Name: Into the Mines! Description: Not too long ago, a small mining settlement was established in the hills and highlands along the north banks of Zora's River. This mining town, founded by Hylian and Goron settlers, soon grew wealthy over time from the minerals extracted form under the rugged hills. Over the decades, this town came close to growing to sizes of other cities such as Nabooru and Mido. However, before the war with Ganon, the mines became more and more perilous. Tales say they filled with evil monsters, and though the settlers tried to seal up the passages of the mines and lock away the creatures, they were ultimately unsuccessful and were slaughtered over the course of a few days, with each massacre taking place after the sun set below the horizon. Now, the town is nothing but old ruins, but it is said that dark creatures still haunt the passes of the old abandoned mines.
