    First Name: Kamaar (Kah-mar)
    Surname: Johar (Joe-har)

    Gender: Male
    Age: 27
    Race: Rito

    PWC: 1/2/4

    Power: *
    Wisdom: **
    Courage: ****

    Treasures:

    Valiance
    Winged Flight
Needle Storm (I had 4 courage so this treasure cost 30 rupees and Valiance allowed 35 rupees toward any courage based item.)

    Rupees
    100

    Height: 5’4”
    Weight: 135 lbs.

    Equipment:

Small Harp: Nothing amazing and flamboyant, just a simple and small wooden harp that he gained from his father before he leaved for Hyrule. The Small harp is in a leather bag that he constantly carries around with him.

Ocarina: This is actually somewhat a sentimental item of his, just like his harp. A small wooden ocarina with nothing but the small carving of a triforce on it, it was given as a gift from one of the travelers he ran into down the road after he played a few positive and optimistic tunes for the people. The man who gave him the ocarina told the Rito that what he played was beautiful and that he should try learning how to play songs on one of Hyrules most symbolic items. The Ocarina. Being much into lore and culture, Kamaar was much thankful for the instrument and very intrigued to learn more of Hyrule and what has happened to the once beautiful and peaceful land. This item can be found in the same bag as his Harp.

Small Wool Blanket: A self explanatory item. Just something he carries around to sleep on or use as a pillow. Nothing extravagant. You can find this item rolled up and tied to his leather bag with the harp in it.

Water Skin Bottle: Once again, another self explanatory item. This item is just a simple leather skin bottle he uses to carry around at least a couple hours worth of water. He finds himself constantly having to refill it because of its small size.

Daggers: Being nothing but a simple bard, Kamaar doesn’t know any swordsmanship or archery. But he did reason he would need something to protect himself and couldn’t go completely unarmed. So, he did get a bit of training in wielding simple daggers back at his home island Dragon Roost Island before heading out to Hyrule. Although possessing basic knowledge of daggers and an advanced move or two, he still has a long way to go before he can call himself an expert. But he’s not looking to be a master; just a simple means to protect him self is all he asks.

Leather Bag: This item is just an extra pouch he has for some of his things. He carries a bit of food, not much, in this pouch along with a few paint brushes and dyes. It’s sort of a side hobby/profession to earn him some meager funds in case he ever needs the rupees. He basically carves things out of sticks or wood he finds while traveling Hyrule lands and paints little designs on them so as to sell them as trinkets. Nothing special but when alone, it’s a nice side hobby when bored and lonely. He also has his rupee pouch in this bag.

    Clothes

    Appearance:

His clothes are pretty much anything you’d expect of a poor traveling bardsman. He has a simple long beige cotton tunic that ends a couple inches above the ankle. There is a long split on each side of the tunic that reveals the rims of his bulky and somewhat puffy chocolate brown trousers. He has some simple leather protection on the top fronts of his feet but nothing more. The tunic has some red designs on the rims of his wide short sleeves. A somewhat large reddish obi sash can be found wrapped around his waist, a belt along with a pouch and water skin bottle and a tightly rolled up blanket draping just below his pouch. He has a side strap reaching across his chest, his daggers in it’s holders located on the front of the chest strap.

He has lighter skin, with brown and gold mixed eyes. His eyebrows are somewhat unique, the ends having a slight ridge on the top. He has long black hair half pulled back into a ponytail, the rest laying across his shoulders. On each side of the face he has two braided long locks of hair reaching a couple inches past the shoulders. His wings are pretty long but not long enough to touch the floor. He has one blue marking located above each eyebrow along with two blue wavy line markings under each eye. His beak is a burnt light orange, the tip of it painted black.

Personality: A simple yet complex man, Kamaar has his flaws and benefits. For a bard, he’s quite reserved socially sometimes and only speaks when necessary. But once he gets to know those around him, he’s quite talkative and charming. He has a bit of a mysterious and cryptic atmosphere about him and is quite observant. A man of knowledge in music, poetry and culture he is intrigued by every race. He’s not afraid of confrontation and most of the time is willing to battle, but wants to avoid the killing of anything at any cost. Kind Hearted and very peaceable, he is very open about his life and had nothing to hide. He’s very loyal and courageous because of his background as a Rito and makes a great addition to any party. Willing to go through tough straights to help a soul in need, he is there to help the suffering and ailing and there to bring hope and light back into there lives. If you want to tell someone something that’s been bothering you, he makes a wonderful counselor and is great when it comes to confidentiality. He can be quite the humorous man and is there to raise the morale of those around him.

Residence: Kamaar used to live with his parents, but after there disappearance, Kamaar left Dragoon Roost to find out more about the current situation with Ganon ruling over Hyrule. He continues living as a nomad, traveling the land and sleeping wherever he can find a place to stay. He has no permanent residence and can be found roaming Southern Hyrule.

Pet: He currently does not own any pets and probably won’t anytime soon.

Backstory: Kamaar’s childhood is equivalent to that of every average Rito’s life. He lived on Dragon Roost Island, an Island further east in the Eastern sea. A place that is indeed very arduous to get to, but full of a richly cultured and captivating tribe of people. The people there are said to be descendants and ancestors of the Zora’s. Placing Valoo as a center stone for their culture, Valoo is looked to with high regards, as the Rito people continue to serve him loyally.

Kamaar’s parents were also quite the customary and benign parents. His father was quite wise, stern and direct while his mom was caring, quiet, reserved and had a cryptic atmosphere about her. Ichaar and Kamayaa took care of him, raised him, and helped him achieve living a regular childhood like the rest of his peers. Although honing different and somewhat unique interests compared to other Rito’s, he never quite took an interest and passion in becoming a warrior or a blacksmith’s like most of the boys his age, but rather become a traveling bard and craftsman of different hand made goods. Although his father Ichaar lacked a portion of enthusiasm at first, he later supported his son fully remembering exactly how it felt in his childhood being pushed on into doing things that didn’t make you truly happy. His father did, although, encourage his son to think about becoming a postal man also, reasoning with Kamaar that this would be a great way to help him achieve his dream. Because of the amount of traveling that the delivery service required one to do, Ichaar explained to his son that this would be an ample way for Kamaar to start making his way to becoming a nomadic bardsman. Agreeing fully with the wise advice his parents had to offer, Kamaar set out to make that his main goal once he entered his teenage hood. Other then his unique interests and hobbies compared to the other Rito’s, Kamaar still enjoyed a happy childhood.

A lot of the times, you could find Kamaar as a child hopping around the many ridges and balconies of Dragon Roost Island pretending to fly; just waiting for the day he would be able to receive wings from the great Valoo. At 10 years of age he already new how to play some easy songs and tunes on a harp and a flute. No matter how terrible and loathsome he started out when learning how to play, he kept on trying. He loved sitting out on one of the highest ridges, reserved and alone, practicing his singing, tuning his instruments, or just meditating on thoughtful advice. His mother began to get troubled by Kamaar’s constant avoidance of social interaction. But soon, this worry was long forgotten after Kamaar made his first friend.

While Kamaar was up and sitting at one of his normal spots, a smaller and somewhat shorter boy clambered up to him. After he stared at Kamaar for a few thoughtful seconds he gave him a friendly smile. The boy looked about nine, a year or so younger then himself, but Kamaar didn’t mind. In fact, it was the first time anyone ever sought Kamaar out. The boy has retrieved info from other tribe members about Kamaar wanting to become a bard. So he took the initiative to seek him out to offer him a marvelous opportunity. Wanting to become a bard himself, Makamaroo invited Kamaar to join him as an apprentice under the wing of the Islands Lore man who also served as a bard. Kamaar, struggling in his music since he honed little knowledge about it and was self taught, immediately and eagerly accepted the invitation. Within a week the two have already started there long training under the Lore Man, they started off lessons with learning all about inspiration, motivation, and the cultures of the many lands so as to have a spark to there music.

After a couple months, they finally began learning about the many different instruments and there parts, more culture and finally how to begin playing. His music began to become better quality and over time better sounding. Kamaar and Makamaroo, when not found practicing there music and seeing the Lore Man, could be found hanging out observing the never ending sea or playing there music to a group of other people. They we’re inseparable at the time and could always be found doing random chores and jobs around the island together. But, even though Makamaroo remained a close friend of Kamaar, Kamaar still needed his alone time and could be found again, in his customary ledge playing music. Everything continued on as normal until he became twelve years old.

At twelve years of age, news of Dark Lord Ganon’s atrocities began rising in the tribe. The fall of Kakariko, the taking over of Death Mountain, and of all the innocent Hylians and races on Hyrule that were slaughtered. The ghastly crimes and the uprising war left the tribe horrified and sickened. Unable to believe what they heard, at least a dozen or more men of the tribe and a few women decided to leave and find out more about what happened to the land of Hyrule. This included his mom, dad, and Makamaroo’s parents. Promising Kamaar they would come back, they gave him something to remember them by, a small wooden harp of his own. There families symbol was faintly craved on the rim. Months passed and the Rito’s that left were never heard from again. Still a young minor, Kamaar’s grandpa decided to take Kamaar and Makamaroo under his wing. Very warm and loving, the elder took care of them into their teenage hood, telling them to be wise, patient, and vigilant, advising to live normal lives, continue training as a bard and once they were old enough, then if they wanted to, they could leave and then find what happened to the missing Rito’s. Already reaching sixteen years of age, Kamaar had lost hope of ever seeing his parents alive again. But one day a message was delivered from one of the Rito’s who went missing who managed to make it back. With a bit of sad news but some good news as well, they only had one casualty and were currently unable to make it back being stuck in Hyrule. The island was informed on what shocking things have taken place in Hyrule, and how the hero in green has went to battle but has missing. Once nineteen years of age, Kamaar decided it was about time for him to obtain his wings. He finally made his way up to the top of Dragoon Roost Island to meet Valoo, but met some challenges and many difficulties on the way up, he failed multiple times. Entering his now early twenties, he was determined to get his wings like the rest of the kids he was raised with. His lack of strength was due to his lack of training in swordsmanship and blacksmithing. Since he chose a different route, he was in a sense, physically lacking compared to most Rito’s. Finally after his eighth try, Kamaar finally made it up to Valoo. Viewed as courageous and worthy in Valoo’s eyes, Valoo finally allowed Kamaar to gain his wings. Kamaar began training in his flying, daggers and saving up some goods to prepare for his future flight to Hyrule. With his mind set on making it to Hyrule to find more out about its situation, he continued training for another year. At age 23, he finally was ready to leave for Hyrule. Makamaroo already had gone a few years earlier after obtaining his wings, which lead to a sad goodbye for the two and ended there duo friendship. Kamaar decided that while out in Hyrule, he’d look for his long lost friend along with bringing hope to others through his music.

After making one final goodbye to his grandpa, and thanking him for everything he has done for him, his grandpa taught him one last song on his harp to remember the tribe by. Kamaar gave one last goodbye to the tribe and to his mentor who taught him his music and all he knows about the many cultures. Finally, he left. Now residing in the land of Southern Hyrule for the last four years, he can be found roaming as a nomadic bards man like he always wanted. The only difference is that this wasn’t the way he hoped he’d gain it.
