Night on the Desert Sands (a Tsub and Knog Production)

Callad released his sword and retrieved his short bow, deftly stringing it and notching one of his arrows to the string. "Hmm... I can't say for sure what the noise I heard was, but it is possible it was just an animal," he mused, keeping the arrow to the ground, continuing to walk forward.

Barth chuckled while Callad listened for creatures. "Beasts of the desert are quick, knight. If you do hear one, what could you do? In this dark you cant see clearly enough to shoot it accurately. This is how those who know the sands do it." 

The man raised Reverend over his head, summoning flames to the tip. After ten seconds, with a roar he plunged the blade down, sending an explosion ringing out and sand flying everywhere. 

Once the sand cleared from the air, a foot long sand worm lay on the ground, roasted alive. It had three flaps that closed for it's mouth, and there was a good amount of flesh on it. Barth cut it in half for Callad. "A midnight snack."
