Hello amazing members of HC! Time for the second art contest!!!! Topic: This contest is going to be Forest Themed. Draw anything from just a forest, some animals in the forest, the forest temple, Deku, Kokiri, Korok, The Great Deku Tree, anything that has to deal with a forest. This can either be drawn or computer made, however don't just take a picture of trees or a forest and edit it a little bit, create it yourself. Submission: Please PM me your art once you finish it. Give a name and a description to it. Please do not show your art to anyone else as I want it to be anonymous so the voting is not biased. Once you submit it it will be placed in a thread for voting. Prize: First place prize is 100 rupees, second place is 50 rupees, and third is 25 rupees, these rupees can be given to any of your characters in any amount that you so wish. Due Date: May 8th 2011. The first-place victor will also receive the following unique treasure, should they choose to accept it. After it has been won in the art contest, this magic-tier item must still be earned once in a quest or classic dungeon, as usual, but can be earned freely by any single one of your characters in addition to to standard rewards. `Woodland Patches Original:Guy, Magic-Tier - Defense [Forest], [Illusion], [Stock] 0 rupees A woodland patch appears similarly to a small circular piece of cloth, about the size of one's palm, with a green tree on the face of it. After the item is taken into the hand and slapped against a flat surface, its magical effect is activated. The patch will embed itself into the surface and disapper; a moment later, the surface will be replaced with the illusion of a deep and twisting forest akin to the Lost Woods. How exactly this illusion appears will vary, but the effect never extends out more than six feet on any side of the patch, and the illusion will not activate if applied to anything not considerably flat nor anything living. If smacked onto a vacant wall, the patch could perhaps make it appear as if there is a door on the wall, or that the wall has been broken through, and a forest lies on the other side. If used on a window, it will likely make it seem a forest is outside the window. A little more far-fetched, but if used on a pillar, it could likely make the pillar appear as a tree. In all instances, however, the effect is merely an illusion--trying to enter a 'forest doorway' will only end with one walking into a wall. "Woodland Patches" is a stock treasure which bestows the user with an effectively infinite supply of these woodland patches.
