Alignment: Lawful Good Skills, Spells, and Abilities Racials - Sense: Ilona has a finely honed sixth sense that alerts her when she’s in danger. She cannot tell in what direction the threat lies, however. Swordplay - Spin Attack: A popular technique, however its popularity does nothing to lessen its power. Ilona can merge her magic power with her sword to unleash a circular wave of energy when she spins with it. - Sword Beam: Another application for her magic, Ilona can unleash a straight beam of power from her sword. However, this requires vitality and can no longer be used after she has been so much as bruised. Miscellaneous - Bomb Arrow: Combining her Bombchus with an arrow, Ilona can create a heavy projectile with immense destructive potential. Inventory Weapons - Shortsword: Ilona’s main weapon, and the companion to her shield. Ilona never leaves on mission without it, and is almost frighteningly skilled with it for her young age. - Rapier: A thin, long sword. Ilona can’t use it in conjunction with her shield, but for certain tasks, it is better suited than her shortsword. - Bow: Ilona’s secondary field of expertise is archery. She is not as skilled an archer as she is a swordswoman, but she’s good enough to be a reliable ranged fighter. - Lance: A sturdy weapon with a treated wooden shaft. It is suitable for both throwing and close combat, making it a good compromise between her two fields. Armour - Mirror Shield: One of Ilona’s most prized possessions is her Mirror Shield. It is capable of reflecting light and magic alike, but offers the same degree of protection from physical harm as any other shield. - Mail Shirt: Under her clothes, Ilona wears a well-fitting chainmail shirt. It’s heavier than one would suspect, but doesn’t hinder her much. Miscellaneous - Bombchu Supply: A small pouch that is magically filled to the brim with an endless supply of mouse-shaped running bombs. Current Balance: 60 r. Roleplay Information Residence: Ilona has been assigned a room in the HAREON barracks just outside Hyrule Castle Town. It doesn’t have much more than a bed and two chests, one for her normal clothes and one for her chainmail and her swords, but Ilona rarely does more in that room than sleep anyway. Companions: - Sniffles (Pet): A red tabby cat that Ilona was given by her father several years ago before she joined HAREON. She has leave to keep him around the headquarters, where he makes himself useful keeping mice and other pests away from the kitchen and the storeroom. His own indiscretions in said kitchen and storeroom are forgiven. Acquaintances: - Jonathan Raquel (NPC): Ilona's father and mentor. A tall, broad man with the eyes of a hawk, who masters many weapons. He is one of HAREON's finest and is rather overprotective of his daughter, having lost his wife to childbirth. - Grace Raquel-Johnsson (Deceased): Ilona's late mother, who died giving birth to her. She was a mage enrolled in HAREON and Jonathan's usual partner for missions. Personal Information Height: 5 foot 9. Appearance: Ilona is a tall, slender woman with no disturbing muscle mass. She has platinum blonde hair, mostly worn loose. It’s between shoulder-and waist length and Ilona keeps it out of her face with a green headbrace. Her eyes are an unremarkable brown. Ilona wears a short, sky blue dress with short sleeves, embroidered with gold on the edges. Over it, she wears an open, longer-sleeved navy vest, and over that she occasionally wears a green mantle. Ilona’s feet are stuck in navy boots and she wears fingerless, navy gloves. Ilona doesn’t carry all her weapons with her at all times. When they are equipped, her swords hang from either side of her waist, her shield and lance over her shoulder, her quiver on the same hip as her rapier and her bow over the shoulder not occupied by the lance. Her Bombchus are in a compaction pouch-like item on her belt, which seems to spawn them infinitely. Personality: Being a woman of such young age amongst men and women of greater skill and older age, Ilona is a rather insecure person. She’s very afraid to mess up in missions she’s assigned to and will often be more careful than she has to be, slowing her down. She is, however, extremely skilled in every field she has been trained in. Unfortunately social skills are not one of those fields, and Ilona is a shy, introverted person. While unsuited for commanding positions, Ilona is good at following orders and surprisingly inventive when assigned to a mission alone. She is aware of the variety of her skills and her ability to adapt to almost any situation quickly, even if she’s not arrogant about them. In stark contrast to her shyness, Ilona is also a very brave young lady, unafraid to charge headlong into combat if she has been ordered to or if she feels it appropriate. Story Backstory: When Ilona was born, her mother died in childbirth. Her father, a member of the elite force HAREON, then decided to train her as soon as she became old enough to hold a weapon. She started at the age of six, with a rapier, and was allowed to move on to a bigger, heavier weapon only after mastering the one she was currently practicing with. Her father left her to choose her weapons herself, and Ilona trained in order with the rapier, the bladed sword alone, the bladed sword and shield, the lance and the bow. By the age of eighteen, she fully mastered all of them and her father allowed her to wear chainmail under her dress, something that made fighting harder on her because of the weight. When she turned nineteen and had trained with the chainmail for so long she was no longer bothered by the weight, her father finally told her why he had trained her. Aside from the illness that had taken her mother away from them, there were many dangers in the world. He wanted to protect her, but because of the nature of his work, he would not always be there to do so, especially not when she got older. So instead, he had given her the means to protect herself. A few weeks passed with less intense training, and her father took her to HAREON HQ for the admittance test. Ilona passed with relative ease, although notice was taken of her quietness and her hesitation to attack her test master. As of right now, Ilona is a rookie in HAREON, but willing to gain experience and work for justice. Ilona’d never admit it to anyone because it’s childish, but she hopes to meet the love of her life in HAREON or during a mission. It had worked for her parents… it should work for her, too. RP history With her father's overprotectiveness of her, it's hard for Ilona to get real missions. A simple, but memorable fetch quest that Captain Denolle sent her on to keep her occupied sent her to the top of Snowhead Mountain, where she found and observatory and its three inhabitants. One of them taught her the art of the Bomb Arrow, but she had to return to HQ soon, where she and Jayden were placed in charge of the testing of the prospective HAREON recruit Leopold Puerulus, with Ilona in charge of the combat test. Her first real mission worth noting consisted of eradicating a Moblin encampment at the side of TJ Fireslap and Gerard Ramenda of Theta suicide squad. Near the end of the mission, she came face-to-face with Nae Senal, HAREON's Most Wanted.
