Weight: 145, extra 45 pounds in armor

Equipment: Gerard uses the aforementioned armor, and also two main weapons, with a dagger in each of his greaves, one in his wrist guard, two under the chest plate, and one in a utility sheath on his side.

The main weapons are Legacy, a ten foot trident with a golden colored top and the shaft being his family's signature navy, and Honor, a navy bladed shortsword with a golden colored hilt. He has neen well trained to use the two simultaneously.

Personality: Gerard is a simple man, educated just to fight. You may think this makes him cold, but in actuality it's anything but. He's got soul, conviction, and a will to put things right. Respectful and traditional, this soldier believes his only purpose is to defend his home from a foe that will never yield. He has faith in his own abilities, but is very well prepared for his own death, in part due to the nature of his family.

Having six siblings and having your parents prepare you to fight alongside them and die with them makes you a very tight knit family. Gerard gets along with all of his kin, even his sister Francine, who can often be a bit of a bitch, also proving his forgivingness. Out of all his family, he likes Alexander the most; his eldest brother who became a father for everyone after their father died.

Quite often though, Gerard can be slightly dry and sarcastic, usually joking about his family's traditions and his own impending death. Overall, Gerard is a noble soldier, willing to die for his home, and a man who, like everyone should, loves his family.

Appearance: Gerard's father always told him "Always wear a helmet. It'll save your life." Unfortunately, Gerard takes this a wee bit too far. It is extremely rare and almost noteworthy to see Gerard's face, the guy covering it with a full face helmet with a screen over the eyeholes to protect his eyes. At most people remember the last time he took it off in front of them, and by Alexander's account when Gerard was 18, he's got his shaggy brown hair at ear length and one blue eye. The other eye, and about three quarters of his face on the left side, still suffers from major scarring from 3rd degree burns.

Gerard's body is muscular and well toned from almost constantly living in his armor. It's even well padded on the inside of the torso, limbs, and helmet, allowing comfortable sleep while fully armored. The armor itself is form fitting, and despite common misconception about field plate armor, it allows Gerard to retain great mobility, agility, and still allows him to take a beating and get back up. The armor is a nice navy with golden trim.

Residence: The Ramenda home, a rather large house in the nice end of Hyrule castle town. Gerard himself has no ownership over it, but his family has lived in the house for a couple dozen generations.

Backstory: Gerard was born to a heavily militant family, one who'd been serving Hyrule's fighting forces for many generations. From a very young age, Gerard was instructed by both his parents, brothers and one of his two sisters in how to kill the enemies of his nation. The boy was given general training until he was six, when his father brought him into the family armory to select his weapon. He first went for Legacy, but upon attempting to lift it, he realized he'd need to be more well grown to actually use the thing. He selected the shortsword and trained with it until he was twelve and his father deemed him ready to use a smaller trident, asking him if he really wanted to abandon his short sword training. Gerard merely responded with that he wouldn't abandon it, he'd use both. His training was to continue after his father returned from an attack on a village, but unfortunately, the man never did. His father died during the mission, and a message was sent to his family. His funeral was short and celebratory, as all Ramenda funerals, but as it was his father's this one unnerved her more than any of his uncle's funerals.

One night when Gerard was 13, a fire had started in their home, though the source is still unknown. All Gerard knows is that he woke up with half his face engulfed in flames that scorched his flesh and blinded his left eye. He was rushed to a hospital and saved, though the doctor told his family his wounds would never heal. This only slowed him down for a bit, wearing a helmet to avoid freaking anyone out.

His family had a legacy of extreme numbers and extreme militarism, which when combined, often meant people died quickly. His father's generation had a total of 11 brothers and a sister, and only three still lived. Two, now with Gerard's father gone.

This left Gerard as the youngest of their generation, and setting it at seven soldiers. Alexander, the eldest in the family apart from their mother, then became the head of the household, and took on Gerard's training. He instructed the boy until he was 16, and then let him start training with Legacy. Using the trident and shortsword at the same time was difficult, but gradually he mastered it, using broad sweeps and hard thrusts with the trident, and defending and close intricacy with Honor.

When he was 19, he joined the same group as his brother Desmond. It was a special squad meant for powerful distractions and suicide missions called Theta Squad. He has currently gone on one mission, surviving and killing far beyond what was expected of him. He looks forward to his next mission, as Theta is made of a good group of soldiers.
