The sun perched low among the leafy canopy of oak trees, illuminating the forest with its golden light. Under normal circumstances the sunset signaled a close for the day. The hammers are laid to rest, herds of livestock are ushered back to their pens, Children retire to their beds and Workers return home to their families. When the passing twilight finally brings about the soothing hush of night, the townspeople of Mido can finally enjoy their hard-earned rest.

Yet today, things are different. As the sun began to set, weary eyes look to the sky with unease. There is a quiet that descends over the village, but brings trepidation instead of tranquility. Nightmares and and dark thoughts have plagued the sleepless village for weeks now, but finally after sending prayer for aid, an unassuming Rito scholar descends from the heavens to answer their call.

After enduring a long flight, The white-haired woman's feet finally touched down to the soil. An exasperated sigh escaped her lips as her weary arms fell slack against her sides. "Gods, flying all the way here from Castletown was certainly a mistake. At least I'll finally be able to get some rest." She mused to herself before taking her first steps into the town of Mido.

Fields of grass swiftly passed by the window as the carriage drove past them. Trees came and left with the wind. Birds slowed to match the wagon's pace. The sounds of galloping horses carried down the road to Geti's ears. The carriage was small and Geti large, but the trip to Mido would hopefully be worth it. After 'the incident' in Castle-Town, he needed some good luck.

He snapped back to the present as one of his fellow passengers cleared their throat. He didn't realize he had spaced out. "So what takes you to Mido, friend?" a well-dressed Hylian man, possibly a store owner out to purchase new goods, addressed the Yeti, "Escaping a monster ambush like us and Keith over there?" Geti blinked, processing the question. "Ehh, no. Geti is going because of plot." "I'm sorry?" "Geti saw paper in Castletown, say there is plot of land for sale in Mido." "Ah, I see." "Business not so good in Castletown, Geti try luck in Mido." The man across from him nodded in understanding. "My wife and I," He gestured to the woman next to him, "Came down from a village near Woodfall. Moblin raid." Geti noded softly, sympathetically. "Is unfortunate." "Indeed." The man took a glance to the window, something catching his eye. "Ah! This must be Mido up ahead!"

The carriage pulled to a stop at the waystation, unloading its cargo of luggage and passengers alike. "It was a pleasure talking with you... Geti, was it?" "Is Geti, yes." "Well, good luck to you!" The man and his wife hurried on their way further into town. Geti caught glance of the man referred to as Keith disappearing into the waystation itself. The giant of a yeti took a deep breath of ocean air. He was not used to the salty scent, but that was fine. It was the start of a new beginning for him. He breathed deep again, but this time, something caught in his nose, tickling the insides of his nostrils. "Eh? Ah... Ahhhhh... AHHH..." He looked around, not wanting to sneeze on any passerbys. They blew away surprisingly easily. "AH-CHOOO!" The yeti exploded, kicking up a massive wind infront of him. Cooling down from the episode, he saw the source fluttering down around him in the form of softly falling downy feathers. "Eh... pardon Geti."

Ciska barely managed to take a single step towards her goal before a thunderous roar and a sudden burst of wind erupted behind her. The oncoming tempest took the Rito by surprise, knocking the tiny avian girl off her feet and tossing her body across the ground like a sack of potatoes. Her trip then met its sudden and unceremonious end as her body collided with a wooden crate nearby, splintering the wood with the impact but thankfully not disturbing the contents inside.

The Rito however was not so lucky as her body sank in place with her legs doubled over her head, while her rattled senses tried to piece together what in Valoo’s name just happened? “..Did I just get hit by the welcome wagon?”

Once the stars finally faded from her vision, she re-adjusted her glasses to get a better visual on her alleged assaulter. Ciska’s eyes grew wide as saucers as the gargantuan white figure came into focus and towered over her. It was no monster, but it was certainly a beast of a man. Geti was more than double her height and sextuple her weight. His massive tail alone would be able to crush even the strongest of Rito warriors, let alone his huge tusks or enormous arms. For the average Rito, Geti would be nothing but the personification of their biggest nightmares. However, Ciska was no average Rito.

“Oh. My. Various gods.” The young girl’s lips spread into the widest possible grin as she quickly scrambled to her feet and dashed towards the towering beast! “Are you a YETI!?!” She gasped as she abruptly started poking at his body. Any pains or body aches were now a distant memory as a barrage of questions now consumed her mind. “How dense is your fur? How much do you weight? What’s the farthest you’re able to sprint? Do you sweat, or pant? How big are your poops? Are your tusks for practical use, or display?? Are you...” She would prattle on and on if not interrupted, only briefly taking breaks to inhale before the next bombardment.
