(Jayden Darrah is Tsubori's character, all the connections with him are with Tsu's permission.)

    Name:
    Guzol Jocasta

    Age:
    26

    Gender:
    Male

    Race:
    Hylian

    Place of Origin:
    Castle Guard

    Residence:
Hyrule castle barracks, though he'll often hang out at Jayden's place.

    Pet:
    None.

    PWC:
    4/1/3

    Treasures:
    Sense
    Spin Attack

Song of healing - 30 rupees
    Helm splitter - 30 rupees
    Shield Breaker

    Equipment:
Being a guard, Guzol has been taught how to fight with a sword, but he prefers the spear. On journeys he also carries a sword and a dagger with him though, using them when he gets into close combat.
Other than his weapons, he wears some basic armor, some bracers, greaves and a chestplate. Guzol also carries a lute with him when on long journeys, to entertain his squadron in the evenings or on breaks.

    Rupees:
    60

    Height:
    1,91 meters.

    Weight:
    87 kilos.

    Appearance:
Guzol with fellow guard Sayomi (open)
He has a rather rough face with piercing green eyes, framed by unruly, pitchblack curls reaching past his chin and a short beard. In battle he'll often tie his hair up in a short ponytail so it won't get in his face so much. When on duty, he wears the standard guard uniform, a chainmal tunic, black pants & brown boots together with his own pieces of armor on top. On travels outside his work he'll wear loose fitting, sandcolored pants with a rust brown tunic and a sash around his waist.

    Personality:
Guzol has always been the little ray of sunshine in his squadron (although the "little" part isn't exactly right when looking at his height). He is a cheeky, light-hearted man, sometimes showing a strong-headed side. He'll joke about even the most dangerous situations, making some people think of him as careless, but his fellow soldiers know better. No matter how many jokes he makes, Guzol takes his battles seriously and is a ferocious fighter.
When travelling with his squadron, he'll often amuse them with his lute playing skills and songs with made up on the spot lyrics, usually involving his companions or embarassing situations they've been in.

    Backstory:
His parents originally hailed from the far south of Hyrule, but travelled to Kakariko fifteen years before the war, and that's where Guzol was born. His father was a guard and had met Guzol's mother when he was stationed in the south. He gave up his guard duties when he married so he could settle down and be with his family, and started working as a blacksmith.
Guzol lived a pretty much carefree life as a kid, sometimes helping his father out or exploring Kakariko and the fields surrounding it.
That all stopped when the war came. On the night Kakariko burned, his parents tried to flee north with him, but they were attacked by Ganon's minions. Guzol's parents were killed in front of his eyes, and he himself was severely wounded and left for dead.
A day later he was found by a group of guards who were looking for survivors. They took care of his wounds and took him with them to Castle Town, were they dropped him off at the improvised hospital for survivors of the various battles that had erupted throughout Hyrule. The attack had left the young boy in a deep shock, he refused to talk and just lay on his bed all day, never getting up or making any noise. The only visitor he had was the captain of the group of guards that had saved him, captain Denolle. The captain had heard about the boy from the doctors. He felt pity for him and decided to visit him to see if that would make him feel better. At the end of each day he'd come in for an hour or so, tell him about his day and always asking Guzol how his day had been. He always left after asking that, knowing he wouldn't get an answer.
Then one day, after weeks of visits and one-sided conversations, the man came in to see Guzol sitting on the edge of his bed and staring. "Teach me how to fight." The boy said. The captain refused, but Guzol would ask the same thing every time the man visited. Finally, after weeks of hearing the same question, the captain gave in and brought a small sword along with him and decided to see what the boy was capable of. Guzol turned out to have a natural talent for all forms of combat, and above all a hard-working and smart student. During the trainings, his old, cheerful self started to show again.
When Denolle deemed him strong and old enough, he was allowed to join his squad and go on missions with them.
Then, a few years later, Jayden arrived, and has been a sort of big brother-figure to him since his first day. Guzol was the only one, save for the captain, who didn't bully or tease Jayden with being a rookie. He recognized himself in the parentless, hard working young man. They quickly became close friends, Guzol'd often visit Jayden after work.
Recently he has got a promotion and now trains new recruits when not on missions or on guard duty.

Alright, this doesn't conflict with anything, so go ahead. Small note: we don't really have Ganondorf here, just Ganon. I'm not sure who Jayden is, or why Captain Denolle took such an interest in your character, but that's not too important. Have fun!

Sorry, forgot to add Jayden is Tsubori's character, and I have his permission to use him in the backstory. My bad. And I've given the captain a reason, I completely forgot. :C

Oh, okay XD You might want to edit these into the backstory; that way an ignorant reader (like me) won't get lost.
