The polished steel has runes down the blade saying, "Hide, and we will find you," on one side, and "Run, and we will kill you," on the other. It is named 'Talon.' It belonged to her father. Rucksack - holds whatever she needs it to hold. Common items include a bedroll, torch, rations, and her money. She carries this on her belt. Appearance: Lysis's angular yet soft face is accented by long pointed ears that are always close to her head. Her blonde hair cascades down her back, stopping at her waist. The blonde locks frame a set of red lips underneath a straight nose. Glittering green eyes look out from beneath feathery blonde eyebrows. Her feet are clothed with black footwraps before a pair of well-fitting black travel boots. Pants of a dark grey-blue are tucked in to them. She wears a skin-tight one-piece bodysuit from mid-thigh to neck, and over that is a black coat reaching her calves. Her longsword hangs from her right hip. Topping off the outfit is a calf-length black cape. It was a gift from her father and allows her to jump greater height and distance. Personality: Lysis is rather shy on the surface, usually keeping out of things not her business. However, she has an unfortunate tendency to accidentally intrude on things not her business. She has a great deal of pluck and tries to stay positive. Her anger is slow to rouse, but her fear is quick. Residence: The Western Caves always has a bed if she needs one. Pet: None. Backstory: Lysistrata was born in Southern Hyrule as the daughter of an influential knight of one of the local lords. Her mother died in childbirth, but not before giving her her name. Her father mourned for his wife, but his servants gladly took up her job. One helped raise her, another was a wet nurse. She doesn't remember much of that life. When she was merely two, Ganon's armies attacked, and the Knight of the Hawk, seeing his lord slain and knowing the legends, knew the King of Darkness would be unstoppable. He gathered up his house and fled. For a week, she and her father and some others fled the onslaught of Ganon. He knew of the Western Caves and made for them. When they had settled in and had lived there for two years, Lysis met a Gerudo child refugee. Her name was Falis'heare, Fal for short. She was a warrior in training, and invited the Hylian girl to her lessons. After making it home, Lysis told her father, and he decided to both teach her a little himself (because, after all, he wouldn't be around forever) and he decided to meet her swordmistress. The two agree on a training regimen. Falis and Lysis would take turns under each tutor, one week training with Falis's mother and another week training with Lysis's father. Fast-forward thirteen years, and Lysis and Fal are nearing the end of their training, and they both are just about to finish their training and graduate as full warriors when a rumor reaches the ears of all the western caves. The Gerudo King has returned. Though the rumors were many and varied, they agreed on one thing. He was in the south, and headed for Ikana Valley. While both girls were excited at the news of another resistor to Ganon, Fal's excitement was keener. She disappeared late that night along with a smattering of others. Lysis was sent after Falis, partly because her father and Fal's mother wanted her back, and partly because Lysis wanted to protect her friend. Her father, aging and frailer, gave her Talon, his longsword, and his cape. "Now fly, like the wind," her father bid her goodbye. And she did.
Your math is good, woo! The Gerudo may dwell in the Eastern Caves, but it's plausible that a couple live in the Western. We are currently in the year 17 A.G., and Ganon attacked in 1 A.G. If Lysis was 4 when he attacked, wouldn't that make her ~21?
