    Treasure Removal
Corruption (which is to return in the new Library, in a less overpowered form)

    Corruption (open)
While going through the Library, I had to stop on this treasure. I didn't want to change anything prematurely, but felt the need to remove this treasure as soon as possible. While flavorful and interesting, it is vastly, vastly overpowered.
With my interpretation, this allows the user to control any number of creatures that are not "magical" (or owned by PCs) to be controlled by the user. (I'm assuming PCs themselves aren't controllable, even though most can qualify as fauna.) Not only can the caster control them, but the afflicted creatures are buffed, and have no given limit on how long they can be controlled. On the off-chance the caster wants to drop one of his super-beasts out of service, doing so effectively kills it so it can't retaliate.

    The only hard limits are:
    - The controlled creatures must all be "nearby" when the spell is cast, but gives no limit on how nearby they must be or how many can be gathered up into a "nearby" area. "Some time" must pass before it can be controlled again.
    - The user is "more vulnerable" to Light magic, which is vague, and already imposed in the same vague way by the prerequisite for this treasure.
    - Animals and plants are more likely to attack, which pretty much works in the caster's favor, given he can control them with this spell, so long as some aren't already under his control.

In summary, the user can control or kill any non-human, non-PC, "nonmagical" beasts, with no apparent chance of failure. Even without preparation, this can easily be used to control a dozen White Wolfos, buff them so they're even stronger and more feral, and keep them in this way indefinitely. With preparation, Wolfos would be the least of your worries.
