get on her nerves as she gets along with just about everyone. Residence: All Rito live on Dragon Roost, though Nyas tends to not sleep much and spend a lot of her time in some secret hideouts to write in her notebooks. Pet: She doesn’t have one at the moment, though she'd love something that could travel with her like a bird. Maybe she'll get one later. Backstory: While all Rito are natural adventurers, Nyas found her adventures in books and stories of the world around her. To her, an adventure meant discovering new things and sharing her findings. Her reputation as a bookworm did make some Rito look down on her, including her parents for a time. Because of that, she became independent-minded and formed very close bonds with her only friends. As a child she spent a lot of her time outside, documenting things she found on the island. She also spent her time reading books on any subject she wanted. Her father realized that she was still young and childish, but full of passion for adventure and devotion to her people, and in order to help her grow up, he helped her find her own adventure. Nyas was thrilled when her father gave her a journal and her own pictograph box. She knew then that she wanted nothing more than to travel the world and make note of all the amazing things she saw on her adventures. With the purchase of an all-night mask, she began to spend many nights without sleep just to write down her own thoughts. This started a long habit of sleepless nights when she became fascinated with certain subjects. Somewhere along the way she picked up swordplay and the ability of Farore’s Courage. Now she visits Hyrule often, waiting for an adventure that will teach her something new…
