    `Cold Iron
Original: Amore, Magic Tier - Material
    [Material]

    30 rupees a brick

This devious metal can be used by an individual with a profession that is capable of crafting magic-tier items. When used as a material, a brick of Cold Iron can create a single weapon, armor set, or other item that is capable of disrupting magic, yet incredibly frail. When Magic category items or spells comes into contact with Cold Iron, depending on the strength of the spell, they are (5+) cut by a 4th, (4) cut down to a half, or completely nullified(3-). When creating an item made of Cold Iron, it is necessary to calculate the weight of the metal portion of the item, divide it by the weight of a bar of Cold Iron (5 lbs.), and multiply that number by thirty for the cost in rupees.

    `Lanayru Copper
Original: Amore, Magic Tier - Material
    [Material][Fire]

    50 rupees a brick.

This flashy metal can be used by an individual with a profession that is capable of crafting magic-tier items. When used as a material, a brick of Lanayru Copper can create a single weapon, armor set, or other item that has the power of fire and generating heat reminiscent of a desert that spreads across what was once a sea. Items made with this material are about as hard as normal iron, and act as if they are applied with a Fire Enchantment when swung or shot or, if struck with a blunt object, it will generate large quantities of heat for days at a time. When creating an item made of Lanayru Copper, it is necessary to calculate the weight of the metal portion of the item, divide it by the weight of a bar of Lanayru Copper(5 lbs.), and multiply that number by fifty for the cost in rupees.

    Height: 6'3"

    Weight: 167.5 lbs

Equipment: Ferro's equipment consists of his two swords, his forge hammer, some armor and his prosthetic right arm .
His right arm without it's adornments can be simply compared to the arm of a posable model or doll, with spheres where the joints should be, animated and moves as if it were his actual arm, though it feels no pain. Blue and alien to people who see his naked arm, it is cool and smooth to the touch, and looks like it's made of some sort of metal, but doesn't melt in the flames of a blacksmith's forge, but extremely brittle and would probably break if someone with some training in combat were to hit it strongly. It's typically adorned with an iron gauntlet to lessen the impact on the prosthetic, itself designed to hold the symbol of the goddess Hylia on his forearm and the back of his had, with a gold plated triangle on his palm, to remind him of his duties to the crown and his goal to forge a Blade worthy of the Hero of the Goddess.

With that right arm and his hammer, he forged two weapons when his father was alive to assist and teach him, that he still carries today. The first of these swords is a resilient longsword made of Goron iron. Four feet and 3 and a half inches in length, the blade of the sword is longer than a typical longsword, but the weapon is balanced for the bladesmith to wield, with a full tang that is denser than the rest of the blade, and a blood groove that makes over half of the surface area of the blade. The guard is simple, nothing complicated, plated with copper. The grip is wooden, and wrapped with black leather. The pommel of the sword finishes out the work, with a jade stone in the center of the circular piece that the pommel is.

His other weapon is a blade infused with the essence of flame. This weapon was his own creation, almost flowing out of him when he first held the metal. A scimitar, much like the ones carried by a gerudo, with a curve much like a wave the flows along the 3 foot sword. It's a much simpler weapon than his long sword, but it's a fairly effective one in what it does.

Appearance: The build of Ferro's body is rather lean and muscular without being large in muscle size, due to most of his weight training being down during his teenage years, to control muscle size without sacrifice strenght, keeping a body that wouldn't be hindered by muscle. He lost his right arm in an accident in the forge, and now instead has a blue metalloid doll-like prosthetic replacement that is a reasonably good fit, since he has had it constantly kept up with and replaced when it became too small or damaged.
His wavy dark black hair is unruly, and lays as if he's always just gotten out of bed. The bangs almost reach his eyes, and the hair covers his pointed ears. The stubble on his face runs from ear to chin, with nothing on his neck, and no sign of a mustache growing. His pupils are as if they were marble stained with blue. His tanned and oily skin seems to almost shine, and his face always seems to be ready to chuckle or show regretful sorrow.
In normal weather, around his forge or in the heat of combat, he usually forgoes the effort of wearing upper body wear, except for simple iron pauldrons, rerebrace, and gauntlets on both of his arms, and wears the lower half of the umanori (horse-riding) hakama.
In this cold that was brought about by a mystical storm, he wears leather underneath his left arm armor set, and a thick cotton shirt, small plates of Lanayru copper that were made from left over metal from his scimitar attached to his hakama.

Personality: To be fleshed out later when the character development of the Winter event sinks in.

Residence: His Forge in Castle Town. One of the few places left there currently to have warmth left

Backstory: Ferro grew up around the Earth and Fire, spending most of his early life watching his father Sears work the forge and create swords and armor that couldn't be called anything but works of art. Nobles had ordered weapons for self defense from him, and Sears was the one to create the armor and a good majority of weapons for the Hyrulian Guards.

Ferro read a few books on magic when his father told him to leave the forge, often interested in fire magic, or spells that controlled the earth, metal and his own body. He spent almost a day every month devoted to this kind of study.

He ran every day with the other kids around the age of 10. They often spent time causing trouble and getting into dangerous situations, jumping from buildings, running from irritated citizens and surprising dogs. One day, he and his friends had a contest test of dares, pushing the dangerous situations to extremes.

The first thing was nothing much for them, leaping from roof to roof, climbing houses and making long falls. They were all experienced with climbing around, even if Ferro wasn't the best at it. From the top of one of the taller buildings in town, that only he accepted with sure confidence. Who'd believe a little bratty Blacksmith kid would be able to leap from the heights of such a mammoth establishment? A magnificent leap into the air, as people turn to look at the sight. Was it suicide, a stupid kid thinking he was invincible? The boy quickly accelerated ground-ward until suddenly, he vanished below the other rooftops, as he began to slow to a steady landing on the ground. Not the smartest prank, but it was an incredible way to show off.

Time passed, and this cocky began to forge weapons under the tutelage of his father, already forging swords with traces of magic and skill in them. He wasn't great, but it was a step forward on a road that he would soon follow. Forging blades became second nature for him, whether it be swords, axes, or even kitchen knifes. When using the forge, something soon came apparent, a gift one would say.

Whenever he step up to the forge, it would come to life as if to respond to his presence, the flames grew as he put metal up to it to heat and shape it. If he reached into the forge for a piece of coal to use for something else, the flames didn't retreat, but rather, slipped around his arms rather than strike him directly. Ferro's eyes responded in kind, by constantly mirroring the the flickering forge, with crimson eyes with floating embers of yellow. One could say that this small boy was the literal embodiment of the living flames that thrived in his forge.

What would a cocky brat with such a strange gift, and a strange existence alongside the flames? Unprepared to make true weapons with his talent, he prepared some of the best metals in his father's shop, lanayru copper, a metal that seemed to be brought to life at his touch, unlike when his father touched it before dousing it in flames and shaping it with a special process, azunal, a sapphire blue metal that has the appearance of marble when settled that Ferro could barely grasp the ability of, and the legendary aurellite, something that the forge had shown ferro with an insight into metals that most smiths would dream of.

Alas, it was all for naught, the Forge couldn't create the force that Ferro would need for such a project, not with Ferro's current skill. However, unwilling to quit, Ferro pushed forward, intensifying the flames of the forge with no regards to safety, embers flying through the air, before the Forge and Ferro lost control, and the Blaze consumed Ferro's right arm.

Ferro survived the even, but the forge had lost most of it's magical sort of strength, and Ferro couldn't call upon the forge, and without it, his life grew to become an empty shell. Forging blades was still his passion, but his works were nothing to match his old state, and his father grew often worried about this, and cried deep tears about how Ferro had lost his arm. It grew overbearing on the child's life.

Of course one day a strange humanoid, who couldn't be called a man, one could say, but more of a demonic spirit, giving a aura of flaming power. This demon, who's name shall not be revealed, decided to strike a little deal with Ferro, who would have done anything to get that ability of the forge back. The demon, pulled out a small blue sphere with a spike on it, and shoved it into Ferro's right side, where his shoulder would be.

Ferro blacks out and awakens in a strange shop, with a Slim man standing before him, holding what looked like a child-sized model doll arm with fingers and everything. He walks up to Ferro without a word, and attaches this doll to the blue sphere that was peculiarly not bleeding out, and walked Ferro home.

Once reaching Home, Ferro came back to a horrible sight, with bodies laying outside the forge, inside his house, everywhere. He ran inside to find his father, Sears, who was crying as he saw the strange limb on Ferro's arm. Ferro embraced his father, but the arm, which had taken a mind of it's own, just once, strangled him instead.

The guards were about to arrest and slaughter the poor kid, but the shady man who had given Ferro this new arm had vowed for him, which did save Ferro's life, but left in him in a state that was worse than ever before. He was shunned, an outcast, treated almost as poorly as Gorons were, if not worse, for the fear that he could ever do the same. He grew up peacefully, if lonely. It became his goal to avenge his father, and destroy that demonic thing, as well as reverse the state that he lived it, and return glory to the family line, and hopefully be able to continue it with with renewed and greater glory, but even then his goal remained unchanged to at least prevent anyone from becoming like him again.
