It's supposed to be this visual novel / fantasy game thing that borrows the Homestuck characters. According to my friend, the one who recommended Featherbent to me, it's stand-alone despite using the characters. Does anyone know anything about it? I'm thinking of going through it, but I was wondering if anyone here's heard anything.
I decided to take the initial dive for you :P Voice acting seems to be of fairly high quality, likewise with the art. The writing is decent thus far, but time will tell I suppose. Note that I've played like... two minutes, but it seems decent enough.
Love the art, and the voice actors use good microphones and actually attempt to (and actually do) get into the character's heads. The 1st chapter is basically a simple intro, but while I have yet to play the 2nd chapter, it's apparently a lot longer, and has the same level of quality throughout. Edit: I have played the second chapter, and I was right.
