Appearance: Evrard's a big guy, built tall and built thick, and he doesn't bother to hide it. He wears tank tops and hardy, rough jeans cut at the knees to keep from limiting his movement, and his dark hair is kept cut short to prevent it from ever getting in his eyes. He's had his fair share of fights in the past, enough that he's got a few nondescript scars scattered around his body, but his face is mostly clean and nothing's ever been broken, so he'd be a passably decent looking guy if he wasn't so angry so often.

Personality:
Evrard is all about action; thinking alone never gets anything done, so he'd rather always be acting than wasting time thinking. This can and has gotten him into trouble, sometimes even dangerous trouble, in the past, but his natural luck and his hardiness in a fight have gotten him through each and every case more or less no worse for wear.

An unhealthy sense of ignorance about the fate of the world is another facet of his constant composure when faced with the madness of the demon and shadow-torn world. Evrard refuses to accept that what has happened to the world is a bad thing; rather, he feels that the rise of a power-based heirachy in the world is the best thing that could've happened. It makes things simpler for him, and that's all he could ask for.

There are times, though, when Evrard's aggression and battle-lust can get the best of him, and he'll end up a screaming, roaring mess of violence that has pushed away any would-be friends in the past.

Backstory:

Evrard was born in the dawn of the first few hints of hope for humanity immediately following the great period of despair that was the mass genocide of mankind. He grew up in rough times, and when his mother was murdered in one of the unavoidable demonic raids, times became even rougher as his father dedicated himself to avenging her. As a result, Evrard grew up a little sullen, but mostly fine with the distant relationship with his father, and easily independent. He did manage to get into a few fights as a young man, mostly with other angry, young men, but he made it through childhood stable and able to keep most of his temper under control.

It was when his father died nearly a year after he moved out that Evrard's more violent and uncontrollable tendencies took over, and soon he was following in his father's footsteps, lashing out and attempting to ruin the day of any demons he could come across, and getting into as many fights along the way as possible. Nowadays, he gets a certain, unmatched rush from fighting, and not a day goes by that he doesn't smash something with his fists, feet, or the sledgehammer he's hauled around for years.
