    Equipment & Attire

    Dominion Rod
Dextra's primary instrument and occasional weapon is her Dominion Rod, a gift of mysterious origin received from her mother ten years ago. It is a mace-like tool almost two feet in length, sculpted in ornate design from pale bluish-green marble. Due to its size and weight, and Dextra's relatively weak frame, it must generally be carried in both hands.

What makes the rod unique is that when one's magical power is pumped into it, a small glowing green sphere will appear on the tip. This can be used simply as a means of weak illumination, but can also be thrown from the tip of the rod by swinging it. If the sphere hits a moderately realistic statue, that statue will become awkwardly mobile, and mimic the user's movements as closely as it is able. If the sphere does not hit a statue, the orb will boomerang back to the rod--this sphere will not affect anything else other than with illumination, and will stop and boomerang back if it verges on striking something. The orb will disappear, or the statue will become stationary, after the Dominion Rod leaves the user's hands or the user willingly cancels the effect.

    Robe & Scarf
Contrary to most of her race, Dextra prefers to wear clothing. Over the leaves extending down from her neck, she wears a hooded cloak of a dark, deep green hue. Inlaid over this hue is a swirling and somewhat mystical looking design of curled lines, colored a pale green. The lines are not smooth curves, but instead somewhat jagged, composed of several straight lines at gradual angles, rather than one straight curve.

Since her head is bulbous, being a Deku, the hood comes down a good halfway down her back when it isn't worn. When it is worn, it generally covers up her forehead, leaving a shadow over her face which her glowing orange eyes penetrate.

Wrapped around her neck is a thick, fluffy, cotton black scarf. It is specifically worn in such a manner that both of its tails lay flatly down over her chest, covering up most of the gap the open robe creates.

While the cloak can be buttoned up--only held around her with a pair of tied black strings around the neck--it is typically left open to not only allow for breathing room, but so Dextra may reach into the interior pockets where her rupees and other possessions are normally kept.

Deku Leaf, Statue(s), & Sculpting Tools
Some of the items most often kept within Dextra's cloak pockets are small sculpting tools for creating statues, including but not limited to a small carving knife for wood, a tiny ropeskin pouch of water, a small brush, and a few other small metallic utensils. In addition, most of her pocket-sized statues--only a couple inches in diameter--are kept within here as well when they are first crafted.

At the moment, she holds the statue of what appears to be a small, stylized dog, of clay; and one of her warrior sister, Sienna Denzrita, of wood.

Last but not least, folded up within the largest pocket of her cloak is a Deku Leaf--the one she received several years ago when she joined the Business Scrub Association. She never learned to use it properly by sticking the leaf onto her head, but she can still use the Korok Copter effect by holding the stem in her palms.

    Physicality & Appearance
Even by Deku Scrub standards, Dextra is exceedingly small, light, and frail. She stands only a couple feet tall, and is light enough for even a Hylian child to pluck her off the ground.

Not being born to actual Business Scrubs, Dextra's body is not the actual bowling-ball-with-limbs shape characteristic of them. Like her siblings and parents, she has a body more akin to the famous Deku Princess. That is, a large head and spherical with a separate small body beneath it, arms extending out at the shoulders, and little legs beneath the torso.

Like her sister, Sienna, the leaves on Dextra's body are wide and long (3"x5"), with pointed tips, almost spherical bases, and short stems. They are a deep forest green, slightly darker than average. They cover her head, hanging about three-fourths down on all sides. This ends with them typically hanging over her face, and although she could easily fix it with sap or trimming them, she instead finds herself almost constantly pushing them out of her face in order to see.

Identical leaves sprout out from her neck, but they are normally hidden behind her clothing.

    Personality
Despite the fact she has shown that Dextra can be extremely courageous and deft, that aspect of her personality is completely overshadowed by the fact she has terrible self-confidence. She is extremely shy around people she does not know, often barely able to speak if at all, and seems frightened in even the most mundane of circumstances. Thus, it shouldn't be surprising that she is very emotionally reactive to situations, sensitive, introverted, apprehensive, and unsure of herself.

Despite those shortcomings, she can be ingenious and creative. In addition, Dextra values the friends she has above all else, easily overcoming all her limitations if it means protecting them, as she has many times in the past.

As one might expect of her, however, she has a very dependent personality, feeling as though she needs the support of at least one trusted friend at all times, often requiring that they do most if not all of the talking to strangers for her. As such, she can be extremely clingy, and is rarely not seen in the company of someone else, particularly her elder siblings or another trusted Deku Scrub.

In combat, although she can't properly fight to save her own life, she can nonetheless be an invaluable ally surprisingly capable of holding her own. If kept safely out of harm's way, she can maintain her composure enough to support her allies with strong magic and fight with the aid of remotely-controlled statues. The statues in of themselves, if large and sturdy enough, can make for nearly-invincible and powerful warriors.

    Backstory
Dextra is the third and final offspring of her parents, born a full thirty years after her elder brother Guy and sister Sienna. Both of her siblings, like the fate of all those in her family it seemed, were filled with wanderlust that kept them away from their birthplace and travelling the world. As such, she did not get to know Sienna well until she herself was a 'tween, and was relatively unfamiliar with Guy until her own adulthood.

From a young age, her parents could tell she would be different from other Denzritas. She lacked in large part the confidence, the lust for adventure, and the yearning for battle, that both of them (having met in a Gerudo Prison) and both of their previous siblings held. However, it seemed finally that they would be able to raise a child in the traditional Deku manner, which they had secretly been wishing to do ever since Guy was born (and shortly after rebelled against them).

However, by the time she was a 'tween, it was clear Dextra would not fit into mainsteam Deku society either. She simply lacked the boldness which seemed so characteristic of her race, so expected in day-to-day lives. Even so, she performed all her duties well, and received good grades from her tutor... but simply didn't have any friends for such a long period of her youth. Whenever possible, she withdrew into her own quarters and passed the time alone, usually by carving little statues of both fictional people and her own family members.

It wasn't until one day that Sienna returned home and began to influence her younger sister that things began to change. Dextra began to become curious about the world, wanting to wander and explore just like everyone else--a notion at which her father could only sigh and smile, being just like himself and her grandfather before him. However, she was not the bravest sort, and couldn't simply become a mercenary like so many other Denzritas. No, Sienna mused on the subject, she would have to become a Business Scrub. That seemed like her best bet, or so Dextra's family agreed at the time.

Steadily coming into adulthood, Dextra worked as a rather lackluster Business Scrub wandering across Hyrule. Most often she was stuck selling the leftover wares of her peers, unable to secure any of her own, and could barely seem to pay the fees of her membership. It truly wasn't much of a surprise, in retrospect. She was never outgoing enough to be a salesman. In her travels, however, she began to discover things about not only the world but about herself... In addition to carving statues, she began practicing magic. Her curiosity in the magical arts was only more spurred on by the Dominion Rod given to her by her mother.

In time, she would come to quit the Association--after saving up enough to pay the exuberant fee to do so--and began accompanying either of her siblings or occasionally a childhood friend on their adventures, providing support with her magic.

All was well for several years; despite the fact her personality was still that of a meek little girl, she was satisfied, living a life of adventure, and supporting those who mattered most to her. However, several months ago, a certain trauma was brought back to the surface... of her youth, when a man (now deceased) abused her on a regular basis while she was still a toddler. It turns out this very well could have been what made her so different, and her weak personality has been struggling to cope with the resurfaced memories ever since they appeared. In that time, her mind was weighed down to the point she had forgotten not only some of her statue skills, but much of her magic...

Now, able to cope with it all, she once again sets out into the world, this time with the desire to relearn that which she has lost.
