As a result, it holds a minute amount of sentimentality to the boy. Appearance: Due to his apprenticeship and constant work, one would see Haris' light brown hair consistently streaked with soot and ash. The same could be said of his facial features, and on his person in general. His blacksmith's apron is covered thoroughly, and the red undershirt and blue pants he wears all conform to the boy's relatively haggard appearance, often offset slightly by a withdrawn, but knowing smile. The boy's eyes, due to their color, are also rarely seen, being near black like the dirt that covers him. Personality: Reserved, but dutiful and hardworking, Haris' aspirations to his chosen field of work is reflected in his dialogue and general attitude. Though he mostly keeps to himself, he is capable enough of handling tasks of delivery and communication when it comes to business between the forge he works at and the Hylian military. That being said, he does not often ask for specifics, or any questions in general, something that has earned him the rebukes of both soldiers and his master. He also harbors a lot of his dreams, and struggles to himself. Even his family members do not know what he plans to do with his life at present, and with his current age, he himself has yet to truly find answers to his personal identity and direction. His estrangement relationship with his father, has resulted in a lack of being able to accept failure, and Haris is pushed around easily. Residence: Located in the residential district of Castle-Town, he lives with his family in a well-worn home that has seen better days, but still retains a minimal amount of comfort. He frequents this place as a source of personal refuge and respite. Pet: N/A Backstory: Raised in a relatively prominent line of blacksmiths, Haris joined his father's guild that helped supply the Hylian army with arms and armor during the years that Ganon made his ruthless advances. During that time, the Forge family became well-affiliated with the Hylian armed forces, and enjoyed a meager living with the little funding that they were given as a token of the King of Hyrule's gratitude. Haris himself was raised in good, but basic health. Any hope of living a more luxurious life beyond his early economic conditions were nonexistent. Haris experienced a rough upbringing; while the boy wished to fulfill the standards of a distant, judging, and idealized father, he felt the constant pressure of failure, a thing he never dealt well with. Though a slow learner, he had a knack for retaining what little he gained, and after a few years, he was finally able to gain an apprenticeship under another guild that helped supply the Hylian army. It is here that he continues his steady progress, and someday hopes to gain a greater amount of respect form his family.
