Keese:​

The creatures known as Keese are in almost every Zelda game ever made. Resembling a bat, these annoying pests will take any chance they can to swarm the nearest intruder. Keese take different forms, from regular black bats, to flying balls of fire or ice. Beware if you see a frozen Keese, for if you come in contact with them you very well may find yourself a frozen block of ice. The best way to take a Keese out is with a bow and arrow or a slingshot of some sorts.
