Forest Havoc [Signups closed, Lost Woods RP]

*Skulltula in question is the Twilight Princess variety.

I'm looking for one or two people to help Autumn fight some oversized monsters in the Lost Woods. I'll provide most information if asked, and if, for the sake of approval, a mod wants me to explain things that I consider spoilers, I will do so in a PM.

Cast:
- Autumn, Woodland Archer. (2/2/5 Hylian) [Yours Truly]
- Kytie, Travelling Merchant. (1/2/4 Mad Scrub) [MarvelousTK]
- Open spot

Rewards:
According to the rules, base reward for this Quest amounts to 40 rupees per player and 10 per character.
- Autumn: Straight Shooting, Gale Seed, Armor Seed, +33 Rupees.
- Kytie: Boomerang, +10 Rupees.

From Moruge Swamp into the Lost Woods Not too terribly much of an improvement in terms of the open world.

In all seriousness though, Kytie does appear interesting to have aboard for this and Dekus aren't too out of place in the Lost Woods. Does mean that at least two thirds of the party is ranged-based, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing.

As long as she doesn't steal Autumn's Boomerang for her reward, consider her accepted.

Truthfully, I'm not sure how Locke would fit into this. Wouldn't it be more in-character for him to leave the overgrown monsters for what they are and refuse to help Autumn since there's nothing in it for him?

On a side note, I'm shutting the signups, barring a very good reason or a character that would fit in perfectly. Squishy, if you can argue Locke's fitting into this RP I'll till consider him, but you're the only one.

TK, the thread is up. If you need anything, let me know. I'll keep this thread for discussion and to show which variety of monsters I'm using if they appeared in more than one game.

Oh, TK, if you want the cart to belong to Kytie, I can edit my post so it IS more reminiscent of a merchant's stock if you like.

Nah, I could go either way. I did have an idea if it WEREN'T Kytie, but I also partially created the scenario with her Merchant-ness in mind so that you'd have an opening if you wanted it or couldn't come up with your own. I'll post ASAP.

I'm sorry, but while I can see your reasoning as decent, I can see from the time it took you to respond that taking you on into this RP won't help its pacing. TK and I have a good pace going right now and I'd like to keep it that way, keeping the RP short and quick.

As a heads-up: The child Autumn refers to at the end of my post is a PC that's not present in this RP and that I have neither permission nor the intention to bunny as an NPC, so he won't be showing up. That remark is just to keep her in character, as it's a constant concern of hers.

At the moment I'm afraid I really don't have any ideas. I guess I have been kind of passive so far... so I'll try and keep thinking of anything I can actually, you know, contribute, but I don't have anything right now. I guess I'll be relying on you a bit longer, sorry!

Oh, no, that's okay. I've been criticised in the past for making my RPs too 'closed,' with little room for the other RPer(s) to put in their own stuff if they so wanted. Just want you to know you have the option to do that.

I'm sorry, I know it's taking me too long to get my next post out. I don't really have an excuse, but my mind's been a bit hazy for the last day or so, and I'm not really getting anything creative out. So like I said, no excuse.
