Knight's Academy of Skyloft: A role play thread.

This is a role play thread based on Knight's Academy in Skyward sword. You can act out any character you like, apart from link. (note: a pm from me might change that).
This is before the land below the clouds is readily available, and we're just focusing on the events in skyloft. Nothing else (except for special events).
I act as the headmaster and other NPCs, and teacher positions are open.
This is free-form, with no special powers. It's just your personality, and your intelligence, and there may be special events. Unless you're teachers, you start as cadets.
Just list who you are, and a basic background, and we'll run from there.

Hmm. I'd like to run with this a bit.

My character's name will be Myna. She shall be gregarious, but very much a J kind of person, to the point of being slightly OCD about lists and organization. This was reinforced by her structured, orderly parents. They both live together with her younger brother, and she sees them every now and again when she's allowed off-campus. If, you know, it works like that

Myna wants to become a Knight, but she wanted to do more than just fight. She really liked the idea of studying the monsters that the Knights fought, and she always found the idea of creating a bestiary of all the monsters she vanquished extremely attractive.

As the oldest child, Myna is responsible and independant. She enjoys flying and takes comfort in practicing the maneuvres practiced in class. Her parents push her to be the best student possible, and this, combined with her natural leaning towards perfectionism, has created a diligent study habit that she enjoys adhering to.

Well, it's been a long while, but that character sounds cool. I'd like for there to be a couple of other people (preferably 3, but minimum 2 total) before we start, but if that doesn't happen by Feb. 23, we'll start on the 24th.

I would suggest sending out PMs. That may work better. If you send them out, though, make sure they're to people you know are active and won't vanish after a couple of days.

I'm interested in this if you'll have me. I'll need some time to get a character set up, though, if that's okay with you guys. Before I start thinking on him/her, does my character start out with a Loftwing?

Name: Robin Johnavon.
Age: 14.
Loftwing: Robin’s Loftwing is a cluck he likes to unoriginally refer to as Skye. She’s light blue in color, with a white underbelly. While she has no crest on the top of her head, she seems to have one on the back of her head, resembling a bun.
Appearance: Robin is an entirely normal-looking young man with brown eyes and brown hair worn in a ponytail. He’s not built overly powerful, mostly because he doesn’t train more than is strictly necessary. Well-fed and well-dressed, Robin at least looks healthy no matter what he’s up to.
Personality: While talented with a sword, Robin’s lax personality and preference for playing around over studying and training make him a nightmare to work with for teachers and fellow students alike. He’s brave, charming, and just at his best, and asocial, arrogant, and selfish at worst. While he enjoys his time at the academy, it’s no secret that he wouldn’t have enrolled in it
Background: It’s argued that Robin only joined the Knight Academy because his father forced him to. He’s the eldest of two sons of the Johnavon family, which supplies the Bazaar with its potions. His younger brother is very eager to join the academy, but Zenith was older and so, was sent into training first.

His contact with his family is regular and positive, although he often butts heads with his strict father.

Since a bunch of my posts from the RECRUITING NOW thread have gone missing, I'll put some of the rules here:
You start with a Loftwing; All Skyloft Hylians do.
You can only have 1 character for various reasons.
You can have any character that fits in the situation, but any teacher from the SS game will have to be a pretty good and consistent role-player, for obvious reasons.
Any private messages about the game should go through me or a designated player, because some events will need information to remain private.
I have ways of dealing with inactive role-players, but I'd really prefer not to, so PLEASE roleplay consistently!

That should be about it...
Anyway, if it's alright, the age for the first class is 14. This is, well, sort of a high school drama kind of thing, with Zelda elements more than anything else. The rest of it is fine, though.

Anyway, I've changed it. Will the in character RPing be held in this topic, or are we going to keep this as recruitment/questions thread and make a separate thread for the actual RP?

We could move this to the Suggestion Bin and start the actual thread in the Sandbox?

Well, Eternis runs it so it's his decision, but I'm for that, Quill. It just seems more organized and professional.
